Bruised from the night before, Xenosa didn’t exactly plan on trying out that plan again unless she found herself a bigger dragon and planned out a better landing. She briefly wondered what Daesat would think of her if she could see her on the back of the dragon, probably think she was crazy, but that was okay. Xenosa felt like she was thinking outside the box and that was the real challenge here. If she could figure out this many attempts at killing a dragon, thinking quickly on her feet would be a piece of cake later one. There was no denying that a good escape plan, one you could rely on properly was the only way to survive.
Thankfully, Xen had still injured the Ayrala which meant she could go out hunting for the injured dragon. Unfortunately, because the Ayrala’s were in families, the injured one was being thoroughly protected by other members of its family. Xenosa cursed loudly which made a few dragon heads turn her way, Xen hide behind a rock and cursed silently this time. There was no way around it; she was going home tomorrow if she didn’t kill something today. These dragons were beginning to be more of a hassle than she thought they ought to be.
With that plan quickly gone down the drain, Xenosa turned her attention to another Ayrala that was sunbathing on one of the edges. It didn’t seem to have noticed her, and it was alone. Grinning, Xen decided to try her luck with that one. Climbing the rock as silently as she could, Xen decided to try the above technique again. If the dragon was already on the ground then there would be no crash landing. As it just so happened though, as Xenosa jumped off the smaller edge above the dragon, ti spotted her and moved. In the end, the Ayrala took off, Xenosa fell hard to the ground and returned to Dae empty handed.
