A cup or two of water and a stale chunk of bread--he had begun to exhibit insatiable hunger, a marker of great spiritual power--were the only things left to keep him company during the chilling, lonely nights; it was a sign of their bitter tolerance and his increasingly demanding presence in their lives. They would return days later, enraged at his cries of loneliness, or that his weakness had caused a glass to tip, allowing the hard-earned liquid to seep into the moldy floor. His labored breathing, which carried on from his infancy, was ignored. This harsh treatment continued until they could take no more of his frailty; they left him on the dangerous streets to fend for himself, which colored his life from that day forward.
What Oleander's parents could not have known was that a remarkably rare, incurable genetic disease called Azrael's Breath was nestled amidst the roots of his issues, not a pallid personality or his premature birth. The two parents had unwittingly cursed their son with a perfectly imperfect pairing of genes, producing the savage and painful ailment whose side-effects caused them so much grief. The illness tricks his own flesh and blood into injuring his lungs by replacing naturally lost tissue--wear and tear that would usually cause no problems--with inherently hostile cells. These cells then degenerate more tissue, which starts the process again, turning this major organ into a self-destructive machine that gets worse the more it repairs itself unless a rehabiliter is worn. His ghostly, pale skin and fair complexion stem not only from his early birth but as well as later on in life, which severely impacted the development of his features during his formative years.
It was only after joining the ranks of the Gotei 13 and excelling in Kaido far beyond his peers--to the surprise of everyone, considering that his condition was only getting worse--that Oleander met the now-exiled Captain of the 4th Division, Osnaba Kiname. It was he who finally diagnosed the young Shinigami with Azrael's Breath. But even the extensive knowledge of the Seireitei could not cure such a deeply ingrained disorder. With the help of the former 12th Division Captain, a man who passed away two decades ago, Osnaba developed the now famous ventilator or M.A.S.K.I.N.G. that keeps Oleander from succumbing to the fatal condition. This development occurred forty-three years ago, and it gave Oleander the stability to make full use of his staggering spiritual power and rapidly climb to the rank of Captain, all within a few short months.
The device itself is such a staple of Oleander's appearance that only a select few have seen his face since its creation. Shrouded in mystery, only rumors remain of what he must look like after so many years of hiding beneath the metal ventilator. He was once considered quite attractive, although his pale skin and troubled demeanor made him difficult to approach, even then. Although two models have been made, they both cover the lower half of his face--from the bridge of his nose to beneath his chin--and continue around his cheeks and the back of his neck. The outer rim and features of the devices are always a deep purple, with a midnight black being chosen for the depressed, flat areas, neck-guards, and filters in order to contrast with the rest of the design. This color scheme was picked with aesthetics in mind.
The rest of Oleander's facial appearance matches almost perfectly with the ventilator--the function of its coloring. His royal purple eyes poke out beneath tufts of black hair like a man possessed by intent. These irises are colored so vividly and abnormally that many consider his stare not only the most intimidating in Soul Society, but the most memorable, as well; this impact is helped by the special black eyeliner, Gādo no Me, that he applies daily. The root of this feature is his powerful purple Reiatsu, which also seems to splice hues of the color into his medium length hair, although the midnight strands often hide it in darker lighting. His current cut lays it all down rather flat, with somewhat messy bangs and enough on the sides and back to reach down to the middle of his neck. Although his ears can only be seen if his hair is tucked behind them, some might notice that they are each pierced with three silver rings--one in the lobe and two just a bit higher--and that a matching studs rest in the middle of the scapha.
Although he stands at an average height of five feet and six inches, Oleander's physical presence and sleek body make him seem quite a bit taller than he actually is. His muscle structure, while toned and well-defined visually, is tightly wound around his hairless form like a wall of sun-bleached marble; there is no fat to be found anywhere, partially because of his intense, self-destructive training, and otherwise due to his sickness and over-clocked immune system. Although none dare think it now, many used to assume that this sickly yet chiseled figure could not produce as much power as bigger, healthier Shinigami. It took no time at all for Oleander to prove that his strength was not to be judged by his condition, and that his will to fight was stronger than his size could ever hope to contain.
