Twinkleshine walked alone in the woods, two small bags, one of fish caught by her roommate, Atlantis, and one of flour taken from the tree, in her arms. If she managed to find whom she searched for today, as the fauny had high hopes for, they would likely be the first of many things to be traded between the two parties.
Supplies from the tree for meat from the forest; a fitting trade of items, or, at least her side thought so.
After all, she was no hunter, and Atlantis, while skilled in the waters, could not hope to catch a land-bound animal. He was only just becoming accustomed to walking on that land after all. Normally, Twinkleshine would not care to go days, weeks, even months without any meat; it wasn't the most pleasing of tastes on her pallet, and she would much prefer sweet berries, fruits, and grains, but they now had this little bird who only seemed to crave the stuff, and crave it constantly.
How long had it been since they moved in? It seemed so long ago that her baby sparrow was learning to move about on her own, and now she was learning to fish from her "Uncle Atlantis" and do many other things.
Ah... Children... They grow up so fast...
Their appetite and preferences grow even faster. If Twinkleshine was wrong in the location she believed Lust and Tafari to be living, a fit would certainly ensue.

"Aella!" She growled at the child who was sitting there with blood on her hands "look at what you have done!" She said as she pointed to the front door, the walls and, whilst not exactly important, the grass where the dead rabbit she had, reluctantly, gone to kill for her daughters dinner now lay discarded "I left that rabbit on the table for a reason, not to have you climb up, drag it off the table and have fun with the blood! This is going to take ages to clean up, blood is not a friendly substance to get off anything! Please Aella, when I tell you not to climb up onto the table and to leave things alone, leave. Them. Alone and don't climb on the table!" She half screamed at her as her daughter just sat there with the blood on her hands, loving the fact that the sticky substance was fun to play with. "UGH!" You didn't hear a word I said did you? Well then, you are going to have a time out" she said as she walked into the house and washed her daughters hands before taking her up to her room, placing her on the bed and walked away, closing the door behind her and hearing her daughter start to wail, wanting to come out of her room but she just left her there, she never liked being left in her room without company unless it was at bed or nap time but she wasn't going to let her get away with this, she had to learn her lesson about not playing with her food...or in this case, the stuff inside her food.

Judging from the voice that could be heard echoing among the trees, a very distinctive one at that, Twinkleshine suspected that she was heading in the right direction, and that she was probably fairly close to the destination. How lucky was that? She always seemed to screw this sort of thing off and end up in some unknown spot that would take her forever to get to.
Upon seeing a house, she sped up, having just missed whatever ordeal had been going on. Pausing at the door, she used her pony levitation magic to lift up her groceries and free her arms to knock. "Hey Lust, is this where you live?"

Lust took a deep breath and let it out as she finished walking down the stairs and looked at her friend "hi, welcome, come in and please excuse the mess, Aella decided to think playing with blood from her food was a smart idea" she said as she shook her head "no, it isn't...well, not exactly, I moved out of my place and into my aunts place since she is now living back with her fellow Gods, wishing to remain at her mothers side after what happened at the ball and so I am technically looking after her house/having semi moved in, this place is my childhood home but Aella lives here with my father till I can see if she can live in Aunt Ag's place with me which I haven't been able to ask her about yet so I am sort of between homes right now, mostly living here for obvious reasons, Aella has my old room. Anyway, enough of my rambling, how are you?" She asked her friend curiously.

Following in after her, Twinkleshine continued to carry her stuff with her magic. Why hadn't she thought of this earlier? It was so, so, SO much easier! So easy, in fact, that she almost forgot she was carrying them. "Do you care if I set these on the table?" she asked as she did so, not really waiting for a reaction. Looking around, she took note of the simple house and listened to the history of the situation. Honestly, she understood very little of it, and yet she nodded along as if it made the most perfect of sense. "I see..." she said softly, realizing something off. "...who is Aella? Your sister or something?"
Smiling, she decided to return to the point of her visit. "Oh, I'm fine, thanks for asking. Are you doing good too? I thought you could be interested in creating a kind of trade between your house and mine..." She paused, motioning to the goods she had brought.

