Personality: Mayumi is a very quiet and reserved person. She is quite the loner and doesn't like large crowds. She tends to stay away from anything social like parties and such. She doesn't like people but if she must interact with them she will. The only reason for this is because she doesn't want to get close to anyone, that way it won't hurt so much when they betray her as humans usually do. Sometimes she can be rather cruel to people and doesn't think twice when someone challenges her. Yumi will give it her all, but usually does avoid fights, since it takes up too much of her energy and time. Somewhat detached from the world and wants it to stay that way. Though May is usually quiet, she can be sarcastic when she wants to. Some people call her bipolar, though, because she has serious mood swings where she can be cold at one minute and then the other extremely happy. In these somewhat happy moments, she is talkative and friendly only to then later want nothing to do with that said person. This is one of the reasons why she had trouble making friends, though, she hardly make any effort to do so. Although she may appear innocent, Mayumi is far from it. She will not hesitate to follow the orders given to her, no matter what they may be. She might regret the decision to do so later...but she will see it as something she had to do.

Brief biography: Mayumi grew up never knowing her actual parents. She was raised in a foster home most her life, never knowing what it was like to be a normal kid or a normal teenager for that matter. She went to a regular public school and was bullied there daily for not having her parents. The taunting words stabbed her heart and self-esteem but her face showed no expression. Showing emotion would only encourage them to do more than just throw insults at her. People knew they could bully her because she did nothing to stop them. Nothing but look down at her feet.

One day, though, Mayumi got tired of being let down and tortured in school and wondering why her family left her in foster care. She disappeared and decided to live her own life. She wandered around for a long time, never staying in one place for too long, until she came upon the Vandel family. They took the young girl under their wing and introduced her to the others. It was there that she learned that she possessed special abilities unlike any other. Arms could sprout from her back and she could control as if they were apart of herself...through many years of hard work and training, Mayumi finally gained control of her powers. She would do anything for the Vandel's, seeing as they are the only family she ever had, and she has sworn her loyalty to them ever since.

Any special abilities?: She is granted with the ability to control telekinetic extensions of herself. (Generally in the form of additional limbs) They are controlled naturally through both conscious thoughts and instinct, as if they were parts of her own body. These limbs are invisible, and their actual shape is variable, being generally based on the her main appendages like hands and arms.

Their number, reach and strength varies between users, but they remain invariably centered on their body. She can only control four arms at her skill. But their reach and strength are that of a master. Lifting objects up to a mass of nearly 400 tons and reaching as far as a couple hundred feet. These arms possess incredible strength, being capable of tearing apart, cutting and crushing extremely resilient materials like paper. They are also extremely fast and precise, following the user's thoughts instantly and exactly. They notably possess a perceptive aspect, allowing the user to instinctively sense things through them.

During a fight, they can be used to deflect most attacks with frightening re-activity, and obliterate most targets with stunning speed and power. They are also very useful to neutralize opponents, physically overpowering them in a heartbeat, and keeping them submissive in a multiple telekinetic grip, all while appearing calm and passive.

Other: Mayumi has a soft spot for children and almost acts motherly towards them.