Wardrobe | Oleander's uniform is riddled with a smattering of cuts, tears, gashes, and inconsistencies that lend a glimpse into a world where strife is commonplace and combat is a simple fact of life--this is true because of both personal reasons and the function of the 4th Division. Oleander believes that in order for a being to know how to kill they must know how to heal and visa versa. So in order to preach on what he teaches he, himself has gone through rigorous fighting training and combative measures. His black Shihakushō is entirely unaltered outside of the physical wear and tear that always seems to fray at edges and rip apart seams. Because it does not affect his abilities in combat one way or the other, he never found a reason to bring any outside sense of style into his brand of clothing, which has made him one of the more predictable Captains in regards to personal fashion. His haori, which he wears within normal regulations, is rarely in one piece; due to the fact that this man pours his heart out into healing others and rarely does he sleep therefore it is hard for him to keep his uniform in one utter piece for he is always on the move and working. Currently {After the "Rebirth"} Today Oleander is considered to be a childlike individual who happens to have a smile on his face almost all the time. Oleander would offer them a gamble so to speak. A full scale battle in which if they loose, Oleander will kill them. However if they win, Oleander will not kill them and leave them be or Oleander himself will die. It is said that during this process, if one has managed to push Oleander to the "Deathly Gamble" that Oleander 'reverts' back to his old sadistic and Morbid Nature. It has been noted that out of his gambles, Oleander has never lost and his target has always been killed. However this is the form he takes only when he is in a fight.
However, despite the fact that Oleander is the best healer the Seireitei has to offer and he is generally friendly to those who approach him even though he would not care about them. He does this so he can get people to talk to him, he has no true care for them. This only occurs though if he is not in battle. However it is revealed that he is also a bit of a loner up until he met the current Captain Commander, It can be assumed that he considers him to be his only real 'friend', if not the only person in Seireitei he genuinely cares about. This is known as the "Acting Oleander" or the "Mirror Oleander". This is the part where he seems like a saint. It is said this side of Oleander is seen the most especially within his job affiliations. This side of Oleander everyone seems to love and respect. Even children because people reverse this side of Oleander , the one who pushes himself so far without a care in a world about himself, as a saint.
However,In actuality, those close to Oleander see the true Oleander. The real Oleander is truly known as a dark, morbid, misunderstood type of person. Oleander when he is not acting is very quiet and stand offish. He refuses to talk to anyone until they have proven their "worth" so to speak. How Oleander judges this is how the person treats him. If they look down upon him, they will only see his demonic and cruel side. Although, when someone is nice to him, even though he is still portrayed as dark and morbid but he will actually interact with said person with more of his sadistic child personality {detailed above}. Although he despises them, Oleander is also very good with children during; no matter what village he had gone to, the children were always fond of him.
He has developed a new-found hatred and "knowledge". Oleander is a very wise being for his age, and quite deceptive. Oleander has devised cunning plans to destroy enemies, although he went about it in strange ways. He never gets intimidated by any one and he is always bold whenever he faces them. Refusing to die alone is an aspect, which causes a portion of his sadistic and weird behavior, that is suppressed in the dark corner of his heart. These emotions still scare him and fuel his fears but Oleander never lets anyone see them. Oleander is always calm and collected. He is very tricky to understand about his methods or actions that he does perform.
In general this means. Oleander acts like a sadistic young child when in confrontation. Although at times he is much of a saint. It is hard to tell. However, in actuality he is lonely, isolated, and full of deep sorrow. It is because of his true sorrow and isolation that developed this morbid personality. It is also because of this sorrow that he gained the idea that has been stated, "I am nothing but the shadows that consume the light. I am nothing but the clouds that block the sun. I consume hope and leave sorrow. I am the rain that falls and flood the world of pain. This is why exist. This is my reason for living. I am nothing but an amassing clouds that will soon block all rays of reality."
If one where to see both sides of his personality, there would seem to be no mixture or true philosophical end. However there are certain qualities that never change about Oleander. No matter how he truly is or how he "acts". Oleander, since acting like that of a child, is really found of games. His two favorite games are that of chess and the game known as "Shinda". A game of his own invention. To get through life, Oleander down to his core believes life is a game. A giant game of chess on a more massive scale. However, the rules fairly explain that there is always a bigger or more complicated game going on. Meaning in the rules of "Shinda", you could be a Queen in one "round" , then a "pawn" in the next, or even perhaps so insignificant that you weren't a piece at all. This is morbid yet cruel aspect or ideal is the exactly on how he views the "nature". A game that he is always meant to loose.
