With a few basic hand signs the user is able to channel a thin jolt of electricity into an opponent, this can only be done by touch.

One of the most basic raiton jutsu that most Genin learn after discovering their element. The user fills their body with a surging electrical current in which they can then pass on a current to anything they touch, including an opponent.

A jutsu that creates a clone made of lightning based chakra. Unlike the normal clone jutsu, being just an illusion that cant attack, a lightning clone has a solid form due to the electrical chakra the fills its form. They can attack as a real person could, but only with a quarter of the original's strength. To make up for this, they can deliver minor stings of electricity with their physical attacks.

A simple technique, in which consists of the user placing the sword in front of him/her. This is a real life technique as well. It balances the body, positioning it an steady idol. As a result, handling the sword heightens to swifter and quicker terms.

The user utilizes chakra into their footing and kicks the air to jump higher, giving the appearance of flight. It is useful for evading attacks while in midair.

The user lifts his/her sword and diagonally slashes in a quick succession, in which would uproot an entire tree or tear away water in front of them.

The user holds the sword backwards and spins to create a whirlwind like shield. It's able defend against B-rank and below even though it's C-Rank.

A simple technique that involves the shinobi to step into his attacker and palm strike at his or her chest. This counter is mainly performed against punches and done as follows. If the enemy attacks with his right hand, you the shinobi must place your right hand to defend where your enemy strikes. Now with that in place you ready your opposite hand to strike quickly.

The first instance where the practitioners speed is utilized. The shinobi throws a quick snapping punch. But unlike normal punches done with this style, this utilizes everything the shinobi has trained for. This punch creates a small snap that when the enemy is hit by it, it creates a small welt. Now what might seem like a small welt can develop into a problem. Precise attacks with this attack can slowly cripple an enemy, strikes to the eye quickly cause them to close, strikes to elbows and knees cause them to stiffen. The direct damage isn’t this attacks importance but rather how it slows down your opponent.

This training method is used to gain better chakra control. To do this, the user has to be emitting a constant stream of chakra from the bottom of the their feet and using the repellent force to walk across the water's surface. This technique is more difficult to master than the Tree Climbing Practice, because the amount of chakra that needs to be emitted changes constantly. It has also been shown that one can use their chakra to "skate" across the water surface, like an ice skater, instead of just walking or running. And, as noted by Jiraiya, the more one trains this technique the more they reach a state where they stand on water without even noticing it or basically even trying. [Once the user successfully learns this, they can use the technique passively all the time without even knowing sometimes]

A simple ninjutsu technique where the user performs a single hand sign and then transforms into a desired visual appearance other than their own. Example: Transforming into a friend or an animal.

Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell. Rank of jutsu may vary depending on the Rank of genjtutsu being cancelled.

Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.

This is one of the most basic shinobi skills. By focusing their chakra into one's feet, and keeping a steady flow, the user can walk straight up completely vertical surfaces. Training to learn this technique can be frustrating; if you focus too little chakra into your feet, you will fall off and most likely hit your head, whereas if you focus too much, the surface will crack and the user will be forced to jump off before it collapses. [Once it is learnt once, it can be passively used all the time]

A ninjutsu technique in which the user swaps their body's position with that of a nearby object, usually a log or branch, to avoid attacks and let that object take the attack for them. You cannot substitute yourself with the body of another living being. This technique can only be used every 3 post.
