Expectations 》
I am looking for a partner capable of playing a rather dominant, dark-minded, confused, and hopeless Dracula. The way I see things, Dracula is in shock following the events of his being trapped in the monastery and Van Helsing's death. And deeply still, his past and the events which led up to what was supposed to be his final reckoning. Which I will summarize quickly here. It is up to you and your imagination to interpret these things and integrate them into your Dracula character. In summary, he basically has a trauma induced amnesia and Damien is there to help him regain his sense of self.
I anticipate a sort of romance to blossom between Dracula and Damien, despite the warnings of Simon, who seems to know a whole lot more about Dracula than he should.
This roleplay will take place in the Roleplay Subforum.
1400's
• Dracula rules the province of Wallachia.
• Dracula falls in love with his best friend Badu's sister Vena. Intends to marry her.
• War with the Turks earns Dracula the title Vlad Tepes or Vlad the Impaler.
• In a cruel act of betrayal, Badu deals with the enemy to kill Dracula in order to thrust Dracula's brother onto the throne.
• Fueled by hatred and blessed by the Devil, Dracula comes back as an unholy creature, a Vampire.
• Vena, who had already been told of Dracula's death, rejected the vampire when he returned to her side.
• In a fit of uncontrollable anger and desperation, he kills her. Then in his despair begs the Devil to give her back to him.
1500 - 1700's
• Dracula wanders the world, creating more of his kind, in his endless search for his Vena.
1800
• He meets Mina Murray, the reincarnation of his beloved Vena.
• He begins to woo her, despite knowing of her engagement to a Mr. Johnathan Harker.
1802
• Fueled by their passion, Mina begs Dracula to turn her into a vampire so that they might spend eternity together, as it should have been. Dracula does so.
• Angered and frightened by what had become of his fianceé, John Harker hired a Dr. Abraham Van Helsing a notable expert on the monsters of the dark, to kill Dracula and save Mina.
• The Dark Prince and the Doctor meet many times in battle.
• Mina is killed accidentally by a stray silver bullet fired from Van Helsing's gun.
• In a horrible fury, Dracula attacks Van Helsing and then flees back to his home province Transylvania, to regain his strength.
• Dracula had no time to mourn, Mina's death, for Van Helsing had come soon behind him and in aft their final battle and with his very last breath of life, cursed Dracula with these words:
"You are forgotten Dark Prince. Even if you remain after I am but dust, you shall never know again the light of the sun or stars. I and all of Heaven forsake you for all eternity! Now be still as I forever bury thee..."
• Both men were sealed in that dark monastery vault, as per Van Helsing's instructions of the villagers.
• The place was then abandoned, until discovered again in 1900.

Your application is a sample first post. I expect the setting to be the monastery vault, as that is where I would like to begin the roleplay. I will leave it up to you on how you wish to start. Let it be known, that I very much like inner monologues and thought.