The second quality that will never change is his look of the dead. He believes deep down inside that no one has no right to speak of the ill. Even though it is said when he acts like his real self he shows no care for anyone who is alive, which is true besides the exception for the Captain Commander, it is said that he becomes a entirely different person when a being has died. It is said when a soul or demon dies no matter the life or game in this case that they chose to play, Oleander will always feel sympathy and love for those who have died. Oleander was born in the early times of what would be known as Tokyo, Japan. Oleander was born into the Kagemiya family. Oleander was born to Hirashumi and Naraku along with his 3 older sisters Arumi, Momo, and Izoi. Oleander was a unique child who had different ideas or choices than other boys. He never wanted to play sports as a young child nor did he ever want to do the “traditional male offerings” that his father tried to push down his throat. Ideally it was because the way of Oleander's father attitude towards his own son that drove Hirashumi and Naraku apart. After the divorce was finally decreed, Hirashumi was granted custody of Momo, Izoi, and Oleander while Arumi was now by the age of 18 so she chose to live on her own from that point and Oleander never saw her again.
As a young child Oleander was very found of his sisters Izoi and Momo and coveted what they had. When the middle school years came around Oleander blossomed even more into his “unique” ways of life but now other kids started to notice his weirdness and started to pick on him. When Oleander would return home from school and told his sisters what happened, they would just tell him that he would need to be himself and that is all that mattered. Oleander took this advice to heart and the next day he wore fingernail polish to school Of course he was picked on but what happened after school is what would be the worst even to occur in Oleander's life.
When Oleander began to walk home from school to meet his sisters a group of high school boys rattled Oleander up by pushing him and shoving him in different directions. Of course with all of this physicality and force that was put on Oleander, he began to cry which in turn made the high school kids push and shove harder. At last Oleander was shoved but before another kid could get a hold of him, the force that Oleander was shoved on forced him into a busy street where he was hit by a car at the mere age of twelve thus ending his short human life.

Zanpakutō Activation Statement | Corrupt, Yudoku-Shin Zanpakutō Blade Changes | The blade pulsates until the blade fades black. The blade also grows three ribbon tails all extending from the hilt by one meter. One in which is a lavender shade. Another of a deep purple. While the last one is a faded indigo. Shikai Abilities Shintaihason {Bodily Corruption} (身体の破損) The weapon itself is covered in a waxy like substance. This poison acts like the venom of a spider bite; when an opponent is stabbed by Yudoku-Shin, it severs the brain signals controlling the neural impulses for movement in the limbs of the victim. However, unlike regular paralysis, the pain receptors and nerve endings are unaffected by the weapon, so the victim can still feel pain, even in a paralyzed limb. This move also implants a dormant or "sleeping virus" into a host body. If the virus is not awakened within five post, the virus will dissipate and become nullified. This virus will only awaken when certain stipulations are met. However, if those stipulations are not met then the virus is harmless. ~This takes a total of 2 post to circulate and take effect. Once in effect it is frozen for three whole post then it recovers in a single post. Atsuryokuhason {Pressure Corruption} (圧力の破損) This poison is based off of Yudoku-Shin's spiritual pressure. This poison eats away at the rashi and spiritual energy of all of those who enter Yudoku-Shin's spiritual pressure besides Oleander. However this pressure only reaches 10 ft. around Yudoku-Shin's holder. Those who are effected will feel an uneasy or queasy feeling. ~If one enters this pressure the poison eats gradually away at the spiritual energy per post. However when on exits the pressure they regain a half life of what is taken, so after the first exit one would only regain half of it. However what makes this ability tricky the percentage is doubled every time per-re entry. Meaning if someone enters the pressure again they will loose double what they originally lost but regain double what they had originally gained back and this process continues until the end of Shikai. However if one manages to be to be in the swords length, striking distance, or grabs or is pierced by the sword the poison is not in effect. Also if one manages to grab the sword itself, the energy slowly restores itself. If one manages to have a grip on the sword for two post, all energy that was eaten away will be restored. Chihason {Blood Corruption} (血の破損) This ability allows Yudoku-Shin