Skye Oleander GravelliaHistory: The Gravellia Clan was founded by Hyka Kikakune Gravellia in the earliest of times of the Seireitei, he was also one of the Founders of the original Seireitei. . Hyka was the first and original Captain of Squad Six. Hyka held a wonderful title and ruled with quite some dignity. Hyka was not found of relationships that much so instead of heading a blood clan, Hyka adopted plenty of Soul Reapers thus heading the only Clan beknownst to the Soul Society as a minor Noble Clan based off adoption. Hyka taught on the principle, "Family is not through those who share the same blood but those who share the same love for one and another." After a long time of ruling as Captain of Squad Six , Hyka retired and left the 13 Court Guard Squads and became a High Judge within Central 46. After serving as a High Judge within Central 46, Hyka was recruited to Squad Zero to serve the Soul King Himself. When this action occurred the Gravellia became a full on power house and one of the four main Noble Clans. Hyka served the Soul King for quite some time as well as adopting three crucial Soul Reapers during this time who would be named Shinzo, Marimiyaki, and Junsui. These children would soon become known as the "Pillars of Heirs" as most of the Gravellia Clan would assume that these would be Hyka's successors.
Not long after adoption had occurred, Hyka retired as a Soul Reaper and ventured off to Gravellia Manor where he remained for the rest of his days. During his later years, Hyka adopted 200 Soul Reapers which held the name of Gravellia and he also named 2 more "Pillars of Heirs" who were named Izoi and Skye. So all of the pillars were listed in the form of oldest to youngest in the history text. {Shinzo, Junsui, Izoi, Marimiyaki, then lastly Skye} Hyka treated each of these kids like they were his own and bestowed the name of them as "Son" or "Daughter." Eventually Hyka came to the end of his life and as he did so he name Shinzo as his successor.
When Shinzo was announced as Clan Head he was Captain of Squad 11. People feared Shinzo rather than respected him and it was Marimiyaki who was one of the youngest "Pillars of Heir" but renound as the prodigy of the pillars who Challenged Shinzo to battle for the Clan Head and since Shinzo was Captain of Squad 11 he had no choice but to accept.
After the bloody battle, Shinzo had fallen and Marmiyaki took the throne as Clan Head. Instead of being mad or fearful the clan was gracious towards Marimiyaki and accepted him with quite grace. Marmiyaki was Captain Of Squad Six and expanded the political power of the Gravellia Clan thus making it one of the most politically influenced family's of all time. Marmiyaki also became the first Head Captain of the Soul Society that had connected his squad to his Royal Family. After ruling the 13 Court Guard Squads for a good 2oo years, Marmiyaki returned his position as Captain but remained an advisor to the Captains and Family Head. Marmiyaki ruled the Gravellia's as Clan Head for the longest time in Gravellia Clan history. He ruled the family for 513 years as Clan Head before he succumbed to death. On his death bed he had appointed Junsui as Clan Head.
Junsui as Gravellia Head, expanded the monetary balance of the Gravellia's in trade for their political influence over the Soul Society. Junsui was also the only Clan Member who did not attain a Captain's position nor any position within the 13 Court Guard Squads. Junsui was also expanded the number of people within the Gravellia's by a good 300 Soul Reapers which would make him the most adoptive Family Head. It was also Junsui who helped heal Skye when he returned home from the 13 Court Guard Squads. After healing Skye and talking politics over, Junsui resigned as Family Head and announced Skye as his Successor.
When Skye had became Family Head Skye expanded their monetary system even further in turn made the Gravellia's the wealthiest Noble family to ever exist. Skye also removed the Gravellia's base out of Squad One and after his return to the 13 Court Guard Squads as Squad Six Captain, he connected the Gravellia's to Squad Six where he could watch ever careful on his family. Skye is the most noble of any Head Clan Member and more strict as well as more graceful. Skye has also made the Gravellia's manor and base within the walls of Squad Six. To this day Skye still remains Clan Head in which he rules with poise and grace but with an Iron Fist. Special Abilities: Main Ability: Guard's ShieldThe Guard's Shield allows the user to block powerful kido blasts and cero blasts. The user creates a large shield of pure reiatsu to block the attack. They can either create the shield around themselves, or a near by ally. The shield is put out directly in front of the caster when they speak the words "Guardian's Shield!" it cannot defend against area of effect spells or block attacks made from the Zanpakuto
Soldiers: Can use this technique to block up to level 30 kido or hollow spells spells as well as equal ranked cero blasts. Soldiers can create a shield to defend an ally up to
10 feet away from themselves. This can be used twice per battle, with a 5 post cool down in between each use.
Officers: Can use this technique to block up to level 45 kido or hollow spells as well as equal ranked cero blasts. The ranged of use to defend nearby allies increases to
15 feet. This can be used three times per battle, with a 5 post cool down in between each use.
Lieutenants: Can use this technique to block up to level 60 kido or hollow spells as well as equal ranked cero blasts. The ranged of use to defend nearby allies increases to
20 feet, and lieutenants can defend 2 allies with their shield, or an ally and themselves. This can be used up to four time per battle, with a 5 post cool down in between each use.
Captains: Can use this technique to block any kido or hollow spell up to level 80 as well as any equal ranked cero blast. The ranged of use to defend nearby allies increases to
25 feet and Captains can defend up to 3 Allies, or 2 allies and themselves. This can be used up to five times per battle, with a 5 post cool down in between each use.
Minor Ability: DeadlockThis ability is to be able to lock a persons limbs in place. This means that if the opponent's arm is at a right angle meaning their elbow is bent inward a member of Gravellia Clan can place their hand simply saying the words "With honor I lock..." The opponents joint is then locked in that position meaning that they can not extend that arm out. they can do this to any part of the body but it is only effective at joints. The only part that is locked is what the users hand is touching. It only locks joints meaning if they tried to use it on their opponents forearm it would pretty much do nothing except help make it so their opponents forearm cant be broken since their is nothing to lock in the forearm it only lasts about 2 post each lock.
Soldiers would only be able to use this ability 3 times in battle.
Officers would only be able to use this ability 5 times in battle.
Lieutenants would only be able use this ability 7 times in battle.
Captain would only be able to use this ability 10 times in battle.
