Welcome to Environmental Studies. This class is open to all students, regardless of their year. The class is taught by the lovely Zila Lochness. So please sit down, open your books and prepare to learn. Also some classes will be taught outside. I hope everyone likes field trips.  The is your teacher Zila Lochness

As instructed Kurai went to his teacher's classroom. He didn't entirely know what to expect of this class but since she took time out of her day to try and cheer him up he'd attend. Having his book as well as a notebook he sat at one of the desks near the windows. He ran his hand through his silky black hair and let out a soft sigh. He didn't hear the ghost's voice at the moment which was a good thing. He wasn't going to have to worry about his madness kicking in for a while since it had it's moment.

Fighting theme: Egg Dragoon Normal theme: Hiru no Tsuki Zila entered the classroom carrying a few books and supplies. She set her stuff down at her desk and began writing of the blackboard. She wrote down her name and the title of the class on the board. She dusted off her hands and looked at the students in class. She frowned slightly when she noticed the majority of the class was missing. Zila just assumed that the students were running late. She grabbed a piece of paper and began reading off the role. " Good morning class and welcome to environmental studies. Shall we begin with a quick roll call. Just raise your hand if you are present, Justin, Novac, Amber, Kurai." After she was done with her role call she began her lesson. " Now can anyone tell me what environmental studies is all about? Well if no one will answer me I will just have to call on you at random. How about ... lets see Kurai. Do you know what environmental studies are all about?"

After raising his hand he waited on her to get done as he sighed softly. Wondering why he was in this class other than her asking him nicely to attend. "Environmental studies have to do with the studies of certain habitats as well as creatures that inhabit them?" He stated as well as almost asking at the same time. He wasn't to sure to be honest but he was giving a try and that's what mattered wasn't it?

xxxxx"Is this the place?" Christopher muttered when he neared a class room door. His hand moved forward and grasped the doorknob. Chris paused for a moment, weighing the pro's and con's of entering the class before making a decision. With a single, fluid movement he turned the knob and opened the door.
xxxxxThe second he was inside, Christopher felt the presences of two people instantly. One weapon and one.... demon? Or at least it felt like a demon's soul. He wasn't really sure. But if it was a demonic soul, then of course Lord Death had to know of the creature. Which would mean that there would be a reason for it. His one good eye narrowed slightly, not even enough to be noticeable.
xxxxxChristopher smiled and waved to the teacher. "Hello! Is this the Environmental Science class?" He asked, hoping that he has finally reached the end of his search.

She waited until he was done giving his answer before correcting him. " Well aren't you an enthusiastic fellow. Very good Kurai. You did however leave out a one part." She said cheerfully. Zila paused when another student entered the classroom. She glanced at the boy, who was now late for class. Zila truly hated people being tardy for her class but judging by the young man's question he must have been new. She made a gesture with her hands motioning for the boy to enter the class. " Welcome, this is not Environmental science but you are properly looking for Environmental studies. This is the only environmental class taught here at the academy. I am instructor Zila Lochness and what might your name be?" Zila grabbed her clipboard, which was on the desk she was sitting on. She retrieved a pen that she hid between her cleavage and checked him off the attendance, once he gave her his name. " Please have a seat anywhere you would like. I just explaining the meaning behind Environmental studies. Ok class along with what Mr. Kurai said earlier environmental studies is the study of human interaction in the environment. Now you may ask yourself what does this have to do with you? Well the environment you are in affects not only yourself but your partner as well. Battle plans are affected, mission objectives are affected, and even synchronizing with your partner can be affected by the environment you inhabit. The skills that you learn in this class may save your life one day. So pay close attention because you have a lot to learn." She said to the class.

xxxxxChristopher let out a sigh of relief when the teacher confirmed that it was indeed the class he was searching for, even if he got the name wrong. When she asked him his name, Chris was so deep in thought by that time that he forgot what the answer was for a moment. The raven haired teen snapped his fingers when he remembered what to say. "Oh! Chistopher Xenon. It's nice to meet you Ms. Lochness. Or is it Missus?" He asked curiously.
xxxxxChristopher shrugged and took his seat as she explained what Environmental Studies was. 'So that weapon's name is Kurai... Interesting. But he isn't the demon,' he thought, looking at the few students that were seated in the room. Chris thought of activating his Soul Perception, but decided against it because if he were caught up in scanning the souls in the room, he might miss some important bit of information or something like that.
xxxxx"What exactly do you mean when you say it can affect when we can synchronize with out partner? Do you mean that in a sense that affects the resonance itself, or the way you fight with your partner?" Christopher asked, looking at Zila once again. "Because I really don't understand how the environment could affect the former. The latter I can understand, but not the resonance rate."

