It had been a while since she had been on the mortal Isle and really, she didn't want to be here, she thought the beauty of this place that once brought her happiness and would help her now but as she walked along the beach she couldn't help but still hate herself for what happened at her mothers party, putting her hair up in a pony tail at the back of her head she sat down on the beach and looked into the water, ignoring the fact she was going to get wet and sighed, fluttering her wings a little and just really wanted to go back home, curl up on her mothers lap and cry, like she had been doing every so often since the party. This place was just as upsetting at home was, the beauty it once held for her had gone and so was one of her beautiful assets, true she was meant to have them back by the next valentines day but still, she just hated not being able to fly but no, thanks to Eris she was made to stay this way for another eight months and it was horrible.

Magnus didn't really like the outdoors.
Of course, he didn't really like much of anything these days.
The sun felt foreign on his skin, and Magnus nearly hissed at it, shielding his eyes from the sun's rays as he took in the surroundings outside of the house he spent most of his time literally holed up in. Good, there did not seem to be many people out here at the moment. Maybe Texas would let him back in the house fairly quickly. He was sick and tired of the man literally dragging him out of bed and all but shoving him outside, but he did it to appease him.
It got him to shut up for a little while, and in the end, that was all Magnus wanted. If he truly wanted to be left completely alone, maybe he should move, but of course, if he moved, he wouldn't have his giant luxurious room, which was, admittedly, not an exchange he was terribly willing to make. Living in a situation that was anything but lavish simply wouldn't be sustainable for him.
It could be argued that this wasn't really sustainable either, but Magnus' current state wasn't anywhere near acknowledging that.
Wait, was that a Pae?
... Great.
Maybe if he kept his distance, she would ... leave him alone. Yeah. Magnus kept his distance, deciding to, for the moment, sit himself on the stairs of his house and stare out to the lake instead. The girl's stance didn't seem particularly happy--clue given by the way she almost seemed to be curling in on herself. Magnus, self-absorbed as ever, just wanted to deal with her less due to that bit. He couldn't tolerate anyone else's depression on top of his own...

((Well, at least they have something in common...not that I would really say what they have in common is a good thing. XD)) Ag took a couple of deep breaths and got up, she could sit around here all day feeling sorry for herself or try and do something that MIGHT actually cheer her up and that was talking to other Pae, that always was a fun thing to do, keeping in touch with the mortals of the world, it did usually do the trick more then just sitting under a tree and staring at the beauty around her and so she got up to her feet, stretched and turned to start walking back toward the path that would lead her back toward the main living area of the Pae. As she went she hummed to herself, it was a sad tune but it was a beautiful and hunting tune though, one of her favourite pieces but that didn't last long till she saw something out the corner of her eye, stopping her in her tracks she looked around and noticed another Pae, smiling softly she started to head toward him, not really knowing what she was going to say, the thought of winging it sounded great but maybe she should of thought about it more first.((Forgive the shortness of replies, tired here but don't want to go to bed yet. XD))

... What?
Oh no. She was walking in his direction. Great. Beautiful. That was the last thing he wanted to deal with at the moment. There was, after all, a reason why he avoided going outside. Other Pae'il.
He didn't really think anyone needed to see him, nor did he really need to see anyone else. The isolation worked best for him. Was she really coming towards him? Why was she humming? Would she go away? Maybe he could close in on himself like she did and make it clear he didn't want to be bothered--oh, hell, it didn't really work as well for him. Purples and pinks had a way of stranding out, and it wasn't like his wings were particularly flexible like the demons' wings or the angels' wings.
She stopped walking! Maybe she stopped being able to see him. Good, it worked. Perhaps he could ask Texas if he could go back inside now--
No! Now she was smiling. Well, that didn't work. Now what was he supposed to do? Could he excuse himself away? He glanced behind him, back at the door, and wondered if he could feasibly just sneak in. That would work. Maybe it would allow him to get away before she got over here.
He attempted to keep the panic off his face, though, especially since he knew that if Texas saw that someone wanted to talk to Magnus, there was no doubt that he wouldn't let the other man back inside until he at least was a bit social. Magnus chewed on his lower lip, pondering how much "a bit of socialization" may be while pondering on possible escape routes.Nafretiti Yeah, Magnus has been depressed for a while now. XD He thinks he's a failure.