to produce microscopic mist from the handle that is absorbed by Oleander's skin through his pores and infiltrates his blood stream that contaminates his whole body within three post after activation of his Shikai. However the poison does not hurt Oleander because Oleander is aware of all Yudoku-Shin's poisons and has filled his body with vaccines that allows him to host the poisons but not be effected by them. If Oleander manages to infect another target with his blood the poison will start to take effect. ~Once the poison flows into the blood stream, it will take 1 post to circulate throughout the body and then it begins to take effect. This poison cuts off the Nero-Sensors themselves and cuts off the sense of sight temporarily. After a 2 post from circulation one would loose the ability to see for two post with a one post recovery rate. However, if one manages to hold the blade of Yudoku-Shin, the ability will cancel itself out. Chakurahason {Chakra Corruption} (チャクラの破損) This move is in fact the second move, to Bodily Corruption. This ability is in fact the ability of the dormant virus. There are in fact two ways to activate it. However, depending on the way it is activated, the virus when awakened can either save a life or claim a life. The first way to activate this virus is through Oleander's hands. If Oleander concentrates on his rashi and focus it into his hands and place his hands on a being who has already been cut and or pricked by Yudoku-Shin, the virus will awaken in a form that is known as Tengokuhason. {Heavenly Corruption}. If the virus is mixed with Oleander's rashi and awakens in this form the virus will re-attach itself to the hosts body cells and begin to replicate the actual cells of the host body at an immense speed. Meaning if this occurs all physical wounds would heal at a very fast rate. Small wounds would be healed in a single post. Deep wounds in Two Post. Deadly Wounds can not be fully healed but they can be reverted to a state where the host would not be in any immediate danger. Meaning it reverts Deadly wounds back to deep wounds or small wounds. Depending on the type of wound. This process takes three post. However, this ability only works with physical wounds. It can not heal wounds that are illusion or 'paranormal' based. Zanjutsu | Oleander is average in the way of the blade. However, his abilities with his blade stands out on par with top tier captains among the Gotei. Being ambidextrous, he's able to engage in combat with either hand and exceeds in the fighting style of Kando Hakuda | His weakest area, though being proficient in it this is something Oleander would rather not engage in. The only reason he's even slightly capable in Hakuda is because of his prodigy stature of being one of the youngest in all of Soul Society to train under captainship. As such, his skills are befitting for that of a captain and no further. Hohō | Being above average, this is Oleander's third highest skill field. Of course, he's not as versed as the second division captain in prowess, but in terms of raw potential his growth with Shunpo and following abilities is far above the rest of the Gotei. At best, he's able to utilize at a level of someone who's an expert in the skill, but not yet a master. -Hohō Abilities
~Dashing~ A most basic technique that allows the user to throw him/herself to a certain direction using a certain angle of which way the the stance is directed and executed. Based on an individual's atributes, dashing can be quite a moderately fast move instead of running. Also depending on the distance, dashing can be quite useful if in closer range to the opponent. This technique is basically for all ranks.
~Furikkā (Flicker step)~ This technique was created by soldiers and officers after seeing how lieutenants and captains had a technique that allows them to move faster than the eye can follow, after studying Shunpo the soldiers and officers came up with this technique similar to Shunpo but different from it as well. Similar to Shunpo, a movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. This technique requires a very high level of training, thus a most difficult one to obtain. One, who is of a high soldier ranking, must be able to possess Furikkā. Furthermore, not like Shunpo this technique is only for short-range but none the less it is a speed known to be the exceeding ability than dashing. For soldiers it is nearly mastered, yet not perfect. Therefore, a soldier can only move 1-3 feet with this step. For officers Furikkā is fully perfected and move 1-6 feet with this step. Once lieutenant rank they loose this ability and gain Shunpo.
~Senkaimon~ (穿界門, World Penetration Gate) is the dimensional gateway which Shinigami use to enter and leave Soul Society by unlocking it. When guided by a Jigokuchō, the Senkaimon takes the form of a waiting room entered through a sliding door. Humans can also use such a gate through the use of Reishihenkanki (霊子変換 機, Spirit Exchangers), which convert solid matter into spirit particles.
