Link to article that iKill sharedBecause I'm curious, what do you guys think is causing it to move? I don't care if the answer is supernatural or not. I'm actually skeptical. My first thought was the museum staff set something up because it only turns during the day. So let's discuss possibilities and what you think is doing it.

IT'S SO COOL. emotion_kirakira
I have no idea. But I did like that one of the people at the museum said with such a straight face that it could be the spirit of the person who made it or something.

Someone on one of the forums I frequent thinks its the spirit of who its supposed to me an image of looking for offerings.
Other said it was people walking by but then why would it stop after it was turned around.

I believe that is a hoax. I think it would be cool and interesting if it was real but to fake that would be too easy, especially with a time-lapse video.

I personally don't really know what to think. On one hand it could be the museum trying to get a few more visitors in (how many people really go to the museum these days anyway? Well...apart from me because I adore them.) On the other hand, it may indeed be the spirit of the deceased looking for offerings. After all, if you were a spirit watching people pass a statue in your image each day would you not wish for offerings if that was what you were used to? I suppose for me, I'd want to actually go to the museum itself and see it in person. Maybe then I could make a decision.

That makes sense. Still, wouldn't it rotate back around again?

I can kinda see why they're saying it wouldn't. They said that the display case is at a slight angle and that the base of the statue also has a slight angle because there's a bump. So if the slants line up that the statue is finally sitting completely flat it wouldn't be able to move back around.

Still doesn't explain why it's only started moving recently.
