G'nar 7 1/8 marks G'nar cursed inwardly when the woman declined the trade for the flit egg, but.. he couldn't help be pleased at yet another sale. "I'll put it aside, are you collecting later or am i sending it up to your Weyr?" he asked her, pulling his last tawny pelt from the stall "That's one mark" he reminded her as he put it away safely.

A'nos"If you're interested in firelizards I'll keep you in mind should this one ever clutch," A'nos put in smoothly to G'nar with a light gesture to his affectionate crimson. "I'm sure we could work out an amicable sale or trade, though being what she is there's no guarantee she'll ever manage it of course, poor dear." Ah, the great atypical debate. His stance for firelizards was firm 'they're frivolous pets anyway, so where's the harm?' but his opinion on dragons was much more softly softly and could shift subtly like a dozing tunnelsnake depending on who asked.

The rider A'nos was still there? G'nar thought he was leaving. Ah well, G'nar couldn't help it if the man didn't want to leave his stall, he had some great pelts...Oh, so that's what he wanted "sure" he said simply, "if'n she clutches at all i'd be interested in an egg" He didn't really have an opinion about the atypicals they were just more dragons to clutch (perhaps) or fight, not a big deal to him. Jareth didn't either, unless a crimson decided to clutch, then she was no better than a Gold, they couldn't fight so why should he have to respect them, well he didn't, he didn't really care for firelizards either but at least they were more useful to him than the usual critters G'nar admired sometimes.

She thought for a moment and smiled. She really didn't want anyone in her weyr. Tatath and she were possessive like that. "I can pick it up later," she replied as she handed over the mark. Turning to A'nos, she gave a smile. "If you are not busy, care to walk to the food booths with me?"

"Well, that sounds like a deal I'd be glad to make, then," Linfon smiled back at the girl, glad that she was more interested in being a professional than she was in being a child (Faranth knew how someone like Linfon was to be expected to deal with children). "I'll take a half-dozen of the sweet dough and a mug of klah, then. Thank you." Brief and professional, but there was warmth to her voice. So this was what a gather in the Wherholds looked like - an undercurrent of violence, maybe, but still...pleasant. Not particularly different from the Telgar Gathers with which Linfon was better acquainted.
She dug an eighth-mark out of her pocket and handed it over. "And are you enjoying the Gather so far?" she asked the girl gently.