~Shunpo (Flash-Step)~ A movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. This technique requires a very high level of training, thus a most difficult one to obtain. One, who is of a high lieutenant ranking, must be able to possess Shunpo. Furthermore, it is a most fearsome mid-range/long-range speed known to be the exceeding ability than dashing. All in all, this ability can only be used by lieutenants and captains. For lieutenants it is nearly mastered, yet not perfected. Therefore, it is only of mid-range level 1. For captains Shunpo is of a level 2 maximum ability in which it is fully perfected for both mid-range and long-range.
~Air Walk~ Another skill, though not necessarily related, is the Soul Reaper ability to walk on air using spiritual energy. By collecting and solidifying spiritual particles beneath their feet, Soul Reapers can gain traction on thin air to either freely move about or to stop themselves from falling. This particular ability can only be obtained from officer level. Furthermore, it cannot necessarily be used every so often, especially for officers. It is an ability that can only be temporarily used but cannot last for a very long period of time. However, for lieutenants, they can stay on air for quite a bit longer and for captains, it can be held for quite a long while considering the great amount of riatsu within a captain ranking individual.
~Senka (Flash Blossom)~ Although Shunpo is connected with this ability, this technique possess a unique name and style of its own. This technique is known as Senka (闪花, Flash Blossom), a flash step combined with a spin to quickly move behind the enemy, followed by a strike aimed to destroy the saketsu chain and the hakusui soul sleep with a combination of two quick thrusts. This technique is one of the two, that Youruichi developed mixing Shunpo to complete its ability. Furthermore, only certain individuals, of high ranking captain level can possess such an ability.
~Utsusemi~ This technique is one of the most difficult speed abilities of them all. Furthermore, this is also one of the two, that Youruichi developed as well. It is the 4 ways of the Shihou through Shunpo which is also known as "Utsusemi". It's ability is a speed known to be so fast that the user leaves an afterimage of him/herself. Its affect is most absolute, superb, and flawless if ever fully perfected. And to be more specific, Utsusemi's speed is so fast, that the enemy can practically feel and touch the physical body of the afterimage and not even know the very fact that it is nothing more but an afterimage. Its very image can easily deceive the eyes of the enemy. This technique is very rare, thus few captains are able to possess such a flawless ability. Furthermore it is most lethal when combining Senka after Utsusemi is executed.
Durability | While not being a steel wall, Oleander is able to take a severe beating and get back up again. His body has grown accustomed to constant barrages of high spiritual force from constantly having to heal captain class shinigami after battles. However, if one manages to rip his M.A.S.K.I.N.G. off, then his prowess go out the window and he becomes frail. Almost weaker than a solder of the Gotei 13 Court Guard Squads. Reiryoku | His Spiritual Pressure is said to be very large and "ominous". Even before he became a Shinigami, his spiritual pressure was immense and uncontrollable, and caused people around him to feel uneasy or on the 'edge', namely his mother, who lived with him at the time. Not only this, his spiritual pressure gives of the presence of complete and total sorrow. Like that of one who has endured nothing but pain and tragedy. This ominous spiritual power of his reflects his attitude as well. He is able to hide his presence well; on several occasions he manages to surprise other captains with his sudden appearances, which leads them to complain about him "sneaking up" on them. However, he has fully capability to completely hide his pressure away. He does this at most times. It is rare to feel the full prowess of Oleander's pressure.

Appearance:Oleander Kagemiya, the child of a Rukongai couple struggling for mouthfuls of water in the slums, was cursed from the moment of conception to lead an existence balanced on the tragic precipice of life and death. A premature birth by nearly seven weeks brought him into Soul Society both significantly underdeveloped and so pale that he appeared to be stillborn. The midwife who delivered him famously called him the "ghost-child". His quiet but enduring wails and chilling, milk-white tears--symbols of his painful future--fell upon the deaf ears and ashamed eyes of his parents; the sadness sunk into his unwashed cheeks as the struggle of poverty continued on. Still, he lived, much to the surprise of the fearful and shallow couple. The unwanted child was a mark of inconvenience on their own quest for basic survival. Concerns over clean water, keeping a patched roof, and hiding from the parasitic gangs that infested the area tainted their minds with stress and suspicion. A tragic, common practice had Oleander's father holding a cupped hand tightly over cracked lips, suffocating his own son to avoid detection from armed men looking for rent or carelessly owed money. Such was his fate, and the unfortunate, socially downtrodden, and ethically deformed lifestyle continued for many years.
