Ellis Island, Earth

The base was active as recruits from both Navy and Marines trained side by side. The Covenant war taught the UNSC a lesson. No man is above each other, and all need to be prepared for anything. Pelicans arrived and took off at the landing platforms just outside the base, bringing in raw recruits, and taking out fresh solders to their next destination. The base itself was active at all times, between combat simulations out in the field, or training in the buildings, registration at the welcoming center, or platoons of recruits marching or doing exercises, The base was as active an ant colony would be. From above, the base was nothing more then a few bunkers and a command center, but in actuality, it was an Underground base, with rooms for everything that was needed, and spacious enough to be an underground shelter.

The base was meant to feel like a training camp above ground, and a ship below, in order to simulate where the recruits would be going to when they graduate. The Command Center (building 3) is where all recruits would enter, starting their orientation, being issued their uniforms and being assign to their platoon quarters, where they would stay for the duration of their training days. This place was also where the offices were, and where they would find the Commanding Officer's Office. It would also be where the recruits graduation ceremony is held, where fresh raw recruits take their step to being a solder, and get their next assignment based on what they signed up for.

Bunker 1 will be the entrance to the platoon quarters, where recruits will be sleeping, showering, and eating. each platoon would have a total of 15 small rooms, with two beds, a terminal for access their personal mailing systems, so they may send and receive messages. these rooms have a large room at the end of section, a single large room that would be the bathroom, with an open shower to fit all recruits in the showers at once. There are 10 platoon rooms in all. All of them co-ed.

Bunker 2 houses the equipment the UNSC use and will train recruits in the use of the weapons. This building has several ranges as well as room with monitors where recruits will learn all they need to learn, such as operations, basic military tactics, military history, and intel on Insurrectionist, Covenant; both allies and enemies, and the Flood.
