Roserie Winter was not interested in going to another one of her father's parties. It was something that she always disliked doing, though she knew that it was something, as a proper lady and her father's daughter, that she had to do for him. She disliked having to appear, but not being able to truly participate in what was going on in the room. As a proper lady, she isn't someone who is allowed to ask questions about anything in the buisness world. Her mother agreed in thinking that it's improper to ask a man what was going on inside their thoughts. A woman is not privlaged enough to know such things in life, only men are allowed to know their thoughts. It's why the men, after dessert, leave to go into the smoking room to chat and smoke, while the women are left to talk about whatever things their womaly minds would enjoy gossiping about at that moment. Roserie's intrest in things that go on in the buisness world hasn't earned her any friend's in her mother circle of older gentile ladies. It hasn't helped her much with too many ladies in her age group either. There are some ladies that agree with her. She often talks to them at parties, with them being well to do woman as well, and has had a few of them over in her room to talk about such things. Her mother allows her to have the other girls over for a night, though her father doesn't like it, her mother is VERY good at getting her father to change his mind about such things. Reminding her father that they have a proper well to do daughter and that Roserie would never to anything untoward, or things that would embaress the family name. Her mother was always her saving grace and her worst enemy at the same time.
Roserie finally decided that, perhaps, it was time to start getting ready. It was getting closer to time and she didn't have much else to do at the moment. She went over to her closet, opening the doors to take out the already choosen dress. Her mother had gone with her on a shopping trip to choose out an appropriate dress for the party. Something that her mother knew would be proper for a lady of her age and grace. The dress has a nice sweethear neckline that hugged her curves wonderfully. The sleeves are simply a nice drape of fabric, leaving her shoulders exposed and showing off her collarbone. The dress is form fitting and comes to a point where the fabric bunches and drapes wonderfully around the bottom half of her legs. The light pink is such a wonderful color, helping to show off the silver details in the embroidering. Roserie pulled the dress out of the closet, touching the wonderful fabric and letting it flow around her hands. She slowly dressed, not wanting to hurry along too much. As she completed her dressing she went over to her vanity to choose out the jewelry she would wear with her dress. It was something her mother hadn't chosen for her, though she was sure that that was not on purpose. Her mother liked everything to be perfect when they were having one of her father's parties. She looked over her jewelry carefully, finally deciding to go for a high diamond choker that she always adored. Her mother had told her that she wasn't allowed to wear it often. She knew that her mother might not like it, but she also knew that it matched this wonderful new dress perfectly.
Roserie perked up her ears, hearing her mother call to her. She walked into her parents large room, seeing her mother in her own beautiful gown. She always admired her mother's beauty, wanting to be just like her. Her beauty is something that she is striving to. She watched as her mother walked around her, inspecting her every inch. She always hated this part of getting ready. As she turned, she heard her mother sigh. Looking over at her, she was excited to see her mother nod approvingly at her. She couldn't believe her luck. Though she knew that she had to go and put on her make up before the party. Though she had been taught to put it on quickly and perfectly. Training her mother had given her through the years. She quickly went back to her own room, going back over to her vanity and sitting on her stool. She carefully and quickly put her makeup on. Looking into the mirror and deciding that it was perfect for the party. Deciding that she was ready for the party, she sat down on her couch to wait for the perfect time to go down to the party.

Antiquity Last looked into the full length mirror in his closet. He wondered which suit he should wear to this buisness party. This was his first time going to one of these buisness parties. He was also new to this particular buisness man's circle and didn't want to make a terrible impression on this particular crowd of people. His parents aren't as well off as the others who were attending this party. He had to make his own way in this difficuly buisness world. He was lucky that he was able to partner with who he was with now. He decided on a nice navy blue suit, pulling it out of his closet and putting it on. He wanted to make sure to look nice for this party. He looked into the top drawer of his chest, deciding on what cuff links he should use to go with his suit. He decided on some nice silver basic ones. He put them on and looked at himself in the mirror again. He decided that he liked what he saw. He was put together well and cordinated.
Antiquity sat down on his couch, wondering if he should eat something before leaving or not. Though he was sure that there would probably be plenty of things to eat at the party. He started to wonder how long was acceptable to stay at the party and not look like someone rude. Never having learned anything about proper party ettiqute. Not being raised in such a place that ever had parties such as these. He hoped that he wouldn't end up embarassing himself or end up making a fool of his buisness somehow. That was one thing that his parents warned him about when he ended up involved in buisness with these men. His father had told him that he would be expected to do more and be more. Personally, he didn't mind any of that. He enjoyed what he did and didn't mind having to work with the people that he was working with now. Even if he had to do everything better than he had been doing them. He wouldn't be in buisness now if he wasn't seen as someone who could get the job done.
Antiquity decided that it was time to head off. He needed to get there on time. He figured that at least one of the rules was that you were supposed to show up to the party on time. He walked out of his place and strolled down the street, heading directly to the big house where the party was. He hoped that there wouldn't be anything too awkward going on when he got there. He didn't want to end up being the first person there either.
