There are Five main types of Handlers: Tamers or Hunters, Gladiators, Channelers, Healers and Traders.

Tamers, or Hunters which is a very small sec, are the most common out of all the Handler types, mostly because almost every Handler is partial a Tamer. Tamers capture Spirits, either for their own use or to sell. Many have a goal to accomplish, such as to find one certain Spirit. Other do it because it is their job. They usually have Puppets that are fast and are very sneaky, even though they may not have much strength.

Gladiators are the second most common, because, like Tamers, most handlers fight at one time or another. They are Handlers that live for the fight. They fight in Human to human, Puppet to Puppet or even Human on Puppet, sometimes combination fights. They usually have very strong and physical Puppets who may not be the sharpest sword.

Traders are the Third most common. They too are bonded into most Handlers because many Handlers trade Puppets for food, trade them for other Puppets, favors sometimes, or even sell them for money. Many Traders will only sell or trade one type of Puppet. Also Traders usually carry a small book with them if they need to call out a puppet they haven't used in a while.Traders usually have very devious and nimble Puppets who will try to gain certain things, such as freedom or affection, from their Handlers

Channerlers are much more rare than Traders, mostly because many Handlers can not control a Puppets pure energy which the Channerlers use! Channerlers use the pure energy of a Puppet to cast spells, most Handlers only use small fragments of energy of themselves to bind a Spirit to a Capture Card. Channelers use much of their Puppets pure energy as well as a good deal as their own to cast varied spells, such as muting a Puppet when its in its Capture Card, or making a Spirit fall asleep. Channelers are rare because if the Handler uses to much of a Puppets pure energy or to much of their own, they might die. Channelers usually have very smart and energy rich puppets who may not be the best at combat.

Healers are the rarest of the five main Handler types. This is because not many know how to use or even control their own Emotional energy, much less their Puppets. Not much is known about them accept they use very friendly and helpful Puppets who are very passive.
