It is within my greatest interests that I explain this wondrous character known as the Knight of Shadows. It isn't for me to say that this man's intentions are of good will for sure, but I, for once in my writings, believe this knight truly lives to protect us. Others however, many including the Injustira Syndicate and Asmodius Corps, aims to reveal this somewhat hero to the real light, and to judge him for his actions.
The Shadow Knight, as some call him is mostly known around the city of Entei, infamous for many of his deeds and mysterious actions. However, I am amongst those that believe the Shadow Knight, who has an uncanny likeliness to a Bat at certain moments, is famous for his actions. I now take two texts from different guilds of Occulas. This first is an uncredited text from a book about Delorius'tatem in the Fallstreak Library:
It was a dark night and i was never to believe that i would see something quite like it. The Shadow Knight, as we have come to call him, lurks the skies and darkest crevices of our cities, plaguing it with ruin wherever he is found. He bears the mark of the Conclave of Declasia and is the most recent appearence we have had of any kind of shadow magic. I was in Entei when i saw him, keeping peace and protecting citizens when he attacked. As the security system of Entei chased the living target, he'd destroy anything in his path, i bet many casualties were made by him! Not only this, i found him with a group of thugs earlier. This is why i want to give you the knowledge of such a darkened guild, long since forgotten. For people such as the Shadow Knight may arise.
It is interesting to say that this is a biased account in my opinion, but it does hold some truth. I have never been able to track down directly harmed people by this knight's action. Though it is in my thoughts that Delorius'tatem was indeed a dark guild, the conclave always sort to use the darkness to aid the light of the world. So this brings me to my second text, a piece in the digital news board of Entei itself:
The Knight of Shadows is no criminal! On the night of the killing, i watched as thugs murdered the man, only for the knight to arrive minutes after to track down the thugs. It seemed as though he needed the dead man for something, and so only after that did he pursue the thugs. But when i was in the way, as the thugs aggressively pushed me away the knight caught me int he shadows and carefully put me to a side as he forced a wall from its bare ground to hinder the thugs. It was then that the security wanted the knight, and they wouldn't let me say he was not a bad man, but mis-judged.
It is unknown who wrote this message, but i feel it speaks some truth. But there are far more bad words for the knight than their are words of good intention. He is always seen in the wrong place at the wrong time, and it seems to me that the Shadow Knight comes into conflict with security often in Entei and the army of Asmodius at the Iron city. He is said to have killed many people, but others say that he has been framed, telling myself that he never hurt the innocent.
Whether the Shadow Knight's intentions are ever unveiled... i hope that it is of justice.
