Introduction
Lesson 2
France
"France is the largest country in Western Europe and the third-largest in Europe as a whole. It also hold the world's fifth largest economy and second largest in Europe." he said as he looked at the glowing map on the right side of the room. "Historically speaking one can find evidence that the area of France has had people living there for over a million years ago, I will not be covering that far back however, due to the lack of time. So I will begin with the Kingdom of Francia, which existed from the 3rd century to 843." he said, waving his wand the Kingdom of Francia was outlined in a sapphire glow. "The Kingdom of Francia is the early society of a monarchy system developed in what would become the French Empire. Clovis, the King of this monarchy made Paris his capital and established the Merovingian dynasty, but his kingdom would not survive his death. The Franks, the citizens of this Monarchy Kingdom, treated land purely as a private possession and divided it among their heirs, so four kingdoms emerged from Clovis': Paris, Orléans, Soissons, and Rheims. In these times the last of the Merovingian kings effectively lost power to their Mayors of the Palace. The Son of one of the Mayors of the Palace would soon take over the monarchy and established the the Carolingian dynasty. Under this new Dynasty the four Frankish Kingdoms would be reunited and turned them into a vast empire that took much of Europe's lands. The Carolingian dynasty dies out shortly after the death of Louis I in 840. After that the Empire was divided between Louis' three sons. The Empire later crumbled under constant Viking Invasions and the Kingdom of France was soon established. Which existed until the French Revolution in the late 1700's. At the close of the French Revolution in July 1789, the absolute monarchy was abolished and France became a constitutional monarchy. Through the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen, France established fundamental rights for French citizens and all men without exception. The Declaration affirms "the natural and imprescriptible rights of man" to "liberty, property, security and resistance to oppression"." Waving his wand at the map throughout his lecture the map updated its coloring with every word spoken. "Now around this time the Wizarding Community of France came upon a new system of government as well, due to the implement of the Statute of Secrecy. “ he looked at the class. "And that is where the issues began. You see part of the Statute of Secrecy declared that Wizards could not hold Nobility, though in France there were wizards right in the King’s Court. This inevitably caused a lot of issues during the French revolution. Especially since Beauxbatons catered to both low born families and formerly high born families, The school was forced to separate students by castes, and on the occasion that they did cross, well it occasionally ended in duels. Most of the time at the school, this was avoided, outside the school that was not the case. Often there was bloodshed, and occasional deaths between the two castes. This time period is known as the Wizarding Nobility Strife. And it only grew as the muggle leader, Napoleon Bonaparte attempted to restore the French Nobility."

Lesson 2
Italy
He smiled and began to write on the board. "Italy" He turned back to the class and began to speak. "Italy. officially known the Italian Republic, is a country in Southern Europe. o the north, it borders France, Switzerland, Austria, and Slovenia along the Alps. To the south, it consists of the entirety of the Italian Peninsula, Sicily, Sardinia–the two largest islands in the Mediterranean Sea–and many other smaller islands. Italy's capital and largest city, Rome, has for centuries been one of the leading political and religious centers of Western civilization, first as the capital of the Roman Empire." He said as he pointed his wand at the map on the right wall, and the country started to glow.
