Recently I've been doing a lot of trading/selling on Gaia Exchange and it earned me quite a lot of gold , sometimes even more than MP business . But recently a friend told me that instead of selling my game items I should use the in Alchemy. I think that's just a waste of time and gold, since the chances of actually creating an expensive item are pretty low. What do you think?
Also, is it fair to lower the price of an item when trading? One guy wanted to buy 9.6k worth flowers for 3.6k. When I complained he said he doesn't pay at LMP.

well, when vending, people tend to offer lower than the usual price in comparison to lmp, as well as abp. so in some cases, they won''t be fair; haggle with them. ask for a higher price, but not too high, taking abp and lmp into consideration.
i would just keep your gold and items. if you feel they are just a waste, then don't do it, unless you have a lot of luck. how do you get more than the mp in the exchange--people there usually lowball.

Thanks for the tip. smile I post a thread saying that I'm selling some game items. Then people come over and start bidding. I usually wait for a few days to get some better offers, 'cause sometimes they're willing to double the price of an item.
