Well today is one of those days where it seems the cave is refusing to give up the dragon I want, so while i wait for it to do so I want to ask you guys what is your best "one of those days" moments concerning dragoncave?
It could be something like you had no room left and the cave dropped straight silvers or just a day where no dragin you needed seemed to show at all.

Mine was during the last mega-release (7 in 7 event). I couldn't grab all the different Coppers to get CB ones on my scroll because of the other releases. Even INCUBATE didn't help with that many eggs.

I've had a few of those days... though most were before I stopped playing back in 2010... lol
Recently though...
About two weeks ago I had an egg that just would not grow up... it sat there, and had a big hole in it. I left before the BSA's were added, other than bite of course, so I had never used earthquake before... I asked some one in the dragon cave IRC about it and they said it would not hurt fogged eggs... well that turned out to be wrong and I lost two eggs I had bred, a soul peace and a shallow water... I have been able to breed a soulpeace (should grow up today yeay) but the shallow water still alludes me...

apparently I lost a dragon? -blinks- some on from the forums gave me a pink eggy and now it's not on my scroll... idk what happened... the only baby pink i have is my bred one... the cb egg is totally vanished... this sucks...

I just had one of those days, accidentally reloaded while trying to grab a rare egg.
Now I have to wait for all my eggs to hatch..again.

pissed off right now... was trying to get one of the new eggs... i clicked on it and I got an albio ... it said it was opal... now i got to wait 5 hours to dump the stupid thing and I have to go to bed for work in the morning in like 2 hours... so not cool

grrr was working on my custom sort and the cave went down for maintenance crying hopefully i saved not too long before so i don't loose my progress. i think all i had lost was sorting my seasonal and stripes

I missed some new eggs..but I got a few new caveborns..but I missed CB elemental's again.
