Hi, my name is Professor Ariadne Morreau.

I'm a female.

I will be your Divination teacher.

I'm 32 years old.

My birthday is December 8.

My dream job is teaching the nearly-lost art of Divination. It took me several years to find an open position close to home, but here I am.

My blood status is halfblood.

The house I'm in is Aphrodite.

I'm interested in men.

I'm currently with no-one.

I may seem paranoid but I'm really easygoing.

My background story is a simple one. I could not decide what I wanted to be when I grew up, and so I haven't. I attended the primary school my mother had in France's public educational system until I received my letter from Beauxbatons, my father's secondary school. After graduating, I furthered my education to learn English and Norwegian, which I speak fluently, and learn more about parselmouths, which caused me to travel a great deal more than I'd have liked. I fell into a depression during my stay in Britain, and eventually returned home to work as a private tutor. Teaching, I realized, was a job I could take that let me explore my interests, inspire research into my interest fields and thoroughly enjoy daily--and, I was good at it. Four years ago, I landed a position teaching Divination at my old secondary school, Beauxbatons.

I enjoy mystery novels, imported tea, gentleman company, reading poetry, and learning.

I despise traveling (not on principle, but on discomfort), alcohol and other substances used to deaden the mind, poor cooking, lonely tasks, and being startled.

I'm afraid of the dark. My office, classroom and quarters are filled with enchanted lamps. Whenever I must walk alone at night, I request the company of a school ghost.

My strengths are deduction and linguistic elegance.

My flaws are a sharp tongue and a tendency to, despite all my observational skills, push people just a little further than I should and anger them.

I look like this.

My wand is a 9-inch elm wood with unicorn tail hair.

My pet is a small, intelligent mail owl.

Oh yes, there's something else I need to tell you! I have previously been a hired as a private tutor for Potions, English, and Norwegian. My employment history is public information and I am proud of my credentials. However, it is known only to our Headmistress that I am a parselmouth.