"Now Italian Wizard History goes back quite a long time, all the way to the establishment of the Roman Empire. Their School shows this history by it's name: Roman Institute of Witches and Wizards. It is commonly believed to be one of the first schools of Magic established. Originally it was commonly said to be a school for children of Trivia, the Roman goddess of magic who naturally were born as mortals yet had the ability to use magic. While it is unknown if this theory is true since witchcraft and magic have been traced back to many ancient civilizations with many sources of Origin, the Ancient Romans and some modern day Italian culture still believe this theory." he said as he looked at the group. "It is said that the school was originally established inside a Temple of Trivia in the city of Pompeii, where all children and adults with any possible sign of magic were brought to be taught and trained in the magic ways. The city of Pompeii having become one of the first wizarding communities of the world, where muggles and magical lived alongside in peace. There is documented history of wizards living in the area, which is why it is commonly believed this was so. Such evidence includes: In 79 A.D., the warlock Zaccaria Innocenti cast Tarantallegra on himself and danced around inside the crater of Mount Vesuvius. Less then a year later the eruption of Mount Vesuvius destroyed the city and the school, killing a majority of the nations wizarding population." he said looking at the class. "Interestingly, many of the wizarding community seemed to blame warlock Zaccaria Innocenti for the eruption, though he never was found after the eruption so no one could prove he did or did not have anything to do with it." a chuckle escaped from the Professors lips. "The Roman nation then took the magical survivors and transported them to several Temples of Trivia to continue their studies. A School was not reestablished until after the fall of the Roman Empire. In the Early 1100's I believe. It is said the school was reestablished in Pisa, And only accepted thgose of Wizarding Descent until the Italian Wizarding Rebellion of 1893. In which the Wizarding Senate took on the decision to allow muggleborn students to begin studying at the school. " he said.

Lesson 2
United States of America
He turned to the board and wrote up "United States of America" before waving his wand at the map on the wall. The country in question began to glow. "The United States of America, Better known by the United States, America, or U.S.A. is a country located on the North American continent in Earth's Western hemisphere. Its capital is Washington, D.C., which stands for District of Columbia. Is a rather interesting country, especially in the Wizarding World. But as for it's history, it was discovered by people who have been termed as 'Native Americans' in the Ice Age, but not known to the remainder of the world until the discover of the Contenent of North America in 1492 by accident b Christopher Columbus. It was however, unsettled by European Influence until the 1600's, in which thirteen colonies were established by the English Empire." He waved his wand at the glowing section of the map and the Thirteen British Colonies, turned from Gold to a sapphire. "While the British ruled over these colonies, there were people immigrating to the Colonies from across Europe and slaves were transported from Africa to the wealthier colonies. At the time of the colonies establishing, there was one particular town that lives out in infamy among the Wizading World. The Town of Salem in the colony of Massachusetts, the sight of the modern day School of Magic, is known across the globe for the Salem Witch Trials. The Salem Witch Trials were the effect of a very Anti-magic view of the muggle world. During this event more than 30 muggles and witches and wizards were executed between February 1692 and May 1693. Over 100, according to some accounts, were imprisoned. Very few of those accused were actual of magic ability. At the close of the Salem Witch Trials, more than 250 had been accused in the area of Salem." he said, with a sad tone.He turned to map and waved his wand, and the area of Salem, Massachusetts began to glow a ruby color. "Now as for the remainder of the British Colonies, they too had trails for witchcraft, but not as frequently or well known as Salem."
He waved his wand back at the map and the ruby glow vanished. "Now, society in the colonies have become self-reliant, meaning that they pretty started to run themselves. But then when British Rules try to reinsert their rule, the nation became split. By 1775 Britain tried to reestablished control. A Revolutionary War soon broke out. The Colonists soon took up arms to fight against the British Military tying to reestablish British Control. The Revolutionary War continued to escalate, and on July 1776, The Declaration of Independence was written and signed by Colonial leaders. Had these leaders lost the war they would have been executed for Treason. The war still went on with British taking control of several towns and the Revelation, who termed themselves "Patriots", took control of several British controlled towns. When a British army was captured by the American army at Saratoga, The French joined forces with the Revolutionary Colonists, sending highly trained soldiers and naval fleets." he said as he continued his lecture. "A combined American–French force captured a second British army at Yorktown in 1781, effectively ending the war in the United States. A peace treaty in 1783 confirmed the new nation's complete separation from the British Empire, and resulted in the United States taking possession of nearly all the territory east of the Mississippi River." He waved his wand and the Sapphire color expanded, covering the area mentioned so far.
