I choose cleaver because easier to take out instead of accidentally cutting off a finger

This is like comparing a basket of strawberries to a box of nails. But I guess I'd chose cleaver. I like butterfly knives a lot but they don't have the most practical design around.

the cleaver is large and has i bit of weight good for chopping , but the butterfly knife can be used for more but the design of the loose joints can make it break easy. if the cleaver is made by a decent steel ill go with that.

"Cutting off a finger"? Dude, that's what the safe handle is for. rofl Seriously, bigger does go for the MABS factor, which has saved me in some fights, but seems kinda hard to actually fight with a cleaver. Plus, it's much bigger and more likely to get spotted by a cop and get your a** in a sling.
