He'd been wandering, and for Carmus, wandering was met with annoyance. There wasn't exactly anything safe out here, nothing very good nor grand. But, there were others. Hearts like his own, hearts of a different sort- then things without. It was the ones without that proved a threat. At the first sign he'd have a fight to deal with Carmus just acted, kicking out, trying to knock the thing back. Thiamas had been alone for quite some time now, and he had learned in that time that he really didn't like it. He missed his small friend, missed the companionship of others. And he knew, just knew, that wandering around alone was a dangerous thing. Of course, just as he thought that, he would stumble upon one of those strange and hostile creatures, as well as one who fought against it, and looked like he needed some aid! Jumping straight to it, Thiamas hopped onto the scene, giving little regard to his own safety, and swiped at the creature with small claws. This was the second time that Rime had come across one of these creatures, and fighting in numbers seemed to be the better option. Even though there were two of them so far, a third couldn't hurt, right? So in she ran, doing a bit of damage to the creature. There he was, the most familiar shadow! Leaping forward, the little shadow darted past the others to smack the enemy on the head. He had been so afraid, but now they were reunited together, and they could fight this! Along with... those other people. The little one glanced around at each of them, as though silently asking who they could be to be fighting with his small blue companion.
