here deep in the forrest is the sake brewery and the rice fields where many yokai are free to try the best at making a brew.

Lillian sneaked through the trees, making her way to the brewery. She had hear about it a while ago and wanted to check it out, but she was afraid that of getting caught by any sort of regulator, as she could be considered "underage". Lillian peeked around a tree and saw one of the rice fields and the brewery. "There it is..." Lillian whispered to herself, continuing her sneaking. "Just one quick, little, tiny peek inside couldn't hurt anyone." She held her wands firmly in her hands, having them hidden in her sleeves, just in case she got caught by anyone.

With great strides a very large oni walked past her tree. In his hand he held a naginata leaning over one shoulder supporting four large casks of sake. there where not many people out. no humans and only a few yokai. This oni slowed as he passed the tree Lillian, sniffing the air he looked over at the tree. ".....hello?..." His deep voice echoed around tree as his relaxed stare leaned in her direction

Lillian froze where she was. She heard the deep voice saying hello, or rather asking it and knew deep down that her cover was most likely blown. But she would not let herself be found just yet. "Magic, go!" She whispered, pointing her wand at a tree several yards away, in the direction she had come from. From her wand came a burst of energy that flew at the tree and hit it. The tree did not break, however, it only shook, rustling its leaves. Lillian hoped that that would distract the deep-voiced being.

There was a surprised jump the voice sounded "Raiken!" The same tree exploded, as did the boulder behind it and the sand stone cliff face behind that. The oni let out a confused "hrmmm" and set the massive load of sake down nearly right on top of her to go poke around at the now pulverized tree and stone

Lillian was shocked by what the man had just done to the tree (and everything behind it) that Lillian had just struck. The large man put down his large load of sake next to Lillian, making her jump. As the large man went to poke around at the destroyed tree, Lillian began to make a run for it. "I didn't want to get in trouble; I just wanted to look at how sake was made!" She said to herself as she ran away. She was actually running towards the brewery, but she did not know that.

The oni looked over with some confusion. "....so that is why magic was used and I was not attacked......a little girl.....an oni with wings?...no.....a fairy with horns?....meh.." He gripped his naginata lifting the sake again and started into a moderate jog. with legs almost twice as long as the girl was tall he was catching up quickly.

Lillian could hear foot steps behind her, she turned to look and saw the large man jogging after her, with a spear in hand. "Eeep!" she squeaked. As she ran her hood fell down, letting out her rather long black hair. It was then that her wings began to flutter, allowing her to lift off the ground. "I wasn't planning on drinking, I swear! I was only curious to see how sake was made!!" She screamed as she took to the air. She couldn't go high, due to the trees, and the man was catching up rather quickly, but she couldn't think of any other way to escape! The oni would likely catch her very soon.

The oni sighed seeing her take flight. dropping the four casks he swung the naginata felling the first line of trees making sure they fell in order furthest from him to closest also in perfect harmony so that they may fall through the air in front of her forcing her back. "...get back here.....only the guilty run....or the stupid....come back and explain yourself" His deep voice shouted at her as the trees began to fall

The trees fell in front of Lillian, making her scream quickly as well as forcing her to land. She turned to see the large man coming over to her, telling her to explain herself. He also said come back, but there was no way that Lillian would do that. "E-explain myself...?" Lillian parroted. "W-well, I-I was wanting to... to see how sake was made..." Lillian admitted, crossing her arms behind her and kicking up some dirt. She then stomped her foot and added, "And I'm not stupid!" She wasn't guilty either, but she felt that she had already covered that.

He picked her up by the scruff of her clothes and looked at her giving a soft laugh "...then why did you run?" he chuckled lightly and set her down "...I can see that you are not guilty.....but it was foolish to run......running implies that you are guilty...." he scooped up the casks once more "....you are a silly one......." holding the booze on the end of the naginata with one hand his other hand reached out to her "....I am Shen.....why dont you tell me your name and we can sit down booze it up a bit and I can show you how the sake is made....." he smiled warmly
