Azure Dawnsinger
Azure Dawnsinger sat within a tavern, a frothy mug sitting on the table before him as his eyes roamed over the map he had sprawled out. Everything looked to be set and, if luck was with him, this would be the first step towards a previously undiscovered quest. A gloved finger traced the route he would take from this city to his destination. It would be a long journey and he could very well be heading to an unexplored area of the server with little chance of finding anything, but it was a risk he was willing to take.
Azure was, after all, not without his own strength. While he was a bard, he had been playing the game since it's release and, as a result, was far from powerless. He hadn't heard of many bards close to his level (which may very well be a result of the class being more unpopular with they younger player base) and few were as active as he. Even fewer will willing to do some of the things he did.
Azure had gone on many dangerous quests alone and without assistance. As a bard, this may have come across as suicide to some, but Azure always managed to not only survive but excel! His ability to get around many of the games most dangerous enemies without suffering horrendous damage was baffling to many. Some had accused him of cheating but Azure would never do such a thing. Those that had gone on quests with him quickly put those accusations to rest on behalf of the bard. Azure had made many allies during his time within the game and he was always willing to assist the newbies whenever he could.
But this time he was doing something strictly for himself. This time, he was going for the sole goal of furthering himself.
Various high level quests that he had completed had given very vague hints to a possible quest designed specifically for bards. It would be dangerous and it would involve a LOT of Dragons, but Azure was confident that he could handle it.
Dragons were far from a common enemy in the game and those that parties encountered often challenged the most veteran players. But they were also unlike most other enemies. Azure was sure that those that he might encounter on this quest wouldn't be ones he would need to vanquish with strength or spells.
The map that he had didn't have his destination marked, but he was sure that it was there. A place called the Dragon Shrine, located within a huge mountain in the middle of a vast desert. The place was so far out of the way of the standard questing zones that Azure doubted he would see anyone that would be able to give him and he was hesitant to ask anyone for assistance. While there would certainly be treasure to be had, the journey would be long, difficult, and full of danger. The last thing Azure wanted was to have someone else's blood on his hands.
