Jeremiah 29:11, Deuteronomy 7:9, and John 3:16-21. I also like Matthew 5:13-16.

[.L.O.S.E.R.] shattered_souls1991 firey_faerie shattered_souls1991 firey_faerie The pastor at my cousin's church said that in his sunday school, they had to memorize bible verses. the easiest one was "he wept" or "Jesus wept" I forget if it's he or Jesus, but everyone did that one because it was the easiest to remember. That's really sad. *shakes head* Why is that sad? neutral I don't get it... it's sad that people couldn't be bothered to try learning an important verse that maybe ment something to them is what I'm saying. whee He was young, not really young, but young enough that he really don't like to memorize stuff, like every other kid his age, because they did it too. I'm sure I would have if I were their age, because at that age, you don't appreciate God as much as you do when you're older. they were too busy being kids. Ya i understand that. It took me until around the middle of grade 8 to really aprreciate God the way I do now.

It took me until around the middle of grade 8 to really aprreciate God the way I do now. Acutally, if you ask me, John 11:35 has a lot of meaning in it even though it's only two simple words. It is easy to remember, and I have this problem where everyone tells me crying is wrong. I can't hold the pain in and need to cry, and when people make me feel like I've done something wrong in crying that verse kind of helps me. If Jesus did no wrong, and Jesus cried, then crying must not be wrong. But that's just me...