"Yes, of course, by all means, set them on the table" she said as she started to head upstairs "and excuse me" she said as she ran up the stairs and opened the door to her daughters room and picked her up "just this once I am going to let you see someone, ONCE only, usually the punishment stands but I didn't know a good friend of mine was coming over today so you get to see her for a few moments" she said as she picked up her daughter and walked out with her "and nope, no sister, try adoptive daughter" she called down to to the first floor as she walked downstairs with her. "Aella, this is Twinkleshine, she is a friend of mommys" she said as she held the strange Pae out to her a little so as to not scare her "Twinkle, this is Aella, she is a total darling...most of the time, when she isn't using her dinners blood as paint" she said looking down at the child in her arms "say hello to the nice lady, sweetheart."Aella said nothing, just stared, wondering what was with this woman and the horn on her forehead, no one around here (that she had seen on her walks with mommy) had a horn like that, that was just strange but then she also knew that she wasn't exactly thought of as a nice Pae either so she smiled a little at this new Pae and just said 'hello' and that was it, friendly enough but still it was a tone that would of shown she was still not 100% right with this strange new comer into their home."And what was that last bit you said? I caught the end of it but thats about it" she said as she stroked her daughters head who snuggled against her and just kept looking at the other strange Pae.

An adopted daughter? How strange, she had just adopted one to-... OH GOSH! What were the odds; it appeared that this child was the same type of creature as her own. It took complete effort to hide the sheer shock she felt upon such a discovery. "Your Aella looks the same as my Sparrow!" How amazing was this? Honestly, what were the odds? One to several hundred, or even a million, Twinkleshine assumed.
But, more importantly, back to business. Focus girl, focus... "Oh, yeah." She smiles as she stood up straight, coughing once before taking on a serious tone uncharacteristic to her. It wasn't often she was able to practice such a role. "Atlantis and I were hoping to establish a means of trade between our house and your own. We would provide you with necessities acquired within the tree, such as the flour I brought with me, for some of your father's hunt." Exhaling, she grinned and took a more casual posture before shrugging. "What d'ya say?"

Lust looked at the other in disbelief and blinked a couple of times "wait...you have one of these as well!? You went to my grandmothers party then? Oh wow! They SO need to have a play date!" She said grinning at her "I am sure they could become the best of friends!" She said as she looked down at Aella "darling, would you like to meet another of your own kind?" She asked, more rhetorically then anything but still.
Aella looked up at her mother and blinked before looking back at the other that arrived, not really sure what to say, to her, strange woman with horn on head was a bit more interesting to worry about now then anything else.
The tree...a place she can't go, or at least her father said she couldn't when she was growing up but that was fine, this would give her what was needed so she couldn't really say no "and sure, be happy to d exchanges with you though it will be me doing the hunting, long story short, my father is detained by Rais, I can't hunt and nor do I like to but I will do it if it needs to be done and given I have Aella to feed now I have sort of gotten a TINY bit more used to it but still, you might need to, in advance, give me about a days notice? It isn't something I can just do like my father can, I need to get myself into a horrible frame of thinking that I hate thats all but I can do it if you don't mind the small delay and when my father gets released I am sure he won't mind taking over" she said, hoping Twinkle didn't mind.

Twinkleshine blinked, her mouth slightly opening in disbelief. Wait... Hold up! Tafari was, in simple terms, arrested? And in jail? How could this have happened; how did it happen? The girl had met the chieftain before she left the tree to raise this little bird of hers and, though admittingly intimidating, he had appeared to be a fair and understanding soul. "If it's not rude to ask, why was Tafari taken in?" It all seemed to very strange. Prison was a place for rule-breakers and bad pae, yet the pae she knew Tafari to be was very caring and kind.
This piece of information was so startling that she was completely oblivious to what Lust had said just before.

