❦ Coragem ❦ Coragem immediately stood up and merrilly took the bag like a dog with a treat, "Oh, thank you! I'm a good learner! You'll see!" he romped through the underbrush right behind her, stupidly making more noise than he should. "I'll catch a big one! Yes yes!"

Grimacing at the noise she decides it's time for the lesson to start a little earlier than she thought. "Lessons while we are walking. One do not use your mouth, You don't want the feathers to get bloody as they are more valuable than the meat. Use only yours hands or the bag." Crouching down close to the ground she makes her way forward and speaks quietly toward Coragem. "Lesson two Owls are more perceptive to sound than most animals due to the shape of their face and location of their ears." She says emphasizing her hint. If he didn't get it she would just tell him as they got closer. Although his enthusiasm was good it wouldn't do them any good if the prey caught on to their approach.

❦ Coragem ❦ He immediately went still and his tail hung limply, "Sorry." he whispered, realizing that in his excitement he'd been making quite the racket! "So I catch one with my hands... then bring it to the market? Live?" he asked, since he assumed he needed to earn his own back or net by getting owls to sell. Despite his obvious innocence, he didn't take it for granted that people would take care of him. In fact, he expected the opposite: if he didn't do it for himself, he would get nothing. ((OOC: sorry for delay, I've been running around trying to get my car fixed in time for my long trip on the 24th. But I'll be back on the 20th, if I"m not too exhausted @.@ ))

Now that he finally got it, she smiles so he knows it's okay "Yes you want them alive, a lot of the shop keepers are picky about the quality of feathers and they have their own particular ways of removing the feathers. Also, you can bring my net back to my resting site once your done, one owl alone will pay for your own net if you'd like one and probably some other nice stuff!" Continuing farther she crouches down almost to the ground now and her eyes focus on a nest, after determining that there was indeed an Owl in it she turns to Coragem and whispers "There is an owl ahead, I will show you how I catch them but you are free to try your own methods as well." Slinking forward she gets to the base of the tree and goes to the side opposite the nest. Being that it was now close to dusk it was the best time to catch most animals off guard. Sitting painfully still she waits for an opening to present itself. One the owls attention is taken by something in the distance she begins to climb the tree silently, stealth was her biggest talent. Arriving near the nest she does not rush to grab the owl again but instead re-freezes to asses it's attention, she wouldn't be able to fly after it and so she must be sure she would have the catch. Moving even slower now she moves in on the owl, not breathing. Quickly now placing the bag over the owl she secures the ropes that are attached to the bag. "Haha!" Covering her mouth she blushes, she didn't want to scare any Owls away on Coragem.
(It's okay ^_^ life happens C: sorry this ones longer XD )

❦ Coragem ❦ His eyes were wide and watched every little movement she made, doing his best to try and learn as much as he could. What Coragem lacked in grace, he usually made up for in enthusiasm. His eyes got wider as she got closer, and when she caught it, he too cheered "Yay!" But immediately followed her lead in shutting up. He hopped from foot to foot and whispered, "What kind of owl is it? Is it pretty? Will you get lots for it?" his curiosity was taking over now. ((OOC: I just realized that I put 24th-20th @.@ I meant 14th. I'm back from my trip now, trying to catch up on everything I left hanging. ))

Trying to contain her excitement herself she lowers herself down from the tree gently. Whispering back she answers "Its a Saw-whet Owl, they are very tiny though..unfortunately she will be better off sold as a pet than as feathers." Peeking in the bag she grins "I think they are the cutest Owl though, she will fetch a decent price." Resealing the bag she looks at Coragem and she smiles "your turn! I think all that energy will serve you well. BUT! Try and remain calm until the moment of capture or chase, then you can go nuts."

❦ Coragem ❦ Coragem nodded, trying to be serious despite being so excited. He then hesitated as he wasn't sure how to listen for one, but just as he hesitated, he heard it: a not-so-far-off hooting. His grin widened and he hopped from foot to foot at first before jetting off through the underbrush. He wasn't completely silent, no, but at least his movements were much more like the sound of the wind through the trees, than a crashing elephant on a rampage. He got close to the tree at hand, but just as he went to move a foot, a mouse scurried out into the open. Immediately it caught the attention of the owl who swooped down for the mouse. As the owl swooped, Coragem leaped, using his wings for a bit of a push. He startled the owl who flailed it's wings as if to backpedal in mid-air. Unable to avoid it, the owl was captured in Coragem's grabby paws. He hit the ground ungracefully as he wasn't used to at least having one front paw to walk with, but he didn't squash the owl any further than his own grabbing had ruffled it. "I got it! I got it!" he cheered. ((OOC: Sorry for the insane delay. IRL work is causing so much stress that I can't think when I get home, all I do is try to de-stress before I get sleep. On the plus side, I applied for a job that will hopefully get me out of the horrible one I've got, so I've been throwing myself into that too.))

Watching him she could tell that despite being young, he was a natural born hunter. He didn't freak when the mouse caused a disturbance, but, instead used it quite effectively. Also they could probably bring these Owl's in tonight, the people she had stolen from most likely gone from the area now, however she would wear a cloak, just in case.
"Woo hoo!" Amos cheers and claps, no longer needing to be silent she yell over to him. "You adapted very well, you must hunt a lot. That looked like a fairly big one too! Perhaps a great horned owl?" Sitting down she waits for him to come over so she could verify the specie of the Owl in his bag.

❦ Coragem ❦ The young dragon was so excited about his catch, he didn't even think to preen at the compliment from his companion. Instead, he wanted to see if she was right and went to look at his catch, opening his paws up. The owl, feeling the sudden lack of restraint flailed in an attempt to flee. Coragem yipped and scrambled to get a fresh grip on the owl. It panted heavily in his grip, swiveling it's head at him in a wide-eye panic. "Is it? Is it?" he asked hurriedly, holding the frightened mass of feathers up to her face so she can see for him, causing the owl to feel disoriented. Even if it was what she'd told him, he actually didn't know the difference between owls yet, since they'd never been of any interest to him before now. ((OOC: Note: He dropped the bag in the leap... since I forgot about the bag rofl ))

she breaks into laughter Unable to contain it. All of his excitement, the look of panic on his face when the owl tried to escape from his claws, just to priceless. Were she an artist instead of a petty thief she would have solidified the moment in a painting.
Calming herself so she doesn't accidentally insult him, she moves her head closer to the owl determining if she was correct in here original assessment. Moving her head around it she asseses the patterns and size. She was, it was a great horned owl, and a fairly large male as well. "This is in fact a Great Horned Owl and a nice male one as well, if your lucky they might buy him for breeding! Even if not you will get quite the many gems for him! 6 at least!" Carefully she removes him from Coragem's claws, assesses him for any damage. Pleased that there is none she binds the birds wings and places him gently in Coragem's bag. Handing him back to Coragem she isn't sure what to do now, their adventure was seemingly over. So she just stares at him, maybe he would know what was next.
