tahariel Mage-eeee Right now I really miss JoVo... crying *cries in the corner* *cuddles and pats consolingly* it's okay...he'll be back. heart I don't know. When Jovani gets his mind set on something, he's very stubborn. And I think he may be in a lot of pain, here. He took care of Omega, but he has lots of other demons to fight. Show him your support, guys, but don't pester him to return.

This post is innocent enough. But any snide comments from anyone( and I'm not picking on you, I'm talking to EVERYONE) will result in an instant ban. This guy means a lot to many of us, including me, and I will not tolerate attacks on someone not present to defend himself.

I thought he had just gone on a temporary vacation or something at the time... sweatdrop

The thing that bothered me the most about the whole thing that led up to JoVo's departure was how nobody could just drop it or take it into private. It's like when my parents used to scream at each other over the top of my head, I didn't want to hear it and it made me so mad that they couldn't even see how much it was bothering me. No one should've even responded to that thread that JoVo made. JoVo's first post there didn't bother me, it was everybody's posts after it that upset me.
This isn't your private place to shout at each other until you're too tired to be mad anymore. This is a public place where everyone can see what you're saying and they have to deal with it when two people fight in public. It's not just between you and them, it's between you and them and everyone else who is fidgeting in the corners of the room wondering what to do.
I know I'm not in any place to judge anybody, and frankly I don't know most of the people involved as much as I'd like to. But I do know what it feels like when people you count on to be mature and responsible reduce themselves to a shouting match.

But I do know what it feels like when people you count on to be mature and responsible reduce themselves to a shouting match. Sweetie, the reason JoVo posted in public, was probably to try and "expose" a wrong that he felt had been committed. And, in a way, I agree with him. I've had it happen to me, because 1 person complained about my signature being too big. All it takes is one complaint around here, and things get handled. Which, in most cases is a good thing. But, in this case, it didn't work out like the Moderators wanted. And JoVo felt he was doing good by taking it public. Though, I don't agree with the way he handled it, I do at least, understand, his motives. And I miss him dearly.

I agree with both of you. Unfortunately, there's not much anyone can do to stop mods from posting where and when they will. sad If JoVo had wanted to make a guild to protest this, and provide a nice little link, I would totally support it, all the way. I dunno. Once again, I apologize to all of you...

They both did what came natrually to them, which was defend their rights as individuals to their actions in a situation. JoVo wanted it known what had happened, and Koko did her best to explain to JoVo what happened. In college, one of my philosophy professors would almost call this a logical argument (if you ever take Logic, you'll know what I mean).

I know why he posted in public. What I'm fairly certain that I said was that no one else who replied to that thread needed to do so. There are PM's and I'm fairly certain that Koko and JoVo at least have each other on various buddy lists, along with a bunch of other ways for them to all scream at each other without making the rest of us feel uncomfortable. Yup. I did say that. Riight here.. Quote: JoVo's first post there didn't bother me, it was everybody's posts after it that upset me. See? I understand why JoVo posted in public, and I don't disagree with it. Side Note: I'm nobody's sweetie. domokun

Side Note: I'm nobody's sweetie. domokun Well, I explained part of my own reason for posting in public, and you'll see that one of the things I said there was that the response shouldn't have been public. I don't object to JoVo posting about it, I object to the manner in which he wrote, because it was inflammatory and he's smart enough to have known that, and to the place, because while it was OK to say something in this guild, he should not have made an inflamatory post in a manner and format that invited discussion( since the discussion was likely to be harsh, and not suited to the guild).

Still, I don't think JoVo held a gun to any of your heads and said "Fight with me in my thread or else!!" neutral
