July chat time! how is everyone July/ summer going? whats new? exiting?

July is my birthday, so that was a lot of fun. :3 My brother trolled me hard and my mom kidnapped me to take me out for the evening.
My summer thus far has been...busy. I got an extra day at work now, so I'm with the kiddies that I take care of four days a week, around 35 hours a week.
I got to go on a retreat at the end of June with my church's sister church. :3 That was a lot of fun, I got to do a lot of fun things, make a lot of new friends, and I learned a lot as well. It was a really amazing and wonderful time, God really touched me while I was there.
How has yours been? :3

Summer is going okay I guess I am just getting over being sick which was no fun other than that just a lot of working.

Victoria Whitechapel Summer is going okay I guess I am just getting over being sick which was no fun other than that just a lot of working.
My summer this year is looking for a job. :/ and saving money for Baker! Praying for you girl!

How has yours been? :3 Congrats on getting accepted into the college you were going for! :3 I hope you're able to find a job soon! Getting dressed up is fun. I sometimes dress up for church just for the fun of it because it's nice to get all dressed up once in awhile. Have lots of fun! :3 Busy can be stressful, but it can be good, too, yeah. Especially if you're busy with good stuff. Still, I hope you get some time to yourself to do some things that you enjoy. :3 Thanks! I did have a really good birthday.

My summer is just slipping away. I have not done anything really exciting, except a trip to Chicago several weeks ago. I have only been to the beach once and swam in my boyfriend's pool once. Work is consuming all my time and when I am not working, I don't have anyone to hang out with, so I am just lazing around. I am not really complaining, but I know that once it gets cold again I will wonder what happened to the summer. I am not going to school this Fall; I am taking the semester off to think about what I really want to do. Back in May, I graduated with an Associate's Degree in Computer Programming, and now I am like, "now what?" I have been doing a lot of praying and thinking about what I want to do as a career. I do not want to go into computers or business anymore. It is just "meh" for me. I have gotten many suggestions to look into being a teacher, especially elementary education since I LOVE kids. I will continue to think about it and see where life takes me. In the meantime, I work full time and will save money. Hopefully next year my boyfriend and I will have enough saved to get our own place.
