Not that I believe in god[Christian, Islam, or other wise], and view a sin as nothing more than something you feel bad about afterwards, but I might think on trying this, at least once. I have to ask... if it was in the reading, I missed it... during the day, are those who practice allowed to drink something, like water, coffee, or tea?

No we aren't allowed to drink or eat anything at all

We pray and act like we normally do with some exceptions No cursing, lying, sexual relations, (you already know no eating and drinking), and no losing control of your anger

Save for my late breakfast, I will see about working on it for the rest of the day and month. How light of a meal is the iftaar?

Well you break your fast traditionally with dates and milk then you pray, afterwards you can eat or drink whatever (unless its forbidden in Islam)

30 days of prayer I don't mean any offense but I want to inform the Christians here about this since this is a Christian guild. heart Interesting, this page doesn't seem to have a free pdf booklet? While even a Czech (my mostly atheist country's) version of this event does have it... hmm... surprised