((LOL poor guy, maybe they could somehow cheer each other up...then again, maybe this will end up as a 'I can pitty myself better then you can!11' thing. XD Ag, went to party, got brain washed, wings got ripped off, needless to say, she doesn't exactly find herself as some sort of Goddess success story after playing minion to Eris so yeah, she is sorta in the same boat. XD; )) The goddess took a deep breath and let it out as she reached the male and stood there looking at him a little, not really sure what to say "would you like to join me for lunch?" She asked, randomly but that just seemed to come out of nowhere and so she decided to let it go, she was going to wing it and whilst consciously she wasn't going to ask that apparently her sub wanted to instead so hey, why not ask him for lunch? Not that she could really take it back now that she had offered and it would be rude to anyway but still, maybe thinking before just speaking in future would be good. "I am sorry, I should of at least introduced myself, I am Aglaia" she said offering him her hand "as abrupt and as forward as this may be, would you like to join me for lunch?"

Great, she was there. There was no escaping now.
Magnus fidgeted behind his back, hoping the woman would find an excuse to just leave. She was just staring at him. Clearly, she didn't really know what she was doing over there, right? So maybe she would think better of talking to the purple fae and he could just flee back indoors. Right. That would be good. He chewed on the inside of his lip, looking up at her rather warily.
... What?
So she came up to him, not even knowing who he was, and immediately asked him if he wanted to eat lunch with her? This sounded like all kinds of a horrible idea. He didn't prompt her to come over, he didn't even attempt to make contact with her, and most of all, he didn't know who she was. But no, apparently now Pae'il asked exact strangers if they wanted to eat lunch with them. This sounded like a homicide story waiting to happen. He went with her, and then she like ... stabbed him with a sharpened seashell or something, he didn't know what was in this area...
He was pretty sure his attacks were not passive, anyway, so he was pretty sure that she was insane without the addition of his own ability to drain from those around him.
... Well, at least she realized he wasn't aware of who she was, but that didn't seem to stop her from pressing the "let's eat lunch" issue. ...Agh.
Still, to be "polite," he offered his hand and gave a somewhat curt, "Magnus. Charmed." Hard to tell if he was being serious, really, with how flat his voice was. He let go of her hand as soon as possible, leaning forward and resting his arms on his legs. What exactly was this woman? He didn't see any wings of any sort on her, but she didn't exactly look like a faun like Vangelis, or any of the naiads he had seen in the lake.
"Why did you approach me?"Nafretiti XD His moreso revolves around what he considers to be messing up pretty terribly. Consequences and burying emotions finally catching up with him.

Ag dropped her and and folded it in front of her, it clutching onto the other "I come to you because I would company of a mortal Pae, I have had some bad luck recently and I would rather try and get over it by keeping the company of those who I find interesting and mortals are one of the things that have always kept me interested and fascinated and, of course, beautiful and right now I need all of that, I apologize for just coming to you like this, it isn't proper but this place and the Pae that live here once brought me joy and now I need it more then ever. Please, I don't want to take up much of your time and I understand if you are busy but, if you are not, will you please alow me have your company for lunch? I just wish to talk, it doesn't have to be anything fantastic and deep, I just want to have the company of the Pae that I have always found beautiful and enjoyable" she said, hoping this didn't come off as creepy or stalker-ish or whatever but knowing her, it probably did and that, she had to admit, made her hate herself a little, a Goddess shouldn't be known for this sort of stuff...well, maybe b***h Eris, but she was a whole different kettle of fish.Seiana_ZI Awww poor guy, maybe they could help each other out? Besides that, he gets to spend time with a goddess! Not many can say they had lunch with one of them and who knows, if he doesn't royally screw this up it may make him see he doesn't totally mess everything up. XD

Mortal ...
What in Telrunya was this woman talking about?
Magnus hadn't really gone to many of the deity-parties. Unlike the mess his brother Texas got in, both he and brother Criofan ended up with children from situations of too much alcohol and too much lack of good sense--but that was something Magnus wasn't really thinking about. Still, due to that much, he didn't really have extensive experience with the Erotes, and had heard nearly noting of their Grace counterparts. It didn't really strike him that this woman was one of the deities, and likely would not very quickly.
Instead, he pondered further on how his power seemed like it might have been more passive than he suspected. Was there a reason why this girl was going on about "mortals" and how they keep her interested and beautiful? So other Pae'il made her ... beautiful. What was she, some kind of witch? He had only heard about such thing in fantastical stories. Some kind of vain beauty sucker that took the youth of the young adult Pae'il and the teenagers to keep herself young...
Unfortunately, he wasn't exactly busy, That was obvious. Maybe there would be some other excuse?
... Wait, now he was beautiful?
"You're rambling," decided to announce Magnus, frankly, letting the words just tumble from his mouth. Maybe if he stayed curt, she'd just ... go away or something. That would be nice. "So why do you think you're above all of us? What is this mortal stuff you keep going on about, and why does me being a mortal make you want to eat lunch with me?"Nafretiti I'm not sure dining with a deity would convince him of that. XD

