Rider

Name: Z'fer
Age: 30
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Former/Current Craft and Rank: Journeyman Seacrafter
Rider Rank: Wingrider

History: Z'fer is the oldest child of Dockmaster Offaren and Captain Rezza, both Seacrafters stationed at Dorras Hold. He has five siblings all together, ranging in age from one to 6 turns younger than him, including one set of twins.

Personality:
Competitive. Z'fer likes to win. He'll not back down from a challenge, even if it's just in his mind. Z'fer knows dragonriders don't fight but that hasn't stopped him from getting in a 'friendly scuffle' or two, particularly when drinking. He tends to act without thought when angered which has gotten him in trouble. When Z'fer does lose he'll often try to blame someone or something else on it. It wasn't his fault he lost, It was obvious he should have won.

When it comes to being a dragonrider Z'fer takes it very seriously. It galls him that he's not a Wingleader and he's always trying to prove himself and earn the position. He flies well with his wing. He'll take orders from ranked superiors but an order from a fellow rider makes him bristle. Z'fer has excellent sense of direction, nothing rivaling a Black but as well as any normal human can. When under pressure Z'fer is in his element. He thrives in fast paced, dangerous senarios. He's an adrenaline junkie.

In his down time Z'fer appears relaxed and confident. He laughs freely and seems secure in 'who he is'... or egotistic depending upon how much you like him. He's an attractive man and enjoys flirting and showing off for women. He's not much into having a lasting relationship but if she's willing or her dragon is proddy by all means he'll take advantage of it. He's selfish and wants only the best for Calanoth and himself.

Physical Description:
Z'fer is every inch the jolly sailor bold. From his square jaw with thick brows, to his broad chest and shoulders, this 6 foot 4 inch male takes great care of his appearance and exudes confidence. Turns of days spent soaking in the salt of the ocean and the hot pernese sun has darkened his skin to a deep honeyed hue, complimenting his straight black hair. His grey eyes betray his emotions more so than any other part of his expression. Where the rest of his face can be an emotionless mask when he tries, his eyes will always show whether he is about to laugh or rage.

Other:

Dragon

Name: Calanoth
Age: 11
Color: Bronze
Physical Description:

Personality:
He may be proud, he is a bronze after all, but on average Calanoth is about as chill as a dragon can get. All bark and no bite so to say. He's the mountain that lays there in the sun while children, hatchlings, flits and even whers crawl all over him. Calanoth could care less even when they step in his eyes or nibble his toes.

The big guy has always had a major soft spot for hatchlings of any species. He can be surprisingly delicate for a creature so large when he plays with them. Swimming is one of his preferred activities, splashing in the shallows, or carrying them on his back into deeper water. Calanoth makes an excellent babysitter.

Not to say Calanoth is all squishy. It may take some time to get him going but he doesn't take any crap from adult dragons or their riders. From zero to sixty in a moment, he'll rise to the occasion if you get in his face. Calanoth can roar and hiss with the best of them, and should his temper not get in the way, he can even drum up a decent sense of command. When it does, very little will make him back down short of his opponents surrender. Still, he prefers to stay right where he is and leave all that to Z'fer.

Calanoth does have a problem with tact. He can be brutally honest with the best intentions, and become bewildered when someone takes it the wrong way.

Flights bring out the worst in Calanoth. He will chase anything that rises, be it green, gold, or the occasional blue in the right light. Sorry mate, give a guy some warning next time. When he's chasing, all bets are off, If it's words she wants, Calanoth will spout whatever comes through his brain. If she wants agility, he'll risk his own neck with stupid stunts. By far his favorite flights are those where he can display his size and strength or better yet, when he can personally remove his competition from the fight... I mean flight.
