Sadobitch Loona Wynd Sadobitch Ever heard of Stregheria? There is a Strega on Gaia. She and I have had some interesting discssions. If you are looking for information on Lucifer in Strega I'd suggest reading Aradia or the Gospel of the witches. Lucifer is an interesting charecter in Strega (short for Stregheria). I've read it many times and this is where my real concept of Lucifer comes from. I haven't really looked into much of the other Lucifer myths. You know, I actually have that text and an article written by Raven Grimassi whom even the egocentric Michael Ford, founder of the "Luciferian" path. ... (Excuse me while I vomit at the mention of Michael Ford.) Admits that Raven Grimassi is worth looking into and for that tradition of Lucifer it is better to look into Stregheria. I have been meaning to get around to it but my studies keep taking me elsewhere. I'd read the Aradia tale first. Then try and find Lelands other works on the subject.

Sadobitch Anyways, I have something similar. The Fates send me chaos then want me to sort through it. They usually do this when they feel it's time for some changes to be made. Sometimes, they just want to have some fun with me. When I sort through the chaos life presents to me. I don't want to say I get stronger per say... Since, I study and practice so I continually grow stronger. However, I do make sense of things thus I can see clearer. Lucifer is also a trickster at times. I have also questioned whether Lucifer was Loki but haven't been able to get a definitive answer. I certainly don't feel Lucifer is Enki. However, it would be safe to say Lucifer can also be called Phosphorous. The reason for the previous sentence being that the Romans took Phosphorous and decided to call him Lucifer. I've been looking into Lucifer's Pre-Christian roots somewhat recently. Ever heard of Stregheria? I don't recall Lucifer being a gender bending, trickster. Personally I would say there were more parallels between Loki and Lilith than between Loki and Lucifer. If you want to find Luficer's pre-christian roots you might want to start delving into Judaic lore. I know of Strega but nothing more.

Just be careful with Grimassi's texts I have some of them and those ones are rife with plagiarism and blatant copy-pasting. To the point where I can find the exact copy pasted paragraph in another book in my library.

That is one thing I do like about Michael Ford. He is nice enough to be VERY clear about where he's stolen his information from.

Awesome, thank you. And I feel you there lol. My altar used to consist of stacked cardboard boxes. I have upgraded to an old entertainment center. Since I don't own a tv nor do I want one it became my altar. What's Murray's full name?

Well I think that their is enough evil in the world without me adding to it. I try to use magick that doesn't harm anyone. However on occasion that just wasn't strong enough or it simply didn't work. That's when I turn to the darker magicks. I can say to this day I have never had to use flat out dark magick. I may have cast a powerful binding spell on the dark of the moon while calling Hecate but that was to keeps someone mouth shut and stop spreading lies after I confronted them. I think magick should be a booster not something you turn to first.

I think magick should be a booster not something you turn to first. Personally, I have found good and evil harder to define as I've gotten older. It's like... If I help someone, in the big picture how do I know I am not enabling them? If I harm someone, how do I know I am not helping them by giving them the bad karma before it piles up and gets worse? If I don't help them, how do I know I haven't screwed over someone I cared about? If I try to find a lighter alternative to dark magic such as binding? What if that isn't enough? What if they honestly mean to harm my family or loved ones? Ignore those questions after you've read the by the way. The point I was trying to make is that nothing is ever as simple as you think it might be at first glance. When each of us define our morals according to our environment and personal philosophies but each of us grow up in very different ways. This leaves the collective conscious to define good and evil which sometimes makes it hard to tell. Like, if you help someone fulfill a vice of theirs that's causing a problem in their life. Is that a form of evil? If you ignore their predicament, is that selfishness? Honestly, I feel like more of an observer when it comes to morals until it's someone I care about.

If someone is truly intent on physically harming you or family or whatever you call the police. If its spiritually you use protection magick. If its not enough then you have to decide for yourself. After all its your karma not mine. As for enabling someone you know if you give a diabetic person a candy bar because they wanted it that's bad. Ignoring them isn't selfish its keeping them alive. And sometimes ya gotta take the chance that what your doing is right according to your own moral code. However calling up spirits to strangle your neighbors first born because he stole your newspaper is an act of pure evil. Yes he harmed you but there are other ways to go about doing things without turning directly to magick whether dark or light.

I personally tend to have a different view on Karma since I feel it is good to do good but also bad to not retaliate when necessary. Then, I may have bad Karma, for not standing up for myself if that makes sense. I see black magic like throwing a punch, or firing a gun, depending on the severity. Does this person genuinely deserve this? Would you be able to stomach hurting them physically and be able to live with yourself? If so, then maybe it's time to consider darker magic. Now, this above example only works for some cases and highlights some of my own views more than anything. Sometimes, I find you simply need the right tools for the job. It would be nice if we only had to play nice but sometimes we have to get a little messy.
