Leslie: Meek, slightly shy and easily intimidated, Leslie's couldn't be more a fish out of water in social interaction. Her friends are few and in between, mostly due to the fact she can't bring herself to feel entirely at ease around most others. It's not that she's a bad person, or even a cold person; it's more due to the fact she can't seem to drop her guard or trust others' good intentions towards her. It takes her a while to form trust, or bond, but when she does, she latches onto them, metaphorically speaking, as if they were a lifeline.

Is prone to relying on those she trusts, and if she can put them between herself and everyone else and get away with it... she will. She might even resort to stereotypical hiding behind those she considers friends, if the situation allows. Tends to need a little push in order to make her speak up or bring up her thoughts to the proverbial table, but she will answer if asked.

What she lacks in confidence, however, she makes up for by being rather intelligent. When not under emotional stress, she can be quite sharp, and tends to add two and two rather fast; she's a fast, willing learner and despite her social incompetence, she's aware of her 'faults and does want to improve. She's adaptable despite her shyness, in the sense that she can cope with situations that might be considered 'out of left field'. This is due to the fact she approaches almost all situations with the same amount of mistrust and trepidation, and tackles them usually in the same way. You say aliens landed? She'll ask if someone's been sent to talk to them. She's gotten knee deep into trouble? She'll... come back to that after she's figured out if she should go tell someone or not. She won't bat an eye over strange things, and yet, at the same time, will approach things like a concert with trepidation (oh god, all the people - look at all the people!). She's compassionate, and rarely tends to get angry as she's both patient and non confrontational by nature.

Asphodel: Is (or was) a rather quiet being, serious to a fault Tends to not show emotions (or at least tries to) in an attempt to hide his more passionate nature. He values logical thinking and though he often falls prey of his own emotions... tends to try to calm himself into rational thoughts; how successful this is tends to vary according to situation. Mature, intelligent, and always has a quick word of advice, whether it's wanted or not.

Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter? ((Leslie was one of the Hunters from the original meta, but, truth be told, I have no idea if I ever posted this rp reason thingey, and it's been 3 years *inner sob* so I'm just going to do a summary thing if that's okay? ;A; )) After being separated from her brother Gale at the age of 13, when their parents decided they just couldn't handle the fact their children were... strange, Leslie swore she'd try to find a way back to him. The opportunity presented itself in the form of Hunter recruiting; if they had spotted her, seen her... if they'd decided her abilities were valuable to their organization, surely there was a chance she'd find her brother there, too. Leslie went with it.

Short Blurb: Gabrian is a Nix, which is a water based fae (demon), whom were said to lure humans through enchanting music, only to drown them. Once upon a time, upon his arrival at school, he was rather focused on maintaining no lasting bonds with anyone, keeping up a rather cool, frigid facade in an attempt to keep others away from him. This was mostly due to his own inability to think of himself as a proper, good demon; he thinks of himself as weak, specially due to the fact he has a big soft spot for cute things. Given the fact his approach to life at school failed rather swiftly (he made friends 8| WTF), Gabrian has since dropped the facade and figured that if he can't beat them, he'll join them and then he'll just go down when... the time comes. He figures he'll at least go down while having fun as opposed to not going down but being all alone or something like that.

As such, now a days, he's much more relaxed, easy going and silly than he used to be. Long gone are the snippy, icy retorts he used to offer strangers, instead replaced with polite cordiality. Given the fact his three best friends are monsters, he doesn't seem to have a problem with other races; he's probably going to treat an undead student in the same way he's going to treat a demon. It will all boils down to if he likes you or not.

Gabrian was called back home after he finished his first year at Amityville Academy, and had to leave school to go offer his parents help. He's been busy back home for the past two years due to the fact his parents had another child and he was delegated to having to take over a lot of his fathers' work. Now that the issues are resolved, he's back at the Academy, eager to pick up where he left off, though... there's a lot of new things he's unaware of and he's not entirely sure how much things have changed in the two ic-years he's been missing.

Other Things to Know:
- As a Nix, he is attracted to water, and feels ansty when he's away from it for too long (how long is anyone's guess - he usually doesn't go more than a few days without swimming if he can help it).
- He has a secondary, serpentine form, which he can often be found in when swimming. Some good Refs of this form can be found here and here. They also show his general size in that form.
- He loves minipets, and seems particularly fond of floresce pets. They have, in fact, mostly taken over the large water tank in his room (which is technically, effectively... his bed, since he sleeps there in serpent form).
- He's much more easily approached by ghouls than boils, but he's loosened up considerably since his arrival to the school.
- He now has mild water manipulation abilities (think water bending except it can't be used as a weapon since he can't move water fast enough or in large enough quantities to hurt anyone).
- He used to be in a relationship with LW, until he noticed she and his best friend, Ren, had fallen in love with each other. He broke it off with LW and pushed her Ren's way, deciding it would be better for all involved; love's a powerful thing, after all. He still loves both his friends and bears no ill will or bitter feelings for them.
- He has been gone from the Academy for 2 full, ic years and has only just returned. He is in Year 2.


What I'm Looking for:
- Gabrian needs friends. And enemies. He needs everything.
- A frenemy/rival maybe? IDK! I think that might be interesting to rp! Though granted, his last frenemy ended up as his his best friend so.... YEAH. UHM. Try me!
- Friendly (or not so friendly) fights when his FEAR and shizz is approved? I have no idea what I'm doing here because /I/ have been missing for 2 years so... uhm, I might need some hand holding on this.
- Minipet orientated rp? IDK
- I am tentatively open to some sort of romantic plot(s) with him before he settles down. I would like for him to meet some ghoul(s) and go out with her/them, maybe? It wouldn't be a lasting relationship, and we can end it however you want - either with them as friends or them as... not friends at all. I'm also fine with either Gabe OR the girl doing the dumping, that's all cool. Aka, if you want some sort of romantic plot with someone... but you don't want it to be the REAL thing, Gabe's open for this. Toss me ideas!
- I don't know if he'll be up for an actual, lasting romantic relationship (though I'm not closed off to him actually settling down! He's the type that would indeed settle down happily if he found the one), since his previous romantic plot's owner has left gaia for the most part, haha XD but I might be up for it. I figure I'll leave my options open and decide through rp. Because... rp, right?

- Leslie has been in her pod since the original Hunter event and only just woke up. She's disorientated, and not entirely sure what's up.
- He has a Twin brother, called Gale Gentry (owned by kurotomato)
- She has not yet been approved, and I still need to do her weapon rp, etc, so it might be a little time before I can take her out for the proverbial rp test drive, if you know what I mean xD

What I'm Looking for:
- I would like friends, acquaintances, etc. I understand that given her personality, it might take her a bit to open up to people (then again, it might not - it depends the rp or the situation), but despite her social awkwardness, I want to force her into it.
- Frenemies or Rivals or even enemies would be good!
- As far as romance goes, she's not the flirting or the dating type. I would, however, like to find her a match at some point, though... I'm in no hurry, and neither is she, haha. In fact, if at all possible, I'd like for her to develop a crush on someone that initially scared the absolute crap out of her at first, though this would have to be a slow burn sort of deal. I just think it might be fun to get her to trust, and/or develop feeling for someone she initially thought to be scary as all hell, or mean (this does not mean the person in question needs to be mean at all! It's just how she might perceive things - person might just be awkward or something else).
- Fights? oAo as soon as I okay her and her weapon FEAR etc. I want to put her into any and every situation.