Kurai was still speaking as she came to sit upon his desk. He didn't mind it at all as he was close to being dragged into his own little world again. That was until a boy came in asking if this was the right class which brought him back to reality. As he listened to the two talk he sighed heavily as he began to draw in his notebook. As he zoned out while drawing waiting for his name to be called he never realized that he was drawing his former meister.

xxxxxChristopher waited for the teacher's response silently, but his eyes drifted towards the Weapon in the room, who was drawing. Chris wondered what he was drawing and peered over his shoulder at the paper. A person? Yes. It was a person. But who? Sibling? Parent? Old flame? Friend? Meister? Without asking the kid, there were literally infinite answers to whom the picture displayed.
xxxxxChristopher's ears perked up when he heard some noise outside. He quickly got up and strode over to the window. Peering out the glass, his eyes widened slightly and he grinned. There was a fight going on out near the front gates, and fights were usually dangerous. Christopher's need for danger overcame his senses and he ran out the door.
xxxxx"I'll be back tomorrow. I have to go somewhere!" The dark headed meister yelled to the teacher when he was outside the classroom. With that, Chris ran to the doors to the school and out those as well, looking for the fight taking place outside.

To answer your question Christopher I was referring to the actual environment affecting the resonance rate. It may sound rather odd to you but trust me it makes perfect sense." Zila hoped off of her desk and walked to the black board. She grabbed a worn piece of chalk and began drawing a diagram for the class. She explained her theory as she wrote the notes for the students. A few of the students were truly amazed by the information, while others were completely lost and confused. Zila sighed when she saw a few of the students were lost . She explained it again at a slower pace for the lost students. Suddenly Christopher ran out of the room. " Hey wait a minute." She yelled. Zila was upset that one of her students ran out on her. She would have to make sure that she disciplined Christopher the next time she saw him.

As the kid ran out of the classroom he sighed heavily as this was starting to irritate him. However his teacher had something about her that seemed to calm him a bit. His eyes narrowed as he began to think about this and began to wonder what exactly she was. Was she a weapon like him that understood pain? Was that how she was able to calm him so quickly and bring him back to the class. "I don't think he honestly cares Ms. Lochness." Kurai said as he began looking out the window after he finished the drawing of his previous meister. His head began to feel as if it was about to explode as he held a hand to it. It was like a migraine from hell and he didn't understand what this was about as he just had to make it a few more moments and class would be over. Then he could go to his room and simply rest. Soon he began to cough violently and blood was spat upon his hand. His eyes went wide as he quickly left the classroom to return to his room and try to clam down.

Aaith was wondering around in the hallways outside trying to find the right classroom, he was a bit lost though with all the hallways and rooms. He walked up towards the door into the environmental studies classroom, grabbing the knob and opening the door he walked in slightly and looked around before noticing the teacher "Hello is this environmental studies?" Aaith stood there with his hands behind his back as he waited for an awnser.

As a Dwma instructor it was her job to teach the students. So when Chris left her class she felt as if she had done something wrong. Kurai's comment about Chris not caring only made her feel worst about the situation. Zila may have been a blood thirsty sea serpent but she honestly did care about the students. All except for Shira, who was Death's granddaughter. Zila shook the ill thoughts from her head and continued her lesson. The sound of coughing distracted her. At first she thought it was one of the students playing a prank but it was actually Kurai. Zila's nose was much more powerful than a human. She caught the scent of blood coming from the boy. 'Is he coughing up blood?' She wondered. She was concerned for his health but he left the classroom before she could even utter a word. As one student left another one entered. Zila examined the tiny white haired boy. " Yes this is Environmental Studies. The class has already begun, so please take a seat. " Zila grabbed her clipboard, which had the student attendance sheet on it. " And what might your name be?"

Aaith walked over to an empty seat and sat down before he awnsered the question "My name is Aaith Ikedo ma'am, im new to the school so i apologize for being late." Aaith obviously looked like he was ready to learn as much as he possibly could from this class.