"Now as for The Wizarding Community, they two participated in the revolution, and set up their own form of government after the United States was established as it's own nation. Over time the Wizarding Culture blended with the modern day culture of the United States, where Wizarding families began to regularly interact with muggles, while hiding their abilities." he said as he looked at the students, "The United States Wizarding Community set up a unique educational system, they set up 13 "Pre-Wiz schools" where a young witch or wizard would go at the age of 8 and begin their studies until they are 12. These Pre-Wiz Schools are scattered across the nation. When a wizard or witch graduates a Pre-Wiz School, they then go to Salem Witches Institute, traditionally - until recent years - only taught females , or Darkmark Institute for Wizards, which traditionally only teaches males, and does allow study of the Dark Arts." he rolled his eyes at his last comment.
He pulled out from under his desk a large leather ball. "This is a Quod, a ball from the American game of Quodpot. Quoadpot is a variant of Quidditch, it was invented in the eighteenth century by Abraham Peasegood, and is the most popular wizarding game in the United States. Peasegood traveled to the United States from England, and, during the trip, his wand came into contact with a Quaffle in his trunk. The resulting interaction meant that, when he took the Quaffle out and began throwing it around, it exploded in his face. Having a lively sense of humor, Peasegood and his friends set about recreating the effect on a series of leather balls, and the game of Quodpot was born. Centered around the explosive properties of the ball, known as the Quod, a game of Quodpot is played between two teams with eleven players each. The players attempt to get the Quod into the pot at the end of the pitch before it explodes. When the Quod is safely in the pot - which contains a solution to stop the Quod from exploding - the scorer's team gets a point and a new Quod is brought into play. Any player in possession of the Quod when it explodes must leave the field of play. Quodpot is immensely popular in North America and South America, but is considered a minority sport in Europe, where the majority of wizards remain faithful to Quidditch. But in my opinion it is very fun to play." he said with a chuckle.

Lesson 2
Japan
He turned and began to write on the board "Japan". He waved his wand at the map and the island nation began to glow gold. "Japan, is an island nation in East Asia. Located in the Pacific Ocean, it lies to the east of the Sea of Japan, China, North Korea, South Korea and Russia, stretching from the Sea of Okhotsk in the north to the East China Sea and Taiwan in the south. The characters that make up Japan's name mean "sun-origin", which is why Japan is sometimes referred to as the "Land of the Rising Sun". It's capitol is Tokyo. It is an archipelago of 6,852 islands. The four largest islands are Honshu, Hokkaido, Kyushu, and Shikoku, which together comprise about ninety-seven percent of Japan's land area." he said with a smile. "One of these Islands holds the wizarding community of Mahou, which literally translates to Magic. Incorporated throughout this village is the wizarding school known as Mahoutokoro Institute. In Japan they approach Wizarding Education as they start education at the age of 12 and live on the island village until the end of their 6 years of education. The true History of the school and wizarding island is unknown because of the country's policy of isolation until the late 1800's. Japanese wizarding culture is highly traditional. The first written mention of Japan is in Chinese history texts from the 1st century AD. Influence from other nations followed by long periods of isolation has characterized Japan's history. From the 12th century until 1868, Japan was ruled by successive feudal military shogunates in the name of the Emperor. Japan entered into a long period of isolation in the early 17th century, which was only ended in 1853 when a United States fleet pressured Japan to open to the West. Nearly two decades of internal conflict and insurrection followed before the Meiji Emperor was restored as head of state in 1868 and the Empire of Japan was proclaimed, with the Emperor as a divine symbol of the nation. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, victory in the First Sino-Japanese War, the Russo-Japanese War and World War I allowed Japan to expand its empire during a period of increasing militarism. The Second Sino-Japanese War of 1937 expanded into part of World War II in 1941, which came to an end in 1945 following the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki by the American Muggles. Since adopting its revised constitution in 1947, Japan has maintained a unitary constitutional monarchy with an emperor and an elected legislature called the Diet." He said as he looked at the class.
