"Congratulations on volunteering to join the UNSC, protector of Earth and her colonies. As of today, you will be part of a military force charged with the responsibility of protecting Earth, her colonies, and her allies. As you are well away, the war with the alien force known as the Covenant, has ended, and we are now at peace with the alien race known as the Sangheili are now our allies, and have promised to provide aide should we need it. Although we have defeated the Covenant, factions are still in rampant and are just as much a threat to us as they are to anyone they face.
For the next several weeks, you will learn everything from basic combat, to the basic usage of all our ship and base systems and functions in order to get around anywhere, defend yourself, and perform your functions within the UNSC. After your basics, you will go to your perspective Branch and class of your choice that you believe you will fit in, where you will be trained for an additional period of time in your perspective field.
If you fail from your field of choice, we will assign you to a field most suited to your skill set. Please do not be discouraged however as you can retry at a later time to retake training at a later time.
You will be our hope, our vanguard, our first and last line of defense against oppression, tyranny, terrorism, and extinction. You will be the defenders of Peace, Hope and Justice. The light in the darkness. You will be UNSC."