Once he had aged a bit, Oleander's parents began the practice of leaving him alone in their sparsely lit, one-room home for days at a time. A cup or two of water and a stale chunk of bread--he had begun to exhibit insatiable hunger, a marker of great spiritual power--were the only things left to keep him company during the chilling, lonely nights; it was a sign of their bitter tolerance and his increasingly demanding presence in their lives. They would return days later, enraged at his cries of loneliness, or that his weakness had caused a glass to tip, allowing the hard-earned liquid to seep into the moldy floor. His labored breathing, which carried on from his infancy, was ignored. This harsh treatment continued until they could take no more of his frailty; they left him on the dangerous streets to fend for himself, which colored his life from that day forward.
What Oleander's parents could not have known was that a remarkably rare, incurable genetic disease called Azrael's Breath was nestled amidst the roots of his issues, not a pallid personality or his premature birth. The two parents had unwittingly cursed their son with a perfectly imperfect pairing of genes, producing the savage and painful ailment whose side-effects caused them so much grief. The illness tricks his own flesh and blood into injuring his lungs by replacing naturally lost tissue--wear and tear that would usually cause no problems--with inherently hostile cells. These cells then degenerate more tissue, which starts the process again, turning this major organ into a self-destructive machine that gets worse the more it repairs itself unless a rehabiliter is worn. His ghostly, pale skin and fair complexion stem not only from his early birth but as well as later on in life, which severely impacted the development of his features during his formative years.
It was only after joining the ranks of the Gotei 13 and excelling in Kaido far beyond his peers--to the surprise of everyone, considering that his condition was only getting worse--that Oleander met the now-exiled Captain of the 4th Division, Osnaba Kiname. {Who took Captainship after Unohana's Death} It was he who finally diagnosed the young Shinigami with Azrael's Breath. But even the extensive knowledge of the Seireitei could not cure such a deeply ingrained disorder. With the help of the former 12th Division Captain, a man who passed away two decades ago, Osnaba developed the now famous ventilator or M.A.S.K.I.N.G. that keeps Oleander from succumbing to the fatal condition. This development occurred forty-three years ago, and it gve Oleander the stability to make full use of his staggering spiritual power and rapidly climb to the rank of Captain, all within a few short months.

Shrouded in mystery, only rumors remain of what he must look like after so many years of hiding beneath the metal ventilator. He was once considered quite attractive, although his pale skin and troubled demeanor made him difficult to approach, even then. Although two models have been made, they both cover the lower half of his face--from the bridge of his nose to beneath his chin--and continue around his cheeks and the back of his neck. The outer rim and features of the devices are always a deep purple, with a midnight black being chosen for the depressed, flat areas, neck-guards, and filters in order to contrast with the rest of the design. This color scheme was picked with aesthetics in mind.

Shikai Incantation:Corrupt, Yudoku-Shin Shikai Appearance: The blade pulsates until the blade fades black. The blade also grows three ribbon tails all extending from the hilt by one meter. One in which is a lavender shade. Another of a deep purple. While the last one is a faded indigo Shikai Abilities: Since Oleander does not have a Bankai. I thought it would be approvable to have more Shikai Abilities. If this is not approvable please let me know.
