Oh my goodness! I landed a second interview for a job that offers benefits and is part time. I went to the interview yesterday and I think it went great (whereas I thought my first interview went badly).

(yesterday since it is currently only 7am)
Not only did I get my new journal in the mail, I also worked my second day at my new job as a personal assistant (and after yesterday's flat tire fiasco while running an errand during my first 3 hours on the job, I'm so glad she asked me to come for a second day).

I heard that minimum wage in CA is now $9.00/hr, a whole dollar increase! (but I just checked online and it looks like that doesn't start until July)

I landed a transportation job (just taking two kids to and from school) that is $120/week and hopefully will also be babysitting the two teens I watched last year as a second job and usable income (since the $120/week will basically only cover my bills).
