- He has a pet monkey named James. It's his guardian and always carries around a little pendant that allows him contact with his family.

- Kind of quiet, until he meets someone and comes to enjoy their company, then he becomes quite the socialite. He has a tendency to be stubborn, especially once he sets his mind to accomplishing a task that he or someone has set out for him. He enjoys organization, but can adept to new things. Easily angered, and easily saddened, but on the other hand, its never hard to make him laugh and smile. He enjoys bring out the laughter and happiness for others as well, regardless of his relationship with them. He is a mix of feminine and masculine personalities, he enjoys cute things, shopping, socializing, and gossip, but also enjoys a good fight, eating quickly and messily, and drinking a good rum at the end of a hard day.
↬ Ｎａｔｕｒａｌ Ａｂｉｌｉｔｉｅｓ
- As a half-elf, he is quick and agile, and calm. He sees a situation with clarity, and enjoys learning about magic. Thanks to this blood in him, his ability to grasp the arts of the arcane are higher than that of a normal human's, but slightly lesser than that of a pure-blood elf. As a partial human however, he loses his posh-like attitude that most elves seem to inherit, and also has a humans ability to wield a better diversity in weapons, and their intuitiveness in battle. He has their open-minded attitude towards things, and doesn't feel the need to praise the forest and live a certain lifestyle as the elves seem to be need to do.
↬ Ｇｉｆｔｓ & Ｐｏｗｅｒｓ
Gifts: An amulet to stay in contact with his elven mother, and his grandfather's (on his mother's side) staff, the staff isn't the most powerful, but he needs it to focus his spells more easily so there is less of a chance of a backfire. His father, gave him his enchanted robes and an enchanted sword that never dulls. He was also given contacts to put in each day because his arcane grasp has caused his eyes to glow a faint blue. He also has several ancient texts and scrolls, each with small messily written spells on them from his mother.
Powers: a few spells, He can launch fireballs at will and wherever he points his staff or fingers, he can summon water, cause a fierce wind, and summon up a barrier of stone (Cheesy, but he is working on more than just the basics) at the moment, he is learning about summoning lightning and necromancy on the side, though he keeps that on the down low from even his mother. He can use a spell that allows him to see clearly and in the dark.

- An enchanted (the enchantment is making the weapon sharper, and never allowing it to dull) sword, and a focusing staff, along with what few offensive spells that he knows

- He was born of an Irish man named Lorcan MacAtash and a forest elf named Nienna. His mother named him after his father's father and raised him among a small town of elves. John never got to know his father, he had died of lung cancer a few months before his birth, but left him several things for him to use. Growing up, he was chastised by elven children and adults, only his mother and her family stayed by his side, but he knew it was only because he was their blood that they even tolerated his presence. When he hit 13, he left, to try and give his family piece, the parting gifts he received were listed above, the staff, the robes, the pendant, and the weapon. He found a human city, tried to live there, but was shoved around by them as well for his elven heritage, leaving him bitter at any pure-bred human and elf. His friends were the rejects, other half-breeds of any two races, and they taught him to accept who he was, and to accept the insults, and still show kindness because it would show who was the tolerant. Regardless of his dislikes towards them, he will not allow himself to hate them. Maybe he can't fit in with pure-bred human's and elves, but he has kind enough friends. Soon after he gained these friends came into his life, he changed and became interested in science, learning quickly and engaging in knowledge that he never even knew existed. He has been studying, and was studying when he learned of this academy, as did his mother, who paid for his scholarship.