"No, it is fine to ask, my father doesn't like authority figures, he is alright with some, like he would follow Rais, Mo and the Lady Seer to Hell and back but as for the rest of the council, no such respect or love so from what I can gather he went out hunting one day, fell out of a tree, the leader of the Rangers? Came to see if he was alright, he got hostile and was taken in, thinking, I THINK, as a possible threat or something to the Tree. Well, anyway, he got in some argument or whatever with Rais and he was sent to jail for disrespecting him and his council as well as Rais not knowing if he is a threat or not so he is being kept in prison for three seasons I think till he learns that one obeys authority and learns respect towards those in charge etc.
My father gets rather vocal when authority matters are concerned and I can easily see him disrespecting the Rangers leader at least, Rais probably just hated what he had done towards his fellow council member and, being my father, probably also took his dislike out on him a little also even though he would follow him to the ends of the earth. But I am sort of a bit iffy on the exact reason but I do believe, in some form or another, that is pretty much what has happened" she said with a sigh, feeling she may have got something wrong but either way, she was fatherless for a while so she had to keep up the hunting in his absence even if she didn't like it "so whilst my father is a sweet, kind hearted Faun he just has problems with authority, other then that, he is awesome to be around as you know" she said, knowing that her father had flaws, as they all did, he just was, sometimes, rather vocal on certain ones.

There was a little bit in what Lust said that made her uncomfortable about the situation with her father. "If he completely respected Cheiftain Rais and the others, like you said, why would he disrespect one of his pae of authority? I mean... I trust my princesses with my life. Anything they say, I listen to; so if they tell me that they respect and trust someone, that person will have earned mine. That's what happened when I moved into the tree." What was also strange was how this all appeared to not bother her at all. If her father had been jailed with accusations akin to being a traitor, she would be shamed, even long after the fact, rather or not she loved him.
Hoping to move away from this topic, as strange as she found it, she tried to put more emphasis on the latter portion. "So... you've decided to hunt in his place? I really don't care for meat, but Sparrow refuses to eat anything but. Is Aella the same?"

"I understand where you are coming from and believe me, I agree but my father is...I don't know, he believes that only certain ones should be in charge, I.E, leaders like the rangers are 'lower' on the respect meter so they shouldn't deserve the kind of respect Cheif Rais, the Lady Seer and his second in charge does, to him they are not important like those who actually DO run the place." Lust shook her head "I don't share his views, I believe that those in charge, regardless how many are in charge, should be respected and obeyed, I admit I might break the odd rule here and there but I would always respect those in charge" she said with a sigh, having had to come to terms with it in her own way, sure she was upset about it but what could she do? Nothing was going to get Rais to let him go so she had to deal with it, what he said was final and her father was stuck in prison and no amount of moaning and griping was going to get him out.
Besides, if she did do anything like that, she would probably end up in a cell next to him for disturbing the peace or something and she had a daughter to take care of, she couldn't do anything where she would end up in prison so as much as she hated just leaving the matter closed that is what it was, closed. Nothing she could do about it, she may love her father but she had to deal with the situation as best she could and that was knowing her father was safe and sound and her daughter was needing her so she couldn't do anything that would make Aella motherless "she is" Lust smiled at her "I tried her with several things but then I gave up, not knowing what she ate till I decided that instead of trying with what I thought baby Pae usually ate I would try with something they didn't and given I am a hunters daughter I had rabbit I cooked up for my dinner and offered some to her and ever since shes loved it, nothing else passes her lips unless it is water, the poor thing must have thought her mother was a complete idiot for not knowing this" she said as she shook her head, at least she now knew but still, she did still feel bad a little for not knowing this even if technically she didn't have the knowledge to know.
And yes, I will be hunting in his place, don't worry, I may not be good and I may hate it but I can do it, I can remember what he taught me even if I don't like the thought of it" she said, hating her father forcing her to learn but hey, it did come in handy now even if she hated to admit it.
((Poor Lust, wait till Twinkle finds out that she will be probably shunned also if she sticks around Lust after hearing that she has been banished from the tree also... ^^;
Twinkle and Lusts friendship may be no more once that happens. ^^; ))

Nodding, she added. "I think that is best that you keep your view; I would hate for another of my friends to be accused of something of that scale..." and that horrible. While she was not familiar what the societal repercussions just the accusation could bring, Twinkle was sure that they could not be good. If it might cause her to loose her own family in the tree, albeit not connected by blood, holding her to her past, she would choose them over the faun here.
Still... It was very bothering how commonplace this seemed to Lust.
Back to the topic at hand, a much more comfortable one. "Guess it must be a preference for pae like them, huh?" It would make as much sense as any. "Well... If it isn't trouble for you, I was hoping maybe we could start some trading? I can usually go to the tree on a weekly basis to get some of the nicer necessities they have, like flour, or some special things, like honey. If there's anything you'd like, I could pick some up for you in return for meat?"
