angel_of_joy Sloth Intruder I think they should of let Eddie Izzard play 'tooth fairy' because I think Eddie would be brilliant playing 'tooth fairy' but that's my own opinion.
I would of loved Anthony Hopkins to play a part but that's not going to happen... But Eddie Izzard was already in the show. He played Doctor Giddian. Don't get me wrong Eddie Izzard is like my favourite person and I just bought tickets to see him live, but he's already played someone on the show. I know but I think he would of been great as a main character Eddie is a cross dresser as well So if they do Silence Of The Lamb he would of made a great Buffalo Bill..

A little part of me wants to see Johnny Depp play Buffalo Bill.

Off the top of my head, Geoffrey Rush! Maybe as a fellow mental patient with Will.

If Bloom wasn't a woman in this show, I could almost see Rush playing Alan Bloom.

thisaintmydesign There's been a rumor floating around that both David Tennant and David Bowie have been offered roles in the show, and I would be absolutely pleased with either David showing up! I desperately hope both of these things will happen. Tennant as a killer and Bowie as Hannibal's uncle...these are things I want to see. (Those are the roles I heard they were offered to play, anyway.) Since I don't watch many movies or much TV, the range of actors and actresses with whom I'm familiar is rather limited, but I'm somehow imagining Matt Smith on the show, playing a killer. His performance as I envision it is sort of darkly sinister, like his darker moments as the Eleventh Doctor. I realized that would be fascinating to stretch those moments into their own character and while I know that Hannibal will probably not be the environment in which that idea is explored (if it's ever explored at all), I would really like to see that.

I'm not a doctor who fan (you may stone me now) but I am a fan of Tennant and Smith. In my mind, I think Tennant would make a very good Dolarhyde when we get to that plot in the show, and Smith would be amazing taking on the serial killer in Silence of the Lambs.
