Day 1 - July 8th, 2013
"Scream"
Journal, page 8
I've begun to do these prompts and as I was looking them over, one stuck out to me. "Scream" was all it said but it reminded me of a phrase I think about a lot. A phrase I do not particularly like. "Silence is the loudest scream." Right now "the storm" by Of mice and men is playing. The screaming in it is pretty loud, I can't imagine silence beating this. Is silence a scream, really?

Complete absence of sound.
I know its not literal. I agree with Gandhi's non-violent way of fighting but I ultimately believe you should stand up for yourself however you can. Be that silent or with some force. Let me first say that I am anti-war. I am against mindless violence, but if the occasion calls for it, it may come.
