Hikari: 4/20 

"Show yourself, Gym Leader." Chael said, callous voice echoing in the gym. He looked serious, cold, and ready to battle. The entirety of his team was behind him, all five main members of it. As it had been so long since they had been together, as a team, an introduction was in order for the band of misfits and warriors that entangled together to create such a group.

The first was a Croconaw, well beyond his evolving level. Argos had scars rattled across his body; the scars were from a time when he wasn't such a battler. One wrong mistake with the wrong Feraligatr any the wrong time turned him into the aggressive thing he was today. But a newfound honor resided within him and a sense of kinship to those beside him. It was pleasant, having others who weren't your enemy. To strangers sadly, he was still monstrous. A monster, but a poorly understood one.

A Rattata was on the trainer's shoulder. Out of all the Pokemon here, she appeared to be the oddest. Most trainers released such a Pokemon after the first gym or at least evolved them. This Rattata named Fear broke all those stereotypes. Yes, her race was as common as grass. But she was not to be trifled with. For if she could not defeat you with her fighting skills, she'd do so with her cleverness. If even the great Argos, the de facto leader of the five Pokemon, could respect her... any Dragonites should watch their backs.

Next was a playful looking Umbreon, full of youth and vigor. Tsuki was standing right next to the Croconaw, having made a close bond with him. He was one of the few who could actually make the water type smile. That didn't mean he couldn't defend himself. Courageous and loyal, he wouldn't let anyone harm his friends. Especially if it was a specific Houndoom who he had recently created a rivalry with.

An Eevee named Hikari, with a contemplative look, studied the gym. It was probably ground type as far as she could tell. She had recently joined the team, taking a sort of liking to the Umbreon who was affectionate towards her. Beyond that, her friendships were currently minimal.

Lastly was a Zebstrika. Kizzy didn't let her current disadvantage here get in the way. Oh no, she saw this as a challenge. Something she'd overcome if Chael was forced to use her in battle. Before she was mostly used for just transportation. But now she would be also used for battles. Excitement and adrenaline swelled up inside of her. She could do this. Chael believed in her. That was all that the electric type needed.

Crossing his arms, the boy said aloud "Three on three, no items. Last man standing wins."
