Cole Brunel+Glaceon+ There's no such thing as a bad pokemon...
Cole stretched as he finally made it back to the Academy. It had been a while, and he actually had to skip a year of coming because of well, behavioral issues. Not his issues, no, but the Glaceon's that was on his shoulder. She always was a big trouble maker. Cole took one last look at the school before taking a seat on a bench and stretched out once more, letting Glaceon hop down onto his lap as he stroked her back absentmindedly. He was already late, so there was no real point to head off to the last few minutes of class. He would just relax here until the next bell rang, which was easy enough for him. That was until Glaceon began to hop around, almost knocking over a few different vases as Cole ran around straightening them. He eventually managed to catch the trouble maker and held her close. "...I told you to not cause trouble..." Then he heard the bell ring and sighed, walking to class.

Mia sat in the entrance hall, her hair tied back, and a new face sitting on top of that. A beuatifly. It wasn't all that impressive of a beautifly, small but cute like any other of its kind. Mia sighed as she waited around. "I sent them both a message that I'd be in Adell for a while so we could meet up here," She said as she looked up at the bug pokemon. "I wonder if Lydia took my advice and joined in a club. Might be the reason why she's running late or being held up. Azreal's probably still setting up for one of his classes. Lydia doesn't sound so confident about his class, mostly on her part. But I feel better knowing that Azreal's kind of keeping watch over my baby sister." Beautifly made no reply as it just watched her and listened. "I think it's sweet that she looks up to him, playing the big brother role. Lydia needs to be more confident in herself. And she needs more role models, rather than just trying to be like her big sister all the time. Mom and I agree that we all need to be able to be our own person--but dad doesn't want any of us to grow up!" Mia laughed.

Azrael was in the middle of some grooming and thinking over new class when he got the message. He was in complete surprise that he instant stopped what he was he doing and get to the Entrance. He didn't even have time to get washed up or look nice for her. All he cared about was making sure that this wasn't a joke.
Azrael nearly skidded as he stopped and panted. After moving his hair from his eyes, he smiled in relief to see Mia there with a Beautifly. He approached her, walking up to Mia with arms extended out. "Mia...." he said warmly.
Azrael embraced Mia deeply as he nuzzled into her neck. "It's so good to see you." He looked at her before he spun her around. "Did you miss me?"

Mia smiled, standing up quickly to join in Azrael's warmth. "Hey! Tickle spots!" She laughed as he buried his face in her neck. Beautifly felt all the commotion and bailed from Mia's head. It hoovered near by, grooming its face while the humans interacted. Mia continued her laughter as she was spun around, "Of course I missed you!" She smiled. "I decided to take a short vacation. All of October to spend time with my baby sister. And my handsome boyfriend," She pushed him lightly. "But... I don't know if my boyfriend would let me stay with him during that time. I don't think he likes to snuggle," She went into a burst of laughter as she teased him.
"Oh! I forgot to introduce Sakura. One of the mascots for our restoration efforts." The beautifly nodded shyly as it was introduced. "A lot of habitat was destroyed with Team rocket's rampaging, but I was lucky enough to find a couple of wurmple. I thought maybe... If you and Lydia both had a beautifly, you could tutor her? I know she's really looks up to you like a big brother. Or a favorite uncle." She kept her arms loose around his waist, letting Sakura land back on her head for a closer inspection of Azrael. "I'm guessing that Lydia's off with her friends. So... why don't we go somewhere? I can't remember the last time you treated me to a date! So you'd better start making it up to me," She winked at him. Mia was pretty, in a sense (definitely when compared to her younger sisters), but she didn't dwell on favorite feminine stereotypes. So long as Azrael made the effort of being with her, she didn't care where they were! She didn't ask for anything more than his time when it could be spared for her, and was patient with the busy lives they had.

Azrael smiled when he heard the words over again: Mia was with him and Lydia for an entire month. He felt her pushing at him lightly, joking around with him about staying with him. "Oh but my sweet flower." he tease taking one a mock French accent. "My hand and my bedside has been cold without me holding me close to me." Already in his head she was seeing the best case scenario of her laughing at him and calling him corny and mushy since he really did miss sleeping next to her.
The attention was off to the newest addition to her team, a Beautifly that was named Sakura. Azrael smiled at the pokemon as Mia explained that it was one of the mascots for their efforts in restore much of what Team Rocket ruined in their campaigns. He smiled warmly at Mia as she asked about both him and Lydia having Beautiflies and then tutoring her. He chuckled when Mia said that Lydia looked up to him like he was her big brother. He scratched his cheek. He tried to be like a brother for Lydia but at the same time remaining her teacher. He winced at the uncle part and hoped that was another cute joke of hers.
"A date?" Azrael said as Mia volunteered him to take her somewhere. "Of course... So unless you feel like you're a stranger, you can choose where we go... My treat."

Mia rolled her eyes, smiling. "Sounds like you had a lot of me time," She joked. When given her choice of where to go, she thought for a moment, staying close to Azrael. "You know what? Today feels like a tex-mex day. I'm not sure why." There it was: something simple. Azrael had taken her to fanciful places before; but in all honesty, Mia felt out of place each time. Even on the contest stage, she felt out of place (and had very little to state otherwise.
In those days, it was Liee's unusual ability to use ice punch, or Raskle's odd colors that boosted her up into the second round. Anything else was luck--and not enough to ever get close to a grand festival! It was a little unusual that she and Azrael would be a couple, but it worked thus far! There was that saying about opposites. And Azrael never pushed her into anything; that was something she liked most about him.
"Well, since I'm from out of town... I guess you'll have to lead the way!" She stuck out her tongue for a moment. She called Sakura back into its pokeball. It was too wet and chilly outside to let it linger outside. "I'll reregister that silcoon later when I find Lydia. Right now, my boyfriend is taking me to dinner!" She laughed, locking arms with him.

Selena walked towards the giant gates and looked up, amazed. This place was really quite grand. Vulpix rested in her arms softly, looking around the area as well. Riolu had his arms crossed and walked along side Selena, always looking out in case something or someone decided to drop in on them. Selena sighed and her eyes wandered over to Riolu, "it's fine Riolu, we're safe here" she whispered. Of course that's what she wanted to believe. Riolu met her eyes and nodded, as he began to relax. She smiled softly and him and moved forward again. She was happy she was able to attend the academy, maybe now she could work on her shyness and become the women she's always dreamed of. Vulpix kicked its legs happily, enjoying the warmth that radiated off of Selena as they pressed forward.
