The Open Area
"One cannot get stronger without first feeling pain..."
___About:
This is the Division Open Training Grounds.This massive wooded area is used practicing an individuals skills in these areas. Individuals here are to use wooden sword when training in Zanjutsu, sparring, and kido. While training no protective gear is needed unless wanted so not to injure another person or yourself.
You don't have to train here if you do not seek. You are allowed to use this as a rest area to recharge if you wish to. The Captain only ask that you watch for individuals training and vis versa.
Please do note that if the Captain ask for a spar, no is not the answer you will be able to give him. You are to grab a sword or gear needed and spar. Captain Nagaswa wants the best out of you and you should always show your best, no matter how weak you are. Because determination and will -power will always catch his eyes.

To begin each training season, he usually visits and asks for a little more strength each time. Each time he goes in he doesn't get stronger physically but spiritually. His ability sense and feel Spiritual Pressure increases and he also gains a little bit heavier pressure as well. Eventually he comes to an area that has a log laying across the ground, trees surrounded them. He places his sword on the log and creates a sort of shrine so to speak, for his spirit. He uses rocks and twigs from around the area to complete his little shrine before sitting down with his legs crossed. He closes his eyes slowly and focuses on the spirit in front of him. Dim lights flicker around him showing the life of the trees but all of them get blocked out by the radiance of his zanpakuto before everything goes dark around him.☆ ★ ✪Upon entering the spirit world there is nothing. All senses are gone the only thing he has is his thoughts. He knows how to go through this world, but each time it feels different a new fresh faith is tested, because there's always this sense of possible betrayal because who knows, on day Dai tenshi miko might not even want him to be in her world and she could simply put a pit and have him fall until he leaves. So with every ounce of faith in his body, he steps forward.
Once. Twice. Three times.
With each new steps, he gets a new feeling added to his body. Each time he gets a little less blind, deaf, and gets to be able to feel the world around him. He stops a little bit still amazed by the simplicity, yet complexity, of this world. Redish orange flames flicker showing him the way he came the path in front of still as dark as when he got there. He turns forward once more taking more steps getting his normal sight, hearing, and touch with each one until finally he regains it completely. He stops knowing what comes next. He takes one last view behind him before making his way up the steps to the final area on this world.
Santiago begins the new trek upwards this time a new sensation forms. As he steps up each level his vision gets cloudier and cloudier. He sees the sparkling blue flames slowly dim down, but not because they were getting smaller but because he was getting blinder. By the time he reached the second to last level of the mountainous area his vision is completely gone. Even so he continued along his path and went up using his feeling to know when to step. Eventually Dai tenshi miko's energy can be felt and he continues up running now more than walking. Finally he reached the top of the shrine and was met by his zanpakuto's spirit.
"Welcome back, Santiago." Dai tenshi miko greets. "How have you been?" She asks even though she knows how he's doing.
Santiago turned towards the girl feeling her pressure. "I'm fine thank you for asking. How are you today?"
"Fine."
"That's good. I have a favor Dai tenshi miko" Santiago asked.☆ ★ ✪ ☆═━┈┈━═☆ ☆═━┈┈━═☆ ☆═━┈┈━═☆ ☆═━┈┈━═☆ ☆═━┈┈━═☆ ☆═━┈┈━═☆ ☆═━┈┈━═☆ ☆═━┈┈━═☆ ☆═━┈┈━═☆ ☆═━┈┈━═☆ ☆═━┈┈━═☆ ☆═━┈┈━═☆ ☆ ★ ✪ ☆ ★ ✪ ｔｏ ｋｎｏｗ ｗｈｅｒｅ ｙｏｕ ｓｔａｎｄ... ☆ ★ ✪ ☆ ★ ✪

Being your spirit I'm am fully aware of everything that you are about to face. I will grant you my power." Dai tenshi miko explains, "But not right now. Right now they aren't need in time I will, but first you must master my Shikai powers."
Santiago listened, not really having much of a choice on what to do, answering only when she finished, "Okay... Thank you." he said wishing she could help him now, but understanding her thoughts.
"Yes but I will grant you a little more power in your sensing abilities due to your faith." she said before stepping up to him.
She touched him with a foreign object, one that he couldn't imagine, but something about it made him feel empowered. After touching him with it her spirit disappeared or more like relocated to an area he couldn't even recognize and figured it was for the best not to disturb her now that she has left him. He turned feeling his way back to where he came from slowly walking down the steps glad to be regaining his vision back one step at a time. Eventually he regained all of his vision once he arrived down at the bottom of the stair way. He looked back at where he came glad that the fire's don't extinguish when he's leaving or he would miss the beauty of the shrine in the night. He took a step forward once again losing his sense of touch, sight, and hearing once more with each step. Slowly his body went numb but he returned to where he came from. He sat down and meditated once more seeing the spirits come back one by one.☆ ★ ✪When Santiago came back he was sitting in the exact same place he was originally, the only thing off was that his zanpakuto was now sitting on his legs rather than on the shrine. He picked it up and stood himself up turning around feeling the slight breeze that had traces of spirit energy on it. He felt so much more alive now, so much that he jumped into the air as high as he could.
"Woo hoo!!!" he shouted down seeing how high he had jumped in that one.
Even though it was maybe a foot or two higher than before it was still an improvement, one that he never took for granted. These little improvements gifted by his spirit would eventually collect adding on to his lieutenant powered energy making it stronger and stronger.
