So... There are a few requirements for becoming either Crew or Vice Captain: To become Crew:
1) You have to be online and posting at least thrice a week. (That's three days for those who don't know)
2) You must have some kind of role playing experience and be semi-literate.
3) You have to be reliable and friendly. I don't want to have a crew-member who doesn't get along with anyone. No drama-queens.
To be Vice Captain:
1) Please be online and posting at least four times a week. I don't think that an inactive Vice Captain is very helpful...
2) You must have some kind of role playing experience. It doesn't matter if you've been role playing for five years or five months, just as you're not a complete noob and know what you're doing.
3) Vice Captains should be reliable, friendly, AND helpful. If someone asks a question or they are stuck on something, please try to help them. We're all friends here, right?
I'm sorry if this sounds picky, it's just my expectations. Please post your request for your desired position and tell me how often you are online. smile

I would like to apply for either position, doesn't matter which one. Just any spot that you think I am worthy of.
I try to be on at least once a day, for least five days a week. However, if something comes up that I can't plan for, then obviously what's stated above is null-and-void. If that happens I will notify you, the Captain, of how long I intend to be gone. If I'm not sure how long I will be inactive I shall simply tell you so.
My Role Playing literacy varies, due to some sort of, what I think is an irregular neurological response. If I'm Role Playing with someone who puts a lot of detail into their posts, then I can be on a high tier of literacy. However, if I'm Role Playing with someone whose posts contain very little detail, then I can be on the lowest tier of literacy because I seem to lack the ability to stay literate when reading and responding to those kinds of posts. So over all I am going to have to say that I am a semi-literate roleplayer.
I know that I am new to the guild, seeing as I only joined today (I was kind of busy, still am, so I wasn't able to get to the request till today), but I am a fast learner and I can get right into the swing of things here after just a few posts as a character.
Note :: I am currently working on developing a plot line for a very complex project (PM me if you wish to know the details), and because of that I might suddenly disappear during RP's and won't post until, at the most, two days later. The short answer to, what most people ask, "Why does it take two days?" is: "It's complicated."

I'll apply for either position. I try to get on at least once a day. There are some times that I don't make it on. I'm on at least three to four times a week. If I'm expecting to be absent, I'll be sure to notify you.
I'm usually a Lazy-Literate/Semi-Literate. I type at least two to three paragraphs. There is the occasional writers' block that I get sometimes. That doesn't happen very often though. I'm not literate to where I type four to five paragraphs. I try to be Semi-Literate.
I am always willing to answer questions. I'll still answer questions if I'm put on the crew. I like helping people out. Even if I don't know the answer, I'll try to get the answer.
I don't have a tolerance for drama at all. It ruins everyone's fun. Sometimes, I don't even get how one person can cause so much drama. Honestly, I could rant for hours on this subject, so I'll try not to.
I don't really want to call myself friendly because that sounds kind of selfish in my opinion. I do have the occasional bad mood every once in a while, but everyone has bad moods. It's part of life and emotion.
I am new to this guild. (I either joined yesterday or the day before that.) I still wouldn't mind helping out. If you think that it's too early, I'll understand. I might be a little disappointed, but I'll get over it eventually.
I want to see this guild grow. I don't care whether I'm just a member or not. I really like the idea of this guild. A circus role-play. It sounded awesome to me. I love any type of role-play really. There's no such thing as a good or bad role-play in my opinion. Some I enjoy more than others, but then again that's just my personal opinion. I really liked the thought and effort that went into this guild. That's what makes any guild good really. I like knowing that people are putting their time, effort, and money, into something. It makes things really special.
Sorry if any of this sounded corny. I was just expressing my opinions. You don't have to agree with any of them. I am serious though. I'm really sorry if it sounded a lot like First Branch's. I read that after I posted this.

Hi oatmeal ! I'd rather not like to be vice captain , so can I be crew? I'm friendly, and reliable and I'm online everyday. I am now actually semi-literate cause of the roleplay i told about about. I will start working more and posting in here. Anyways, If you'd like me a crew that would be great, if not, thank you for taking your time to read this.

Ah... well, I could qualify for both...
I'm online and, most likely, posting everyday. I'm really addicted, and when I have something to do I stay on for a while.
Role-playing experience? Hmm... I like to call my self semi-sway. I'm a variety of different levels, depending on when you catch me and where we are in the role-play. If I don't have to go anywhere, you'll get 2 paragraphs minimum. If I have to go, you'll be lucky to get three. Now, if I have the first post in a topic, I generally make small posts. When I have a decent amount to work with, I get 3-4 paragraphs. If you give me a lot, I give a lot in return. If you give me a one-liner, I will write you a f**king book. I will also say something to the effect of "Now that you have a lot to work with, I suggest you write 2 paragraphs at least~". Although, what I mean by one-liner, is less than a paragraph.
Reliable? Hmmm.... well, I wouldn't say reliable... Just kidding. You can rely on me for most things. I usually second-guess myself or what I'm doing, which is the main reason it might take me a bit to do something, but I WILL get it done. Friendly? Definitely. I usually just start talking when I have something to talk about. Now then... helpful? If I wander into a topic and see people doing something... wrong or in a way that isn't supposed to happen (I guess is the words...) then I immediately not just tell them, but usually give them alternatives.
Lastly, I tomodachi means friends. We're all tomodachi's 5ever here, right?

I'd like to apply for vice captain ;D
I haven't been on gaia as much as I have before school started (which was every single day, all day #nolife), but I do promise to post as often as I can. I usually get online everyday anyways and getting on gaia isn't really a hassle. I can post as much as anyone else can, but I'll only be posting if someone's there to RP with me.
I am very amiable and I'm pretty headstrong. I'll admit that I do have a HUGE problem with people who copyright names, ideas, and images. So hopefully no one will be taking and using copyrighted pictures ^^ I know my artists well~
I've been RPing since the 8th grade (I'm a senior now) and I even work on my own stories outside of school and gaia. I'm also skilled than most other people who try and fail sometimes, no offense D: to use PS, so I'd be happy to make banners. I also use Flash Animation, so I can do B+W flash animations for the guild.
I have experience being a crew and vice captain in other guilds. I'm also the Vice President of a club at school and I make sure to take full responsibility for problems and what-not.
Hope you consider me~

You've seen firsthand my rping capabilities so I'll let them speak for themselves. You've seen at the same time that I am exceedingly active. I'm on almost every single day and/or night and so long as the lappy is functioning, my posts come as soon as I learn that I have something to respond to. I always tell people that I am nothing if not fair (because nobody in their right minds would ever accuse me of being "nice"). And I've always maintained that if anyone needs help with something or has a question, if I know the answer, I will always do my best to lend a hand. As for experience, well...LARPed from 5th grade (back when it was just starting to no longer be called "playing pretend") until about Sophomore year. All manner of settings, anything our imaginations could conjure and it was a beautiful thing. Then I switch to some legitimate text-based rp sometime after I graduated from high school (maybe July 2010). Never looked back. Was on IMVU for a few years, then left when s**t started getting way too weak to be acceptable. Took a long hiatus and now I'm here, and have been rping on Gaia as much as possible since my join date. You could call it something of a minor addiction. So yeah, that's my application for Crew although you're the Captain. If you decide I'd be best as something else, I ain't about to fight you.
