Divine_Malevolence
This is the author who decided to kill half the tower's population in the very first test as part of the very first test, and had Lahel be Lahel.
A nice ending seems far fetched at this point.
Though it could be something more like death. Have the heads of the ten great families get up there first and find out that it's the only thing in the tower they never achieved.
Well it's logical to kill off so many characters during that stage or the story would be too flooded. As it stands they have quite a few to juggle anyway.
Found the that particular betrayal twist to be unfortunately predictable, I was hoping for something a touch more deep. For example a grooming of Baam from the beginning (still haven't quite ruled that out) and the lovely annoyance was simply manipulated to draw him into that world. It still might be the case but I'm guessing it wont be revealed until the end if I'm correct.
Oh I'm pretty sure the large portion of the characters will be injured and a few of the mains will be killed off... however the majority will typically be shuffled off to a happy ending.
Death? Hummm the possibility has potential if rather than 'die' they get transformed into some sort of tower god and merged as part of a conciousness linked to the tower. Otherwise it would still be such an open ending... and those are excessively frustrating.