Shikai Abilities Shintaihason {Bodily Corruption} (身体の破損) The weapon itself is covered in a waxy like substance. This poison acts like the venom of a spider bite; when an opponent is stabbed by Yudoku-Shin, it severs the brain signals controlling the neural impulses for movement in the limbs of the victim. However, unlike regular paralysis, the pain receptors and nerve endings are unaffected by the weapon, so the victim can still feel pain, even in a paralyzed limb. This move also implants a dormant or "sleeping virus" into a host body. This virus will only awaken when certain stipulations are met. However, if those stipulations are not met then the virus is harmless. ~This takes a total of 2 post to circulate and take effect. Once in effect it is frozen for five whole post then it recovers in 2 post. Atsuryokuhason {Pressure Corruption} (圧力の破損) This poison is based off of Yudoku-Shin's spiritual pressure. This poison eats away at the rashi and spiritual energy of all of those who enter Yudoku-Shin's spiritual pressure besides Oleander. However this pressure only reaches 10 ft. around Yudoku-Shin's holder. Those who are effected will feel an uneasy or queasy feeling. ~If one enters this pressure the poison eats away at a 2% a post. However when on exits the pressure they regain a half life of what is taken, so after the first exit one would only regain 1% back. However what makes this ability tricky the percentage is doubled every time per-re entry. Meaning if someone enters the pressure again they will loose 4% and regain two and this process continues until the end of Shikai. However if one manages to be to be in the swords length, striking distance, or grabs or is pierced by the sword the poison is not in effect. Chihason {Blood Corruption} (血の破損) This ability allows Yudoku-Shin to produce microscopic mist from the handle that is absorbed by Oleander's skin through his pores and infiltrates his blood stream that contaminates his whole body within three post after activation of his Shikai. However the poison does not hurt Oleander because Oleander is aware of all Yudoku-Shin's poisons and has filled his body with vaccines that allows him to host the poisons but not be effected by them. If Oleander manages to infect another target with his blood the poison will start to take effect. ~Once the poison flows into the blood stream, it will take 1 post to circulate throughout the body and then it begins to take effect. This poison cuts off the Nero-Sensors themselves and cuts off all five senses temporarily. After 2 post from circulation post one would loose the sense of smell. Following by taste, touch, sight, and hearing with 2 post between each loss. One will succumb to total isolation for one post then regains all senses in the same fashion and order as the lost them. {2 post order} Chakurahason {Chakra Corruption} (チャクラの破損) This allows Yudoku-Shin to infuse her rachi based poison with Oleander's energy or rachi based attacks. The only two known attacks are the Shield and the actual Crescent Wave attack. These moves eat away at rachi based attacks they come into contact with. Meaning they will completely eat away weak attacks and only minimize the damage from strong or massive attacks Seruhason {Cell Corruption} (セルの破損) This move is in fact the second move, to Bodily Corruption. This ability is in fact the ability of the dormant virus. There are in fact two ways to activate it. However, depending on the way it is activated, the virus when awakened can either save a life or claim a life. The first way to activate this virus is through Oleander's hands. If Oleander concentrates on his rashi and focus it into his hands and place his hands on a being who has already been cut and or pricked by Yudoku-Shin, the virus will awaken in a form that is known as Tengokuhason. {Heavenly Corruption}. If the virus is mixed with Oleander's rashi and awakens in this form the virus will re-attach itself to the hosts body cells and begin to replicate the actual cells of the host body at an immense speed. Meaning if this occurs all physical wounds would heal at a very fast rate. Small wounds would be healed in a single post. Deep wounds in Two Post. Deadly Wounds in three post. However, this ability only works with physical wounds. It can not heal wounds that are illusion or 'paranormal' based. Oleander has been ordered by the Head Captain that he can not have use his Bankai at any given point and time for its prowess is way to deadly of an aspect. Therefore not many know about Oleander's Bankai.
Personality: Previous {Before the "Rebirth"} In the past, Oleander was nothing like he is currently. In the past he was known to be a violent fighter, Oleander lived for battle, and enjoyed a good fight more than anything. He even held back in an effort to make any fight last longer. He used to claim that injury and death are nothing but the price one pays for a good fight. Despite his tendency to be brutal, Oleander was known to usually stop a fight if his opponent is too injured to fight back, claiming he is not interested in fighting "weaklings who can't fight anymore", and he did not feel obligated to deal a death blow to anyone who could not stand up to his level. However, he will unhesitatingly kill his opponent if they refuse to end their fight, "The Venomous Flower".
