"I'm hoping having Sammy around will help bring her around." He frowned a bit, thinking back on the childhood he had. It wasn't easy. Far from it. "It's not like we were expecting any of this either. She's just had the most violent reaction to the entire situation." Ocie sighed. He really was hoping that his sister would help Sparrow realize just how easy a life that she was leading here.
But then, he looked back on the minimal intelligence he'd been shown. She could be a smart girl, but she hadn't been taught much of anything. "Sammy is... She needs a lot of help right now." He frowned, glancing to the back of the house. Somehow, Sammy had managed to climb onto the roof without using her wings. Or maybe she did and he couldn't tell if she was flying or not. "First though, I need to teach her to fly. Does Sparrow know how to yet?" He asked, curious. He wasn't going to be anxious to push anyone off a cliff, but that was the way to do it.

"You think she could? I know Sparrow misses Aela terribly... We haven't seen her or her mom in weeks. The two of them were very close after all..." She, too, had seemingly lost one of her best friends recently. Even if he claimed he would visit, the girl doubted when, or if, she might see Atlantis again. He had been the first friend she had made after arriving to this new world, so it was especially painful to know she had hurt him so and that she may never speak with him again. "...She could just be lonely and confused."
Pulling away, she wiped the remaining tears from her face and followed his look towards Sammy. Again she bit her lip, this time to stifle a laugh from how silly and innocent the teenager appeared. "Yes, Sparrow knows the basics and stuff. I used to take her twice a week for lessons with Spitfire, a pegasai fauny from my homeland. She's really good at teaching flight."

"I think having another girl like her would help." He offered, knowing how valuable it was to have another like yourself. Ocie had yet to find another pae that was a deformed as himself, but he wasn't going to question it.
"See what I mean though? She'll come around. She may just need a friend to be there for her..." He shrugged a bit, kissing Twinkle's forehead before she pulled away.
"That's good." He laughed, "Not sure how she'd react to me shoving her off a cliff." That's the only way he knew how to learn. Death or flight. Usually worked pretty well. "She already dislikes me, trying to teach her how to fly would only make it worse." He grinned.
Sammy squawked, ruffling her feathers as she nestled into a nice little spot. She was tired from traveling so much, and Ocie looked like he was going to stop for a while. Sammy had found a spot with little to no distractions around her. She wanted time to pick at her feathers

Nodding, Twinkleshine continued to watch Sammy as she replied, "I guess we can at least try, especially if she's going to be staying here too. They could both probably use some more friends and someone else to talk to." She blinked. Did, did he say that? That was hilarious! Laughing, she nodded again. "I'm not sure you'd want to do that. Don't think she'd react to nicely to it, haha. If you want, I could bring Sammy to Spitfire for some lessons on the basics?"

Ocie grinned. "Things will turn out the way they're meant to turn out." He nodded, feeling almost like a wise man. That certainly wasn't something he was, otherwise he wouldn't be having doubts about how faithful Twinkle really was.
"She looks happy right now." He nodded towards Sammy. It was probably the first time she'd gotten to sit down in any one place and get comfortable. He didn't like the thought of it.
At the mention of basics of flight Ocie raised a brow. To emphasize his point he stretched his wings out in front of her. "I'm pretty sure I can handle teaching someone how to fly. Had to do it myself at a young age too." He smiled.
She grinned, plucking out an older down feather. Oh Guardians was she itchy. Sammy was content to sit in her little corner and make a nest. Pluck some feathers, fiddle with a couple of pin feathers that were coming in. She only squawked once or twice when her claws dug in a little deeper than she'd intended to scratch. It was funny, she had super sharp claws and she never used them.
"OW!" She hollered, jumping and grabbing her rump.

Still smiling brightly, she again nodded. "Yeah, I'm sure they will." Twinkleshine looked in the direction of Sparrow's room, sighing as she spoke, "Eventually she'll come to terms with everything and learn to love you too..." her hand stroked her belly, "...They will be borne and have two wonderful parents to raise them..." then she looked up to Sammy, "...and she can, from what you've said, at last have a home. Everything will be fine and as it's meant to be."

"Do you know if she'll be around today?" He asked, hoping that he could introduce Sammy to Sparrow himself. Sure, he risked serious injury, but it was worth it to give Sammy a good home.
"I'm not going to expect her to love me. I've done nothing in her eyes to deserve it." He shrugged. Love was something you earned. He knew it the hard way. "We'll raise our children to the best of our ability." Ocie reached out to gently stroke Twinkle's swelling stomach. If he didn't know better, he'd say she was growing constantly as they talked.

Twinkleshine sighed, shaking her head. "She's in her room now, but good luck to anyone trying to get her out." A blush spread across her face at his touch and she looked up at him, smiling lightly before leaning over to kiss his cheek. "Yes... That we will. I'm sure they'll end up beautifully."
