Rexton awoke in his home, a dark cave hidden behind a waterfall, to find the usual damp blackness of the cave walls. He let his eyes adjust to the darkened enviorment before he let out a long sigh and stood up. "Another day in hell," He said to himself, "I guess I better go looking for some food." He began walking through the cave and up to the entrance. Just a few inches from Rexton's face were hundreds of gallons of water falling to earth into a large pool below. Rexton paused and yawned before jumping through the waterfall and into the water below.

After Rexton swam to the edge of the pool, he got out and walked over to a nearby boulder and reached behind it. He pulled out a dry new set of cloths and switched into them. When he was now in his new cloths, he began to scan the area. It was a good idea to hide within the many waterfalls of this region, but the peace in the surrounding areas were growing thin. More and more animals were disappearing, and more and more Deadbeasts were showing up. Soon the environment will begin to change and it will become unable to sustain life, even for those marked with a Branch of Sin.

Rexton ponder a few more moments and then began to move into an abandoned town nearby. He started gathering canned foods that have not been taken or spoiled. This was Rexton's life. He would scavenge and hide, hide and scavenge. He would occasionally get orders to kill an important person, but it's been months since the last order came in. He enjoyed being left alone. This meant that there was no need to kill or be killed, but he knew that this wouldn't last for long. Sooner or later someone or something will find him, and Rexton won't be alone anymore.
