On the surface: Wolfe is warm and friendly, hardly appearing to be a villain in the slightest. His almost Professor-esque personality seems to kindhearted to be evil and as such, his membership in Team Solstice is generally a shock to everyone that does in fact figure it out. However, he tries hard to keep it under wraps and often enjoys a life in Humilau city, preferring the warm sun to his icy cold home town of Snowpoint City. His twin life has taken a bit of a toll on him as he appears mildly older than he really is. Consequently, he may snap under the stress from time to time and just kick back and relax or yell, depending on the situation he buckles in.
But deep down: Wolfe was born and raised in Snowpoint City, a town surrounded by mountains, steeped in ancient mystery and generally sunless for most of the year. He grew up in the snowy depths of the northernmost point of the Sinnoh region and was always surrounded by Ice-type Pokemon. When he was finally old enough, he left and embarked on a journey across the region. He found himself losing touch with his frostbitten, older home, the place he grew up, and discovered the warm lands to the south. Traveling across the Sinnoh region brought him closer to other types as well. Having only been accustomed to the Ice-type of the north, the only time Wolfe ever saw anything else was when people were challenging the Gym, which wasn't very often given the nearly year round blizzards that assaulted the area.
But the Sinnoh region would prove not to be enough for Wolfe and so he moved on. When the boat left from his home town of Snowpoint City, Wolfe didn't know what to expect of the Unova Region. He heard that it wasn't as cold as Sinnoh, at least in places, and even had nice beaches, which Sinnoh had anyways. He was greeted with a pleasant sight. The region was nice, and further exploration only furthered the thought. He came across a couple of things though. The first was, when he finally decided that a Luxray of his would no longer be of much use, at least not for a while, he was going to put it up in the PC, he ran into a girl. She seemed a tad bit distraught. After chatting with her he had found out a few things. Her name, Ciella, and why she seemed a little upset. She had been searching for a Luxray, and after a lot of debate, was going to head to Sinnoh for one. Well fortunately for her, Wolfe was fine with giving his Luxray away to a good trainer and that's what he did. Deciding the girl would take car of it, he traded the Luxray away and started anew with a Pokemon Ciella had: a Sewaddle.
Moving through the Unova region was an experience for Wolfe and he had fun doing it. As it stands, a few of his teammates are from this new land. A couple more are friends from back home, even if his Staraptor doesn't fit the current theme of his team, which is a bit annoying, but he hates Tropius with a passion. He just needs it to get around and often opens with it in battle if necessary. As such they have a sort of mutual understanding and dislike of each other. Still, they're partners and act accordingly. As it stands, Wolfe is one of the Unova contacts of Team Solstice now, making a living and a life in Humilau city.
