Howell laughed at the cat. Her mistrust and unamusement was so obvious that he thought it was hilarious. Not to mention that she threw everything he was giving her right back at him like she couldn't care less. He knew that there were circumstances that must have made her like that, but it was difficult to wrap his head around the fact that he seemed mistrustful. She must have run into people that lied to her and promised her magic before only to let her down.

Howell watched Margot stretch and then disengage from the window sill. He was sure that she would love how big his castle was and the fact that it moved. He didn't fail to notice how Margot was telling him about the fact that she was pretending to be accepting of the fact of being purchased. She probably thought he was an idiot, but his intelligence was far beyong average. He just liked to make people think that he was stupid so that he could blindside them late.

"Well aren't you a fiesty one. It will be interesting to see how you settle into the castle. I'm sure you'll end up spending a lot of time by the fire."

Howell flashed a winning smile at Margot and then knocked to get the attendants attention and informed him that they would be checking out. Howell only had his broom with him, but it was enough to get him and Margot home. Not to mention that he could simplay cast a spell and transport her clothes to his home without a problem. He turned to Margot and smiled once more.
"I hope you aren't afriad of heights."

Hm, castle. Was that supposed to be an enticement. It made it a bit more interesting, sure, but it wasn't a deal-breaker for the matagot. She just shrugged, wondering what his remark about 'the fire' meant. Maybe it was just a crack about her being a cat and being lazy, and liking warm places. Either way, she didn't much care. He seemed the sort to make plenty of sarcastic remarks and that would be more welcome than his trying to lay on the charm to get her in his bed. Her eyes followed him as he went back to the door. That was perhaps the shortest time anyone had spent in her room and she hadn't expected it to end with her leaving as someone's pet. Apprentice, pet - potato, potahto, same difference to her. She was sure the collar wouldn't be coming off anytime soon, so it wasn't as if she'd suddenly get her freedom from him.

When he turned to her and actually said he hoped she wasn't afraid of heights, she laughed. Margot couldn't help herself, it was just such a ridiculous statement. She had no idea whether he meant it as a statement, a joke or a questions, but the laughter was the only answer she could give to any of them. "I hope you're not seriously asking if a cat is afraid of heights. If you are, you are much, much dumber than you look," the feline told him with a roll of her eyes. Her tone made it obvious that she already had a less-than complimentary opinion of his intelligence, and that it really couldn't sink any much lower. "If we're going to fly, I'm more than used to whatever you have," she added, the smirk on her lips making it clear that her words had more meaning than face-value.

Howell smiled charmingly at the cat, despite her rude remarks to him. He knew she was wrong and he was desparate to prove her wrong, but he also wasn't about to force himself on the cat either. He had far better morals than that, even if he was a selfish p***k at times.

"Oh trust me dear, you haven't had anything like me yet." Howell said with a wink, which was tame for him.
He watched as the attendant helped pack Margot's things with her before they headed to the check out desk up front. Once they were all settled with the paperwork and Howell had paid, he brought Margot outside. He quickly drew a circle with some shapes in the middle before he placed her bags in the center. Taking a deep breath, he steadied himself and then in a flash, the bags were gone as well as the chalk markings.

Howell didn't wait to see Margot's reaction to him doing magic in front of her and found his broom. He brought it over to where Margot was standing and pulled on it, elongating it until a second seat appeared. The broom was simple, sporting two seats that looked like they could have belonged on a bicycle and some foot rests. Howell loved his broom, even if it wasn't the most fashionable one in exsistence. He hoped onto the broom and waited until Margot was seated firmly and holding onto him to take off. Howell flew fast, soaring up into the air in a matter of moments before evening out and continuing to fly straight. At this rate, it would only take them about an hour to get home.

The two certainly made an odd-looking pair as they filled out the paperwork. Despite their similar coloring, many people assumed they were a couple rather than siblings, something which they had learned to ignore with ease after so much time passing. They were arguing quietly between themselves, the man jabbing the paper with his finger to emphasize his point and the woman simply shaking her head, rolling her eyes for good measure. It was interesting for the clerk to watch, but she quickly pretended she hadn't seen or heard a thing once they had completed the application and brought it back to her, their expressions smoothed over as if nothing had happened at all. It seemed safe to assume that was the norm for the pair - especially as they were siblings, the woman noted as she entered in their information to try to find a match for what they wanted. They hadn't specified if they wanted two people or just the one, but there was a troublesome pair that served as a match and she handed them the papers, along with a few others that the computer system had spat out for them to look at. As they walked away, papers in hand and beginning to argue again, the clerk allowed herself a slight shake of her head before returning her attention to her work.

It took all kinds.

"I really don't know why we would need two people. I only need an assistant," Vanth protested, looking up at her brother while he shook the two papers at her lightly. He always was doing that and she felt like smacking him upside his head, but it probably wouldn't look very good to the people they were passing.

Charun rolled his eyes back to his sibling, crinkling the paper in his large hands. "We agreed we could at least have some sort of purpose," he argued. Neither of their tones were heated, since they never really fought with the other. "Look at these two, they aren't going to go anywhere fast with this sort of history. And you know you're curious about this bond they have," he continued, needling the woman. She frowned, hating to admit he was right, but a grin spread across his face when shed sighed.

He had won, at least for the moment. "All right. We'll at least talk to them," she conceded, flagging down a bellhop to guide them to the room they wanted. It only took a few minutes to reach their destination and the young man knocked sharply on the door to warn the occupants of a visitor before opening the door. Of course it wasn't locked, there was no need with all the magic in this place.

Stepping into the room, Vanth's eyes glanced over the room itself briefly before settling on the two inside. Charun was right behind her, hands shoved in his pockets. He would have been more at ease in jeans and a shirt, but she had insisted they both dress up - to make a good impression, she had said, and it was futile to argue with her.
