The Si Wong Desert is an arid region located in the central Earth Kingdom. It is the largest, driest, and hottest desert in the World of Avatar, and due to the extreme climate, the region is almost impossible to successfully navigate. The desert is sparsely populated by Sandbender Tribes and beetle-headed merchants.
The Misty Palms Oasis is a small village located on the southwestern edge of the Si Wong Desert. Hosting a seedy cantina crowded with traders, soldiers, and wanderers of the Si Wong Desert, it is also frequented by sandbenders and beetle-headed merchants. This is the final stop to rest and buy or trade anything before venturing into the desert. As such, travelers often stop in this village to stock up on supplies
