 Chrome Chrome shrugged and followed her into the kitchen. As she offered him tea he shook his head. "No, I'm good..." He said, and watcher her boil the water. If he touched it, it'd probably just revert to powder and he'd choke or something. Too bad, he had heard that tea was quite delicious.

gaia_star Kiki Pearl gaia_star  Kiki nodded. "Alright." Kiki said and finished making the tea. "Are you sure? I promise I won't poison it." Kiki said to him and giggled. "Don't worry, I'm not offended by the way." Kiki added as she added sugar to the pitcher of tea. "If you ever change your mind, feel free to get some. It'll be in he fridge if you do." Kiki said as she poured herself some and spilled a little on the counter before she put it in the fridge.

Chrome Chrome shook his head. "Ah, no, I can't... literally." He said. He figured this wouldn't offer enough of an explanation, so he walked over to the counter where she spilled the tea. He put his hand on top of it, and it turned into a sort of powder. He wiped it off, and put it in the trash. Being that it was tea, it was only part water, therefore didn't disappear completely. Instead, it had lost all it's liquidity (is that a word?), and turned into a powder.

gaia_star Kiki Pearl gaia_star Kiki looked sad. "I'm sorry, I didn't know..." she looked at him and smiled. "Is there anything that I can make you?" Kiki said to him and looked around the kitchen. "I love to cook, so I don't mind." Kiki asked as she turned back to him as recipies flowed through her mind. ((Sorry for the short post. It is a word now XD))

Chrome Chrome shook his head. "It's alright." He said, and shook his head again when she offered him something. He honestly wasn't all that hungry, and anything she would make would probably end up drying up in his hands. "Well, if you wanted, I could make you something. Just... I'd mix it with water." He said. The powder that the food was changed into tasted the same, but a different texture. If one were to add water, Chrome imagined that it'd taste the same.

gaia_star Kiki Pearl gaia_star Kiki smiled and her eyes sparkled with excitement. "I'd love that!" She bounced on her toes with excitement. "If you need any help finding anything, let me know." Kiki said to him and looked around the kitchen. "By the way, there are a few bright sides to your ability." Kiki said with at least two thoughts in mind.

Chrome Chrome nodded, and walked into the kitchen. He wasn't exactly sure what to make, but figured he'd think of something. After thinking for a moment, he decided he would just make lemonade. It was simple, and something that would be easy. Unless the lemons would loose liquidity... But he figured as long as he didn't touch the juice he'd be fine.
"B-bright side? ...I don't see any..." He said, as she said there were 2 bright sides. He squeezed a lemon into a cup. Sure enough, powder came out instead of juice. He'd deal with that later. He added some other stuff to the lemonade (what else would you put in?) and looked at it. It was an ugly powder, but he figured it'd taste the same. "Water..." He mumbled, and handed the cup to Kiki. "Don't eat that, add water first. Otherwise it'll have the texture of sand, which will be nasty to eat"

gaia_star Kiki Pearl gaia_star Kiki put her elbows on the counter and rested her head in her hands as she watched him squeeze the lemons. "That looks so cool!" She said as she watched powder come out instead of normal juice. She wa ls about to poke the powder and taste it when he warned her not to. "Sorry, I got distracted. The bright sides are actuially really helpful." Kiki said with a nervous giggle. "Well, first of all, your ability makes liquids easier to clean up, and second, it would be easy to preserve things if they don't have water in them." Kiki said counting with her fingers as she spoke. "I do have one question, though..." She said quietly as she held the pitcher of powder.

Chrome Chrome shrugged. "Well, then you have to clean up the sand... it can be a pain. I suppose it'd be easier, but then you don't get the... presentation you usually would." He said, as she explained the bright sides. Well, it was better than nothing. He looked at her as she said she had a question. "Question? Huh... what is it?"

gaia_star Kiki Pearl gaia_star Kiki stood up straight and turned the water on. "Well I wouldn't want to offend you, but I feel that I should ask..." She said seeming to have calmed down, as if the thought of offending him upset her. "If you poked me, what would happen?" Kiki asked putting water in the pitcher turning it back into juice. "would it hurt? Does it even work on people?" Kiki asked and looked at him when the powder was fully juice again. "I hope I didn't offend you, I'm just a little curious, that's all..." She said quietly as she held the pitcher of lenon juice out to him.

Chrome Chrome looked at her, as if he was offended, but it quickly went away when she said she would be sorry for offending him. "Well... It probably wouldn't do anything... I mean, you're covered in layers and layers of skin... And besides, I'm living right now." He said, avoiding her gaze. To be honest, he had no idea what would happen. However, this was why he never wanted to be 'in a relationship'. He would be afraid to hurt the person.

gaia_star Kiki Pearl gaia_star Kiki saw his face and she looked down. "I already offended him, I might as well try..." She thought and set the pitcher on the counter. Kiki could feel her heart pounding. She quickly grabbed his hand with both of hers before he could pull away. "I feel fine...Looks like it dosn't hurt people." Kiki said and then blushed brightly at the fact that they were now holding hands. "It might not do anything to me because I also use fire." Kiki said dropping his hand. "Please don't be mad at me, I'm sorry if I upset you... She said quietly and she looked away from him as she looked like she was going to cry, so she hid her eyes with her bangs. She didn't mean to offend him, but she wasn't afraid of the conciqueces, and she felt she had to show him that she wasn't afraid of him.

Chrome Chrome looked up, startled, as she held his hand. He blushed a bit, as she spoke. "Yeah..." He said, as she dropped his hand. He noticed she wasn't looking at him. 'I wonder if she lied... probably not...' He thought, looking awkwardly at the floor.

gaia_star Kiki Pearl gaia_star Kiki turned around and picked the sugar up. "Are you mad at me?" She asked looking at him with a smile. Kiki hoped he would say no, but she was't sure if he would be or not. "I really do feel alright..." Kiki said and handed him the sugar. "It's good for you to know that you won't hurt me right?." Kiki asked and let a tear slip down. "Ow. I think I got hair in my eye... She faked and quietly and she rubbed her eye. She was happy she did it, but she felt bad for offending someone she had just met.

Chrome Chrome shook his head. "It's fine..." He said softly. He noticed from the tone of her voice that she was faking, but didn't really care. He looked at the sugar. 'Why did she...?' He thought, although picked a piece up. He tossed it into his mouth. It was, well, sugary in every way possible.
