Idk if theres a likelihood or rule about this but my last 10 dragons have ALL gendered male. Is it a 50/50 chance or do females pop up less often? I have way less females than males but 10 males in a row? That's a little absurd.

if you have female pink dragons you can increase the chances of an egg being female. EDIT: if you want I can gender an egg for you if you don't have any. You'll have to trade it to me then I'll trade it back as soon as I gender it. 3nodding

It happens to me every so often. I'm not sure if it's different breed by breed, but I'm fairly sure it's a 50/50 thing. I guess it's the same as trying to flip a coin and getting a certain combination to happen.
Pink dragons ftw!

Newbie, here. How/when does a hatchling get its gender? And is there a 50/50 chance of male or female overall? (I understand what's being said about the pink dragons, just curious.)

A hatchling gets its gender when it's close to becoming an adult. Not sure of the chances, it seems like a lot of people agree on 50/50 but mine have a huge tendency to gender male -___-

The answer to the question is it depends on the "state of the cave"
The amount and of dragons currently growing at one given time can influence breeding outcomes. That includes if dragons breed, which of the two parents the breed will be, if it's an alt, and the un-influenced gender. If a lot of people have female hatchlings / female influenced eggs of that breed it's more likely for new ones to be male. Same goes if there are more male actively growing in the cave the chance to be a girl is higher.