On multiple occasions, Oleander was shown to greatly respect those who can defeat him in a fight and those who can push him to his limit. Ever since the current Captain Commander handed him his first known loss, Oleander has considered her a great idle and still respects him to this day. It was said that Oleander also contradicted his own logic in fighting. On the one hand, Oleander wished to increase his own personal power. On the other hand, he had concealed his strength to enjoy a fight for as long as possible. Oleander used to strongly believe fun comes before working. In every battle, he tries to get as much enjoyment out of it as possible
Currently {After the "Rebirth"} Today Oleander is considered to be a childlike individual who happens to have a smile on his face almost all the time. Though, in battle or when on a mission, he happens to be quite ruthless and dangerous. He is extremely deadly and sadistic in battle. How his battle tactics work. Oleander would offer them a gamble so to speak. A full scale battle in which if they loose, Oleander will kill them. However if they win, Oleander will not kill them and leave them be or Oleander himself will die. It is said that during this process, if one has managed to push Oleander to the "Deathly Gamble" that Oleander 'reverts' back to his old sadistic and Morbid Nature. It has been noted that out of his gambles, Oleander has never lost and his target has always been killed. However this is the form he takes only when he is in a fight.
However, despite the fact that Oleander is the best healer the Seireitei has to offer and he is generally friendly to those who approach him even though he would not care about them. He does this so he can get people to talk to him, he has no true care for them. This only occurs though if he is not in battle. However it is revealed that he is also a bit of a loner up until he met the current Captain Commander, It can be assumed that he considers him to be his only real 'friend', if not the only person in Seireitei he genuinely cares about. This is known as the "Acting Oleander" or the "Mirror Oleander". This is the part where he seems like a saint. It is said this side of Oleander is seen the most especially within his job affiliations. This side of Oleander everyone seems to love and respect. Even children because people reverse this side of Oleander , the one who pushes himself so far without a care in a world about himself, as a saint.
However,In actuality, those close to Oleander see the true Oleander. The real Oleander is truly known as a dark, morbid, misunderstood type of person. Oleander when he is not acting is very quiet and stand offish. He refuses to talk to anyone until they have proven their "worth" so to speak. How Oleander judges this is how the person treats him. If they look down upon him, they will only see his demonic and cruel side. Although, when someone is nice to him, even though he is still portrayed as dark and morbid but he will actually interact with said person with more of his sadistic child personality {detailed above}. Although he despises them, Oleander is also very good with children during; no matter what village he had gone to, the children were always fond of him.
He has developed a new-found hatred and "knowledge". Oleander is a very wise being for his age, and quite deceptive. Oleander has devised cunning plans to destroy enemies, although he went about it in strange ways. He never gets intimidated by any one and he is always bold whenever he faces them. Refusing to die alone is an aspect, which causes a portion of his sadistic and weird behavior, that is suppressed in the dark corner of his heart. These emotions still scare him and fuel his fears but Oleander never lets anyone see them. Oleander is always calm and collected. He is very tricky to understand about his methods or actions that he does perform.
In general this means. Oleander acts like a sadistic young child when in confrontation. Although at times he is much of a saint. It is hard to tell. However, in actuality he is lonely, isolated, and full of deep sorrow. It is because of his true sorrow and isolation that developed this morbid personality. It is also because of this sorrow that he gained the idea that has been stated, "I am nothing but the shadows that consume the light. I am nothing but the clouds that block the sun. I consume hope and leave sorrow. I am the rain that falls and flood the world of pain. This is why exist. This is my reason for living. I am nothing but an amassing clouds that will soon block all rays of reality."
If one where to see both sides of his personality, there would seem to be no mixture or true philosophical end. However there are certain qualities that never change about Oleander. No matter how he truly is or how he "acts". Oleander, since acting like that of a child, is really found of games. His two favorite games are that of chess and the game known as "Shinda". A game of his own invention. To get through life, Oleander down to his core believes life is a game. A giant game of chess on a more massive scale. However, the rules fairly explain that there is always a bigger or more complicated game going on. Meaning in the rules of "Shinda", you could be a Queen in one "round" , then a "pawn" in the next, or even perhaps so insignificant that you weren't a piece at all. This is morbid yet cruel aspect or ideal is the exactly on how he views the "nature". A game that he is always meant to loose.
The second quality that will never change is his look of the dead. He believes deep down inside that no one has no right to speak of the ill. Even though it is said when he acts like his real self he shows no care for anyone who is alive, which is true besides the exception for the Captain Commander, it is said that he becomes a entirely different person when a being has died. It is said when a soul or demon dies no matter the life or game in this case that they chose to play, Oleander will always feel sympathy and love for those who have died. This is the only time when Oleander will show anyone true compassion. Thus earning his current alias as "The Guardian of the Dead."
