» Formerly the leader of the old squad one of Konoha, Recca has dedicated himself to a more fitting job after having his team disbanded for complicated reasons. He blames himself for the loss of his genin student Pyro, who was also known as the Kyuubi jinchuuriki. Due to his careless beliefs she was captured by the Akatsuki and over time his squad was disbanded because Kain Muramasa moved to Kirigakure to discover his family secrets and Inoru Yamanaka quit being a shinobi to become a full time medical student. He now works as a merciless mercenary for Konoha. His job is to eliminate any threats to the village without hesitation. As he works he makes sure to look for clues on the where abouts of Pyro Reikon to ensure whether she is in fact alive or dead.

» Kale was always a master of kenjutsu, and after proving to be the top shinobi of his fellow anbu comrades he was offered the position of serving under Recca to form a two man mercenary squad. He looks up to his partner as the leader of the mercenary squad and together they are a combination of both ultimate offense and impenetrable defense. It is a wise choice not to challenge Kale or Recca directly, unless one is surely capable of defeating them both at the same time,