Seiana_ZI LOL I guess not, shame, his case wasn't different and dining with a Deity would help. XD Ag didn't really like using her title when on this Isle as she wanted to be treated just like every other mortal here, just a run of the mill normal Pae but then she did end up using the word 'mortal' which she guessed wasn't the smartest idea at keeping her identity a secret (or as secret as one could be in her situation) so it was her bad in that case, she should of not used that word but then she hadn't really been in the right frame of mind lately but oh well, too late now. "Yes, I guess I am, my apologies and I guess, since I did put my foot in it I might as well tell you" she said with a soft sigh "I am the Goddess of Beauty though when I am on this Isle I tend to like being treated as one of the mortals...er...Pae that reside here so I don't really go out of my way to draw attention to myself but with using the word 'mortal' I sort of gave myself up a little so it was better I told you who I was as opposed to carrying on like I was just some normal Pae that sounded arrogant.
As for you being mortal, I have, since I helped take care of my niece and thus started living here, I have discovered how beautiful this place is, home is beautiful in its own right but this place is a different kind of beauty from the Pae to the greenery, to even the insects, atmosphere and even environment and thus why I would like to have lunch with you, it would be nice to try and forget about my problem if only just for a little while and try and cheer myself up with the company of a mortal Pae. I know that it sounds strange and I know Deities don't usually do this but your company, a mortal Pae's company, would be nice right now, thats all" she said, knowing this may sound a tad strange for the other but what could she do? If she was going to dine with him then he might as well know who he was dining with so that he could rule out that she was some crazed lunatic or whatever he must think of her.

A light breeze carrying a momentary chill wafts by both Magnus and Aglaia. Carried on this breeze are a few sparkling pink, translucent feathers, including one obvious large primary wing feather.

She was the ... Goddess of ... Beauty?
... What?
Magnus blinked his eyes a few times, perhaps to make sure he wasn't hallucinating the woman in front of him. When it was confirmed that she was most definitely still there, Magnus groaned under his breath. Why did insanity seem to follow him everywhere? ... Okay, that was probably a stupid question to ask himself; he really knew the answer to that without even really needing to ask.
What on Telrunya was she rambling on about? What did her raising her niece have anything to do with her living on Telrunya? If she was a deity, why was she even bothered with living here? If he were a deity, he'd probably get away as soon as possible. As much as he liked the Isle, there was being on the Isle and then there was omnipotence in a different realm... Was that how it worked? He didn't know, but if that was how it worked, that would be awesome. Was that why she needed to suck the beauty out of other Pae'il? Maybe now that she had left wherever she lived, she needed something to sustain herself on the Isle, and normal Pae'il food just wouldn't do...
Honestly, Magnus didn't care what deities usually did. All he knew was the fact that, at the moment, one was trying to ask him for lunch because apparently being accompanied by mortals "cheered her up." He quirked a brow, about to say something else, but that was when the chilly breeze hit him.
Was that necessary?
Magnus shivered, turning his eyes in the direction the breeze came from. Wasn't it a fairly warm day? ... What were those? The sparkling pink feathers caught his eyes, and his lips pursed in fascination. Though not quite as enchanted by shiny things as his brother, Magnus was still capable of understanding beauty when he saw it, and so, he reached out and grabbed the large primary wing feather, pulling it to himself. This was ... somehow enchanting. Perhaps he should fashion it into a hair piece?
For a moment, Aglaia was forgotten.Nafretiti How would it, out of curiosity? XD

Ag was about to say something to carry on with what she said but instead a breeze came past them and she shuddered a little, looking at the breeze and noticing the feathers, watching the other take one she sighed "be my guest, take them, it isn't like I need them and I think this may be my cue to leave" she said sadly and softly as she grabbed one of the feathers and turned and started walking back down the beach, tears welling up in her eyes as she looked over the feather, remembering what happened and even now she can't even TRY and get her life back but instead she is forever reminded of what happened at her mothers ball this year and how much she wanted to actually kill Eris. Was this right for a Goddess of Beauty to think these thoughts? No, it was horrible, she was much better then this, much better then Eris, but hey, that b***h ripped her wings off, that pain and that humiliation just doesn't go away in a few days.Seiana_ZI I don't know! Was sorta thinking of different scenarios and really, nothing does seem to come to mind. XD;
