Before Naotaka met Ilya, he was a person with no identity or sense of self, no feelings. To gain his freedom, he put up a disguise that allowed him to adapt naturally into any type of situation and targeted ever more powerful women of the house. After he met Ilya, he is calm, sweet, caring, overzealous--and a little self-defeating. He is very obsessed with Ilya and is willing to do anything for her, since he is "her dog". He implied that he very much became infatuated with her and gets somewhat jealous when other men talk to her. To him, nobody in the world can compare to Ilya as he finds Ilya the perfect girl.
But they don't know me:
Naotaka is the nine-tailed fox's reincarnate, and seemingly very dangerous at first. To control him, his family placed him under severe house arrest, and escorted him to and from school. His room was his world; he has never met his parents. Through school, he learned to be very clever, and how to trick people. He started playing with women, starting with a maid. He moved through the ranks, trying to gain more and more freedom, and to move away from his family. He was close to his goal, but unfortunately the parents found out of his plans. They expected much less from him, but Naotaka was much more intelligent. Knowing that they could not tame him under that bunker, they had to release him. Chaining him up and placing him under another man's care for a year, Naotaka soon came to realize he was at a chamber. Apparently he was not given to another person's care, he was given to the black market. His first task was to assassinate a young girl who had lost her parents at the age of six, in an orphan. Naotaka had no feelings by then, he was a cold assassin, and did as told. He went on and on in killing innocent motherless girls, and only girls. None of his missions were related to males, all were to kill girls. Years went on, and ultimately he was given a task to assassinate a young girl who had lost her parents in a car accident at the age of five, and was raised by her brother. Naotaka did not reject, he took it and went with it. The news constantly had murder cases where little girls were killed by an unknown murderer, who was Naotaka. He did not realize, but he bear feelings for the girls he kill, and he had no intention nor whatsoever to dissect them. He kills them by stabbing their heart, that was all. The black merchants ordered him to slice them up, Naotaka subconsciously Naotaka could not do such as he developed feelings. Every single moment before he kills them, he learns fear, he learns death, he learns horror, and thus that had stopped him from dissecting them. Every time he murders, he hesitates for a short second before he plunges his sharp fox claws into their hearts. What he did to repent was to lay the dead corpse in a sleeping fashion, straight with the arms folded and hands placed onto the chest. But that was not all, he added a red rose in their hands, paying his respect despite him killing them. Until that day, where he was assigned to kill a young girl, he failed. He had targeted her, and followed her around. but what had stopped her was the clueless and loveless expression that she bears despite having a brother. His heart skipped a beat, Naotaka could tell what she was feeling. There could be love, but it was always out of reach. Naotaka stopped, and tears rolled down his face, he somehow was touched when he saw that innocent expression, he couldn't bring himself in killing her. Thus he stopped, but he continued on his life by following the young girl until she grew up. By the age of 23, he could not age anymore, thus retaining his twenty-three year old self but keeping his real age a secret. Following the young girl for many years, Naotaka had finally found the chance to be with her. His goal in being with her was to understand her, provide her with what she lacks, and hopefully be with her for his eternity. He was in debt of her, this crimson-haired girl was the one who had brought feelings to Naotaka. Finally, he found the chance, and he took it. Now he acts as a guardian, in hopes he could be much useful to this girl he had kept his eyes on for years, Ilya.
Kyūbi (九尾)
Naotaka has the ability to transform himself into a Nine-Tail Hybrid that could do much than just greatly boosting his physical aspects. Excluding well in combat, he has two abilities that towers normal humans.
> As a feared Japanese folklore Nine-Tail, Naotaka could do many things. He could unconditionally heal himself in many situations. Despite being in human-form or Hybrid-form, he could heal himself in an extraordinary speed. Not just externally, even internally, making him possibly immortal. Let's say he withstood a gunshot on his heart, he may feel excruciating pain for a set of time, but eventually the bullet is pushed out by his blood and the wound would just seal up. Though it may takes time, but he will survive. The one and only weakness to temporarily weakens him and stops his regeneration is Mercury in its Liquid form. Once it comes in contact with his skin, he will stop his regeneration and weakens himself.
> Being a Nine-Tail, Naotaka has the ability to call forth Nine Fox Spirits out. Each has its own elements and abilities in battle. Shiranui, also known as the Prime of the Nine, has the ability of all the others, being the all-rounder within the nine. Shiranui is also the strongest among all, the leader of the pack. Yami, the Darkness of the Nine, able to manipulate Shadows at its will. Mamoru, the Shield of the Nine, able to defend against all types of attacks. Homura, the Flames of the Nine, able to manipulate Flames at its will. Koori, the Ice of the Nine, able to manipulate Ice at its will. Raijin, the Lightning of the Nine, able to manipulate Lightning at its will. Ken, the Blade of the Nine, able to use its blade to attack. Kaze, the Wind of the Nine, able to manipulate Wind at its will. And lastly, Kougeki, the Fist of the Nine, fights with the Tomoes around it. This Nine Fox is tamed by Naotaka, and he can summon either of it at any time. Though being able to summon them, it would only last for a certain amount of time (10 Posts) before it fades away. If either of the beast were to be injured, Naotaka would be the one enduring the pain while he will also gets weaken by the pain. Once the period of time is over, Naotaka will revert to his original form, thus becoming much weaker and tired.
The only way to destroy his immortality, is to mentally break his will. Once he has lost a goal, or lost a will to continue his life, he will willingly die. Once that happens, he will die if he withstood a gunshot on his heart. His drawbacks are minor, and it may be hard to find, but once found, it's Game Over for his life.
